We had a lovely stay in this apartment. My husband and I arrived by taxi and easily found our way from directions given. The apartment was adequate for our needs and was well equipped. It was cosy with a lovely sunny balcony. There was a beautiful heated pool and children's pool. We didn't actually use pool as we preferred to use the beach. Location wise it was easy to use old town or new as apartment is located between both. We did lots of walking but the area is quiet hilly. This wasn't a problem for us but might not suit anyone with mobility issues.Plenty of good restaurants and bars in the vicinity with good value to be found. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. We would book again.
We had a lovely stay here, the apartment is basic but clean and has everything you need. Washing machine is a bonus and the balcony was great. The pool facilities are excellent and again, very clean. Always able to get a couple of sun beds by the pool.
Just a couple of points which make this 4 rather than 5/5: the shower isn't great - the shower head is broken so the water goes straight down making it a little awkward to shower, and the hot water seems to come and go so we had a couple of cold showers. The apartment is a little dated and the kitchen utensils could do with a spring clean, and as others have mentioned we were unable to get any English TV channels up, although this wasn't a major issue for us.
Overall, however, I think you get what you pay for. This is a great little apartment in a good location, lovely pool and perfect for a week in the sun.
Recently returned from a great stay at this apartment. Great location literally 100 yards from the Biosfera Shopping Centre, across the road from a Spar and close to a Lidl for all your self catering needs. 10 min walk down to the main strip. The complex is very well maintained and secure with access via a secure entrance at reception. The pool area was very clean and there seemed to be plentiful sunbeds for this time of year. The apartment itself which is situated on the 2nd floor had everything we needed. The balcony which had a table and chairs had sun from very early morning until around 4pm although this would likely be longer in the height of summer. The cooking facilities were ample for when we chose to make our own breakfast/lunch during the day. The double bed was reasonably comfortable and there's a fan available should it get too hot at night. It's easy to get to and from the airport. There's a bus stop just outside the apartment where the number 161 bus gets you to the airport in 15 mins for 1.40 euro.
As a little bit of feedback but not a real issue; there is no instructions on how to work the safe or get English channels on the TV. It seemed the previous occupant had left a post-it note with a code inside the safe. Eventually worked it out but would much rather have set my own code. It took ages to work out how to get English/Irish channels. It would have been useful to have some instructions for both as well as other info such as where the nearest refuse bins were etc.
Could not find any English or Irish channels even though it stated that ther were
A few shelves needed in the shower and sink area and a shower curtain
Otherwise a lovely apartment
Speaking to other guests we found we could have got another apartment in the complex a lot cheaper than what we paid for this apartment
