Haven't stayed recently but three times over the years. What a perfect holiday every time! The staff make this place - but the complex is stunning! If you want a quiet relaxing holiday this is the place for you. Ask for a apartment near the Skyline bar - as that pool is the best!

Four of us stayed here out of season for a holiday where we could get some winter sun and peace and quiet. Club Las Calas proved to be a good choice. The apartments were clean and well equipped. There were plenty of sun beds although we had to pay 6 euros a week for a foam mattress for the sunbed. We did visit the on site restaurant where the food was very good and reasonably priced. The only downside was that we heard that the resort had been sold to Club La Costa so hope they don't change things too much and spoil the family atmosphere that seems to be Club Las Calas.

This is a timeshare resort but we didn't encounter any selling at all. Our visit was for a week in February. The resort is fine and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We used both on site bar/restaurants and found them to be well used and of a good standard. The over riding impression is of a resort for the English. If you want good English pub grub it's ideal. Very close to the sea front, about a ten minute stroll and good for the shopping areas.

We went to Club Las Calas for two weeks as a part of Club la Costa timeshare. This was not upto Club La Costa standards. It was very clean and very well maintianed thoroughout. All the staff were great, helpful and friendly.
Close to the beach and all the amenities.Calas III was the windiest area and Calas I is being upgraded. In all there are 4 pools, plus a gym and other activities we did not use. The entertainment was really good.
A quite resort full of lovely friendly people.
All in all it was just a fab holiday. I cannot find fault with any area with the exeption that some areas of the appartments needed slightly modernizing and the on site shop was a nonentity. There are however good Spa shops close by to buy food, beer and wine at very reasonable prices
We are booking to go back next year.

Room Tip: If you are going in January Calas III is the windiest area. I would choose Calas I or II. All are eq...

My partner had timeshare here and we went every year around June/July. It is excellently situated. 4-5 minute walk to the beach and main promenade packed full of restaurants, bars and shops. The resort is quite big and has 3 different pools located around the resort. There is also a gym with squash court and table tennis. There is a poole table and internet room which is reasonably priced, You can also hire DVD's to play in your room. The room's are more like apartments which consist of a bedroom, lounge/diner/kitchen and a bathroom. The bedroom has a vanity desk and wardrobe and usually twin single beds which we pushed together. The lounge has a tv and dvd player with cable channels. Sofa which turns into a double bed. Dining room table and chairs, small kitchen, fridge and kitchen equipment. The bathroom has both shower and bath, plus a hairdryer. You also have a small area outside your door with patio furniture and ashtrays looking onto the pool if you are situated right. There are 2 restaurants on the resort and 2 bars which are very affordable. They also do a happy hour and have a food menu in your room should you wish to place an order, they will call you when it is ready for collection. Even though we sold the timeshare, If we ever go back to Lanzarote; I wouldn't stay anywhere else. If you are a cat lover, you will love this place as there are several not so stray cats. The resort have kind of adopted them and they come to the resort often to be fed and petted. They are very clean and friendly and if you do not close your door they will often walk in and out of your room.

Room Tip: I would recommend a ground floor room that overlooks one of the pools.

Stayed at Club Las Calas over Christmas it was great the apartments are spotless and the surrounding areas well cared for the staff are brilliant and the staff on reception couldn't do enough for you, would highly recomment the club las calas for a stay we were in one of the duplex apartments with a brilliant view of the sea and a huge very private terrace, The apartments are very homely with flat screenTV's and a very well equipped kitchen you also get a welcome pack with some coffee tea sugar and milk and water which is a really nice touch. We were asked for 15 euros for services that we didn't know about but this seemed fair as we got the safe free and as previously stated the welcome pack, I'ts not too far to the main street with all the bars we tried different ways down from the apartment but prefered going past the Spar supermarket this route seemed by far the easiest way. Will definitely be back to the club las calas in the future, well done to all the staff for making these apartments such a wonderful place to stay the only problem it is so homely you don't want to leave

Room Tip: duplex apartments are brilliant but very limited and more expensive

Stayed here in July and returned in November. All staff are friendly and polite, nothing is too much trouble. The resort was quiet on both occasions, great if you want to lay by the pool and not have to listen to screaming kids running around (my kids are grown up now). Only downside to the club is the room allocation. We have been lucky on both occasions but the pool side rooms offer little or no privacy, would hate to turn up and find I was staying in one of those. Of the two restaurants the Skyliner offers better value and a more relaxed atmosphere, evening entertainment is limited but fine if you don't want crappy tribute acts and parrot shows. Overall would definitely return and recommend to most people.
