“Great t Property”

The property is very spacious and very clean and tidy. There are plenty of facilities for both adults and children. The landlord was very friendly and helpful.

The front drive parking is private and feels very safe.
The property is located in a quiet village and is convenient location to explore Scotland. Most of the tourist locations are within 2 hours drive from the property.

Overall an excellent experience all round.

Ahmed’s family were a delight to host and have generously made several remarks of gratitude. They had travelled long distances and we were keen to help with preparations in advance and for them to get settled in as soon as possible. At least with close access to the village and ample supply of major supermarkets, it’s not a challenge for guests to fully settle in as their home from home; and optimise the villa’s spacious internal areas/flexible bedroom configurations. Such things tend to hold great appeal for multi-generational family groups. We not only appreciated their high respect for our property but were also all the more content because they seemed happy to explore the many beauty spots within easy range.

All the very best, and haste ye back.

Lovely garden! We were a family of 8 from 7 years to 67 and this house was perfect for us. Shops and restaurants an easy walking distance for all. The location is very central. Landlord is very helpful and close by if you need him.

From his early requests for advice about orchestrating his wedding events, to his consideration when erecting a marquee on our lawn, Gurjit was keen to make sure we were fully informed and even included in some of the entertainment for this major celebration event. We’re always delighted when guests make the most of Pleasant Hill’s capacity especially the proximity to village centre and amenity of the wider private garden areas for both the villa and main hoose next door - which his multi-generational and overseas family members clearly appreciated. Their use of the terrace and garden even seemed to be rewarded with fine weather and fabulous evening views. These are part of the appeal and why guests choose to return here. A wonderful family gathering, and a pleasure to host.
Haste ye back,
Chris

Our heartfelt thanks to Steve and his group for their kind and courteous words and other displays of appreciation during their stay. It was all the more fulfilling to see this theatre group's youngsters make full use of the wider garden area and trampoline for their R&R. We were honoured guests for a superb mini 'show', and glad the open-plan living area satisfied spatial needs for the troupe to practise indoors. Although your guest numbers had to vary because of the illness and leaders' other commitments, we're especially glad that a group of up to 20 could make good use of the villa. Trusting the 'english patient' has made a full recovery, we would love to see everyone for a return visit.
Haste ye back, Chris

When we arrived we were met by Chris who from the word go couldn't do enough. The house was big enough for 15 of us for a lovely weekend away with all the family. Everyone loved the house the beautiful garden, especially the boys who are keen on football. The location was great as it meant that we could walk to the cafe's, bars and the rest. Mugdock Country Park was good fun for kids of all ages even grown ups. We would have no hesitation in staying here again but for a bit longer next time. The best family break !

This family were a pleasure to host, but it’s worth adding that we’re always delighted when guests make the most of Pleasant Hill’s capacity and amenities - as well as the wider area, including our own Country Park - especially for multi-generational gatherings in Scotland. We're glad they found the location and accessibility so peaceful, pretty and handy. These are amongst the main attractions and why people choose to return here. We also invite guests to feel free to use the wider garden space for both Pleasant Hill and the main hoose next door, but their own private garden area seemed to work well enough.
All the very best.
Haste ye back.

“A perfect place to stay”

We had a lovely time staying in this house. It was clean and well organised with everything we could need to hand. The kitchen was well equipped and there were even starter supplies of freshly baked bread, butter, marmalade and milk when we arrived, which was lovely. The house is big enough to comfortably accommodate large groups and although there were only 5 of us it meant we could all have our own rooms. The garden is beautiful and the stunning weather we were lucky enough to have meant we were able to sit outside and enjoy it. Sundowner drinks on the patio in the sunshine were particularly lovely.
The house is very well situated to access Glasgow City (about 25 minutes on the train - the station is within close walking distance). There are lovely walks nearby (all the details of which were kindly supplied by Chris, along with other useful information such as where to eat etc). We had a car so were also easily able to drive to the nearby beautiful Loch Lomond and explore that area too.

20 Cairns Drive was absolutely perfect for our needs and Chris was vey kind and helpful with the many questions we posed for him.

We were delighted to host your group, many of whom had travelled considerable distances which is why we were happy to help with some of your preparatory shopping. The capacious nature of the property enables us to maintain a flexible bedroom configuration and has proven appealing to a variety of group sizes. We're also glad you found the location and accessibility so handy. This is one of the main attractions and why people choose to return here.
Haste ye back.
