Planned a cycle ride around this cafe for the halfway, obligatory, tea and cake stop. It looks very attractive from the roadside, tables outside with real tablecloths within a picket fenced area. (Dog drinking water bowl supplied). Inside are more tables than you might expect, a counter full of scrummy looking cakes and a wonderful radiogram/record player. On the menu were bacon buttes, full english breakfasts and other dishes which will tempt me back (soon!). I had a lovely pot of tea, really fresh tasting, and a great slice of Lemon Drizzle cake. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming too. I highly recommend this cafe.
