We have just returned from a lovely break at these apartments, having been lucky enough to pay only £6 a night each for myself and my two daughters. The best thing about this place is the amazing view. We could see the whole of the Bay of Palma from our room on the 11th floor.
The ground floor of the building was very smart, with a large lounge area with free wifi. At first sight our apartment looked lovely too, until we realised how little it actually contained. By way of facilities it had plates, cups, glasses, a few pots and pans and that was it.
There was no kettle, chopping knives, serving spoons, or any other kitchen equipment, making proper self catering very difficult. Much worse was the fact that there was no heating and at night it was absolutely freezing, making it very difficult to sleep.
The walls were very thin too, as we discovered when we were woken by the couple next door during the night having a rather nasty fight. I was quite glad that it was all in German.
This hotel was definitely worth the £94 we paid overall, but the lack of basic equipment and heating would lead me to recommend it only for a summer holiday.

Room Tip: View are best from the higher floors.

have just spent 4 fantastic days at this apartment hotel . We stayed in room 1202 and enjoyed fantastic views and fell asleep each night to the sound of the waves. The room was modern and clean- the maid came everyday. We ate out during the day but managed a decent breakfast each morning with the self catering facilities- no kettle but can boil water and there is a t-pot!!
The hotel is very clean and modern and has a good pool area- though the beach is beautiful . We hired bikes and enjoyed cycling about the bay.
Palma was great- head in to the side streets and enjoy the real Majorca- also lots of unexpected bargains to be had!!
The resort is your typical holiday destination but we loved it- enjoyed looking in the gift shops and there were plenty of lovely bars and restaurants to choose from.
If you are looking for a cheap break away from it all then this is it. Have a glass of wine, smile and enjoy. We will definately be back.

We stayed here for 4 nights commencing on the 2nd April 2012. We have been coming to this Hotel for at least 8 years and during that time they have been modernising it. Well this winter it has been finished and what a great job they have done. The reception area has been altered and is now very modern. There is also a new bar/café area all of which are now of a high standard. The public toilets are one of the best ones i have ever been in and there is also a well equipped fitness room. The rooms are all well furnished and very clean. The views from the balcony are of the fantastic bay of Playa de Palma. I would say this Hotel is now a 4 star one but the price remains 2 star! I would recommend this Hotel to anyone and to book quick before they put the prices up. In fact I'm going to book now for October.

Room Tip: As the Hotel is on the front I would recommend a high room as you can hear people on the front going...

We went to Malta for a few days and stayed in an other hotel, unfortunately or maybe fortunately our flight back home was canceled and we had to find a hotel to stay 2 nights. After a little research on the airport computer Pil-lari seemed a good choice and so it was. We arrived at the hotel and were impressed by its beauty! The reception area is very shining indeed and clean, but unfortunately doesn't have competent people working on it. The man that received us was completely lost, didn't speak well any foreigner languages, and didn't know how to resolve problems such as Internet connection, soap missing in the room... But apart from that everything went well. Our flat/room was on the 7th floor and was amazing! Wonderful view, huge room, very clean toilet... Indeed a very good place to stay! Probably would stay there again if we ever come to visit Mallorca for a second time.
To sustain the idea that people working in the reception are really incompetent , when we were doing the check out we asked for a proof that we payed the hotel, well we never got it! The receptionist, and this time a young girl, was so annoyed by our demand that she made us even feel sorry for bothering her. She spoke so loud and said she couldn't give it to us because everything is done by paper and she had no clue where her 'colega' had let ours. Anyway, besides people working there, this hotel is a very good place! I would totally recommend it!

ps. bring an extra blanket with you. the rooms have no heating system and the fact that the hotel is so close to the see you might be really cold during the night!

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel.
We stayed there for two weeks at the end of august 2011. The room was very clear, it was cleaned every two or three days.
Balcony is large and spacious and the view is amazing directly to blue ocean and you can see the whole shoreline.
Best thing on this hotel is location. There is one small pool, but i didn't try it cause the ocean was just like 10 meter's further. Also the beach was excellent.
Buss to Palma goes just in front the hotel so it's easy to get there and back.
Around the hotel was many places to have dinner and for sopping (most of souvenir) Airport is also near, you can see airplanes to land there, but you can not hear them at all.

I found this hotel pleasant and quiet and perfect for travelers with lower budget.

Room Tip: Try to have room from upper floor

When on holiday, a major plus for us is for there to be a wonderful sea view.. The Pil-lari delivers this, absolutely front line. Having read earlier reviews about how, a few years ago, this was not a nice place to stay, we were a little apprehensive. However, now, spotless apartments, well equipped with all that you need, except a kettle [ we took our own] and we were extremely satisfied - nothing to complain about.

We only stayed for six nights from Monday 17th October and we were so fortunate, excellent weather, beach packed every day except for the Thuraday when it was windy and overcast but not cold and no rain at all for our stay.
You get the 21 bus from the Airport and this stops in front of the Pil-lari reception which is at the "back" of the hotel, the front, being the opposite side, overlooking the beach and promenade. Going out of the Pil-lari on the reception side [main road and bus stops ] you turn left and cross over the road to a parade of shops and bars. At the end of this row, on the bend, so not visible until you get to it, is the Eroski Supermarket, excellent range of goods including freshly baked baguettes - best place to stock up - and only five minutes away. Going out of this same entrance, you can get the No 15 or No 25 bus to Arenal or cross over the road and get the No. 15 to Palma via C'an Patilla or the No 25 for direct service to Palma. So convenient. Going out the beach entrance, there is also a stop for the orange tourist "train" which runs between Arenal and C'an Pastilla. This was 4 Euros for a return trip, but unlike the Hop On / Hop Off Red Tourist bus in Palma, it is not for all day use, just the one return trip. We went on this on the cloudy Thursday when we went to the Street Market in Arenal.

The Pil-lari really suited us, we are retired and were not seeking late nights and razzamatzz, nor in-house entertainment though on one evening there was a singer but we missed this. For beach lovers, you just cross over the road and the Pil-lari has two swimming pools as well. The dining options in the area were fairly limited but with the buses running so frequently, you could easliy get to the other main areas.

Our best meal was on the day we took the No 25 into Palma and then got the No.211, direct bus to Puerto de Soller. We dined at the Pizzeria del Porto, absolutely first class. Try the Pork escalopes in a mushroom and cream sauce, quite delicious. The owners are to be congratulated on the quality of their food.

We would love to return to the Pil-lari, super place to stay.

If I can be of any help please email me, I will be very happy to answer any queries.

Room Tip: We chose a superior room which was on the top floor and it was absolutely first class.

A group of 22 students and 2 tutors took part in an overseas Residential Study visit to Mallorca. Originally we were booked into the Ambos Mundos, however due to the hotel not being open for customers we were offered the Pil-lari instead. What a result !!!!!!
The standard of the hotel was excellent, the rooms were great, all with a kitchenette. The swimming pool was clean but very cold !!, but we had some great fun !

The staff were friendly and helpful, provding a quick solution for food arrangements as they couldnt cater for the evening meal. They arranged for us to have dinner at Caballbro hotel which was situated across the road.

Overall an excellent stay, highly reccommended by all party !!!
