Stayed here for 5 nights as I was taking part in the Ironman. The apartments are clean but basic, yes the bathrooms need updating but was all functional. The location was excellent literally a 3 min walk to the seafront.

Didn't eat there but had a couple of drinks which were reasonably priced. Staff are British and very friendly.

Stayed in apartment 40 which apparently is their most popular as it has a large balcony and gets the sun all day.

For the money you can't go wrong really and we are going back next Feb!

We've just got back from a 2 week stay at Club Oceano and can't wait to go there again! Everything was made so easy for us. The rooms were excellent and beds very comfortable. Pool was nice and clean and the food was incredible! Debbie and Tracey really catered for our toddlers and it was the only place they actually ate their meal.

Room Tip: There are only 2 family rooms. The one at the top was the best!

Have been to Club Oceano (and Princess Ico) Apartments on numerous occasions. On this holiday we stated at Club Oceano, it's a nice little complex of 40 apartments. Good pool for adults, small children's pool and a jacuzzi .. but ... would suggest that staff are more vigilant re the jacuzzi as some families were using it as their own little pool for the children and making it a little awkward when adults wanted to use it!!
Staff are very friendly and do have a good knowledge about walks, buses, markets, etc etc, so if you require any information then just ask them. :o)
Bar area is nice and friendly, prices very reasonable and the food was good when we ate there.
Apartments are very clean , some get the morning sun (ie 1 to 4 and top floors from apartment 10 but some don't get much sun at all, and the east facing apartments (ie 29 to 40) get the most sun, apartment 39 is quite shaded and of course apartment 40 is probably the best apartment of all but very hard to get !! There are some apartments that don't get much natural light at all.
As stated by most reviewers, it's time the bathrooms were updated as no matter how often they are cleaned, that musty smell is always there .... the bathroom suites have been there far too long and defo in need of updating to white suites.
Apartments are very handy for the main resort and supermarkets, and lol the steep hill isnt too bad to walk up,. A few tweaks here and there would make these apartments first class !!

Room Tip: Best apartment is 40 .. but as mentioned in review a lot of apartments do get the afternoon and even...

We have stayed at Club Oceano many times over the years and have always enjoyed our stay.

This year we rented one of the villa's owned by the same people as there were four of us rather than the usual three. We arrived and were immediately checked in and driven to the villa just down the road. The accommodation was lovely and very well equipped. Unusually, we were given two sets of keys which was very convenient as we were two couples sharing. The safe key was included at no extra cost. We had a good size flat screen TV with the option to use our own Sky card if we wished and again there was no extra charge for the TV.

There were two double bedrooms and two bathrooms which made life very easy for us. The kitchen was very well equipped with Microwave, Toaster, Electric Kettle, Cooker, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Fridge Freezer. The private pool was lovely and was surrounded by five sun loungers of good quality and condition. My only complaint here was that I sat by the pool and got bleach stains on my shorts which was rather annoying but they were not new so I didn't make a fuss.

The accommodation was very clean and beds and towels were changed regularly. The pool was attended to via a side entrance without any disruption in the mornings.

We had the option to use the facilities at Club Oceano which included the Pool, Bar and Pool Table however we were disappointed to find that here, they charge you by the day for Wi-Fi!!! This was not the case at our villa where we enjoyed free Wi-Fi with no charge at all. There's a computer in the bar for residents to use and I can only assume that this is why they charge. Most people have phones and tablet devices now so I think they should look at that point. We had intended to eat and drink at the bar for the afternoon but as I was waiting for an email, we left, grabbed a few cans, a couple of bottles of wine and something to eat from the local supermarket and went back to the villa where we could access our emails and sit by the pool at the same time. The bar takings would have been considerably more that day had the Wi-Fi been available.

Apart from the Wi-Fi problem we had a brilliant holiday and will most certainly go there again.

Room Tip: The villa we stayed in was called The Bungalow

We've stayed in a few places in Puerto del Carmen over the years, but we seem to keep coming back here.

The pool is lovely, although in late April/early May it could take a little more warming! The Jacuzzi is a welcome addition over many other resorts, although sometimes we wished the staff would enforce the "no under 14s" rule, as sometimes it gets used to keep the little ones quiet..

The bar staff are friendly with some good local knowledge, as are the reception staff.

The bar is inexpensive, the beer is cold and the hot and cold snacks are often welcome in the middle of the day by the pool.

The selection of TV channels could be improved if they want to keep justifying the charge though, and the wifi signal an be a bit temperamental in places, but generally is good value (cheaper than mobile data through O2 anyway!)

We'll be back again I'm sure!

A lovely small complex, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, the only thing I did not like was that if you wanted the tv on (not that we did) they charged you, also wifi came at a charge. However the pool was really nice, the staff very friendly. Only 40 apartments and loads of sunbeds which was great. Close to the centre and beach, also couple mins walk to 2 Spar supermarkets. If I was going back to Lanzarote I would certainly stay at these apartments again. Puerto del Carmen itself is looking a bit tired, the pavements are in a shocking state, the drains in the area smelt bad, bins in the streets. So much could be done to improve the area.

My first visit to Club Oceano with 3 friends. Stayed in apartment 28 which was immaculate and spacious enough for 2 of us but would't like to share with 3. The apartment was well equipped with kitchen utensils, toaster, kettle, iron and board. Nice private balcony which did get the sun around lunch time but many other balconies don't get sun at all. Other 2 friends were in room 6 which got no natural sun light at all to their balcony or living space which they would have liked. In saying that the apartment and grounds were so immaculate with lovely friendly staff, especially Nicola and the young girl on reception when we arrived. The food served from the bar was good and reasonably priced as were the drinks. The only thing I didn't like here was the bathroom which was dull and a little musty smelling at times. In need of modernisation to white suite and air fan as no window for airing the place. Location was good only 5/10 mins to front and didn't find the hill up the road bad at all the way others have commented, lots of older people walking fast past us!
