Holidayed at the Bahia Princess after originally booking for the sister hotel, the Guaymarina, which was undergoing renovation. All in all this was a good choice and one that, as a party of eight, we did not regret. Great location in Costa Adeje with easy access to all that it offers with plenty of bars, shopping and beaches nearby. The hotel rooms were clean, if basic, and beds were extremely comfortable. However, the television reception for the English channels was intermittent which was irritating with the World Cup on-going, but was hardly life threatening. We were placed in the annexe in room 4001 which overlooked the pool and this was a good choice with lifts available to the restaurant and pool areas. The restaurant was getting a little busier on our second week but there was still plenty of room and the food quality and choice was more than adequate. Plenty of sunbeds and the three pools were of a good standard. The bar areas at the top of the steps provided a nice breezy area in which to cool down during the day and a pleasant location to take a drink after the evening meal. Generally, this was a hotel that more than met our expectations, and while it could pose a few problems for the less mobile, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Good - Room and Hotel clean. Maid service very good. Wide choice of food to cater everyone's taste, which was regularly replenished. All meals buffet style, I would have liked an 'a la carte' dining option. Sun-beds were not a problem, but like most Hotels, people put out towels for hours.
Two evening shows per night, some entertainers also performed at the 5 Star Hotels. Staff were generally helpful and pleasant. The layout will cause issues for people with mobility problems. I would stay at the Hotel again.

The Bad - Not much really. Leaky shower, with fixed shower head which could not be adjusted for height. Toilet seat and bath marked, needed upgrading. Waiter service in Piano Bar was haphazard re service. We didn't care for waiters giving change on a plate and holding it in their hand whilst you recovered it, leaving a tip.We were in the annexe over the Pool, which didn't get any sun until late evening.

Just returned from a fortnight at this lovely hotel. The staff here are very nice and friendly, the food was lovely, yes sometimes at busy times the dining room could be very busy, but you don't have to eat at these times. The food was always replenished and was hot, plenty of variety to choose from. The cleanliness of this hotel couldn't be faulted. The pool areas are roomy and very clean. You know before you go you have to pay for safe, fridge etc so you know what to expect. The steps are not too bad and there are lifts. Please do not let negative reviews put you off booking this excellent hotel.

We have just returned from a week at this hotel. Overall we had a very enjoyable week with some minor niggles. The room was clean and large enough for all 3 of us. The breakfast was great with a good selection of food, everything from cereal to continental to English breakfast. Dinner time was another matter. The meals seemed random and everything on the starter table was pickled!, some evenings offered better selection than others. The pool was fabulous and clean. No wifi unless you paid for it. The drinks were typical hotel prices , twice as much as you would pay on the pier front. The animation team were great and there was plenty of activities to keep even the most demanding teenager busy. Rifle shooting, archery etc. The evening entertainment was ok. Overall this is a good hotel within a great location. If your looking for something in costa adje which is of good quality at a decent price this is the one to book.

Room Tip: A pool view is about best as it is away from the road noise, however you will have to put up with th...

All due to this hotel, their staff, the food even the entertainment which by experience is usually rubbish in hotels was good cant praise it enough. Have to say though 4 euro a day for a fridge seems a bit miserly considering the money paid for this holiday but this didn't detract from what was a good hotel in a great resort

Room Tip: For somewhere to go outside of the hotel then turn right at the front and walk round to the Bar uniq...

If you are reading this review you will know it is not my first vist here but mu third. Great hotel, rooms and staff are lovely and friendly lots of pools and loungers to choose from. The food is good plenty to choose from, its just a shame they could do with a better way of keeping things hot though. When we went this time the hotel was very quiet, no queues for anything, we have been previously and you had to queue to get in for your meals.
When we arrived we were given a huge room with 3 sets of patio doors in, it was lovely. It was against the road at the side. It was far to noisey we had to move the next day. We asked for an internal room and this was just under one of the pools. Very very quiet, best sleep I have had in years!!.
I think a star rated hotel like this should offer free wifi in this day and age as you can get it in plenty of bars/restaurants in this area for the price of a drink.
Reception sofas need replacing in the main entrance up near the toilets, they looked bad last time but now they have no stuffing left in the arms at all and look rather shabby.
Things i would recomed
Email for a pool view if you are a light sleeper, as the roads outside of the hotel are very busy.
Go over the road to bar Miami for a Mojito 4 euros and are beautiful, 7 euros in the hotel and they are very poor :(
Go to the Wigan Pier on the end for free wifi (6 euros a day in the hotel)
If their are a few of you going here and you have more than one room just get one safe £16.00 per week.
Nice place to stay, with great staff, just needs a face lift and a touch of paint
Walk along the esplenard up to las Americas.

Room Tip: pick an internal/pool view much quieter, road & bar noise outside can be very bad
