Stated our West Highland Way from Best Foot Forward. Late arrival was no problem. Very welcoming. Lots of local info about pubs and food etc. Nice clean room. Belting breakfast. Very good value. Thanks Morag.

Friendly woman, dirty stained sheets, average breakfast, too much air freshener. Overall, a reasonable B&B blighted by an air of skankiness.

Good location for the West Highland Way. Beefeater nearby for cheap food. Who can argue with unlimited chips????

I had to book accommodations for five people at the last minute due to a family emergency, and Morag was a wonderful, flexible, understanding host from the very first email. Do note that only cash is accepted. The breakfast portions are very generous, so if you are staying there and NOT hiking the WHW, the continental breakfast option, which is a bit lighter than the Full Scottish, might be a good option. Thanks for everything Mrs. McNeill!

Stayed for one night before start of West Highland Way. Morag very welcoming, organised and provided a good cooked breakfast. We had Room 2, a twin room under the eaves with sloping window above one single bed - therefore it could not be left open overnight. Shower-room was smallest ever. Very long steep steps up to house. Under flight path of Glasgow Airport. OK for one night but not longer.

Room Tip: Room 2 OK for one night only.

My first stop on The Way, was just great, very comfortable room, lovely cooked breakfast, very friendly atmosphere, hope to be back next year. The guesthouse is within a half mile of the start, with a couple of nice eating houses in the village.

Room Tip: My room was lovely
