The property is very spacious and very clean and tidy. There are plenty of facilities for both adults and children. The landlord was very friendly and helpful.
The front drive parking is private and feels very safe.
The property is located in a quiet village and is convenient location to explore Scotland. Most of the tourist locations are within 2 hours drive from the property.
Overall an excellent experience all round.
Lovely garden! We were a family of 8 from 7 years to 67 and this house was perfect for us. Shops and restaurants an easy walking distance for all. The location is very central. Landlord is very helpful and close by if you need him.
Great house that fit me and 15 of my family comfertably. Large backyard with beautiful views. 4 minute walk to town center and 15-20 minute drive to central Glasgow. Would highly recommend this place if staying in Milngavie
When we arrived we were met by Chris who from the word go couldn't do enough. The house was big enough for 15 of us for a lovely weekend away with all the family. Everyone loved the house the beautiful garden, especially the boys who are keen on football. The location was great as it meant that we could walk to the cafe's, bars and the rest. Mugdock Country Park was good fun for kids of all ages even grown ups. We would have no hesitation in staying here again but for a bit longer next time. The best family break !
We had a lovely time staying in this house. It was clean and well organised with everything we could need to hand. The kitchen was well equipped and there were even starter supplies of freshly baked bread, butter, marmalade and milk when we arrived, which was lovely. The house is big enough to comfortably accommodate large groups and although there were only 5 of us it meant we could all have our own rooms. The garden is beautiful and the stunning weather we were lucky enough to have meant we were able to sit outside and enjoy it. Sundowner drinks on the patio in the sunshine were particularly lovely.
The house is very well situated to access Glasgow City (about 25 minutes on the train - the station is within close walking distance). There are lovely walks nearby (all the details of which were kindly supplied by Chris, along with other useful information such as where to eat etc). We had a car so were also easily able to drive to the nearby beautiful Loch Lomond and explore that area too.
20 Cairns Drive was absolutely perfect for our needs and Chris was vey kind and helpful with the many questions we posed for him.
Convenient location being close to Glasgow city centre and Loch Lomond/start of the Highlands. Edinburgh within easy reach. Train station close by with frequent services into Glasgow and Edinburgh. Shops and supermarkets within close walking distance.Spacious well equipped house. One bedroom very much geared up for children.The owners are very friendly and exceptionally helpful.Deer visited the garden whilst we were there.
