Huge hotel, but still very well organized. Rooms are spatious, clean and beds are ... mmm heaven. Food is... I really don`t know how to describe. You have choice from italian, to classical, to typical local food, which I really liked because I like to try new stuff. The only minus is the coffee. The one you get for breakfast (at least that is when I drink it) has awfull taste. You can get better one if you pay with some hotel card. You also pay for all drinks.. which was little bit strange for me. Also internet... ahm, nope.. you dont have internet. Unless you call internet, opening page every 10mins and only at one spot in lobby. You can pay ofcourse or use a pc in the lobby. But nevertheless.. I think i can survive this:). Pool area is great, spatious, and yes enough sunbeds ( ok some people DID reserve the sunbeds with towels.. as usuall i assume), bt it was real oasis of peace. I don`t know how that is during july and august but this was real nerve calming. Overall niceeee

Hotel area is spacey, swimming pools with depth from 145 to 195 cm, never were crowdie, one for babies (35 cm depth) and jacuzzi. Sun beds number enough, nothing to complain.
We had junior suite room, about 40 sq. m, with big terrace/balcony nice bathroom, even bathrobes were for guests, in the 1st floor, close to swimming pools areas, and we thought it’s luck. After some days I convinced how I was wrong. Every second day music (frankly speaking not in my taste) was send by strong loud speakers directly to our windows till half to midnight. Because of my children it was simply unacceptable and I complain to reception desk. To not held too long story, was not easy to receive good solution, even twice I start thinking how we could survive or how I could got compensation for damaged vacations, but finally thanks to really best guy in the hotel (he was only one who defend four stars of the hotel as correct rank of service) Mr Agustis Carrillo we move to other room (exactly same type) in the part of the hotel building far from the pools, and everything with accommodation was in the best order. Anyway if you not come for the holidays after good rest before, you should be aware where your room will be.
Food very good, really vary, tasty - buffet and show cooking always as well. It’s really challenge not became fat after stay. No doubt, restaurant is one of the brightest point of the hotel.
Free WiFi access declared "at the public areas, no username and password required" is present also in some rooms but… the most popular sites are “browser cannot find the server” and “time out”, these two together have about 90% hits. Last 10% have amazing transfer speed about 1 MB per half a hour. So to be honest Internet access in the hotel is rather lie.
All inclusive service excellent, many international drinks included. Not very convenient necessity to sign the bill every time you make any order, but reason I think could be understood.

Reception staff excellent, attentive and courtous. Likewise restaurant staff also good but some of the bar staff perhaps could be a little more attentive. Best part of the hotel is the swimming pool area, spacious and not crammed in like sardines! Only down side is none of the pools have a shallow end which for kids is not ideal or for some adults for that matter. Kids club good but also crazy gold, ping pong and large chess kept the kids amouzed. Food in restaurent acceptable but if you are looking for culinary excellence you would be somewhat disappointed. Outside seating was great all be it limited. The standard rooms are very basis and were clearly kitted out on the cheap when the hotel first opened. This area the hotel really do need to pull their socks up if they are not to loose out to other more modern hotels of which there are plenty to choose from. That said rooms kept spotlessly clean. As for a return visit, I would not rule it out but neither would I rush back. Overall, a perfectly acceptable hotel some great points but in this day and age everything needs to be of a consistant standard. Come on H10 pull your finger out and spend some cash !! Don't be put off as we did have a nice holiday.

Booked this hotel fairly "last-minute". Having been to many H10 hotels around Europe and Mexico, we were fairly certain of what to expect. The hotel itself is very spacious, although it is showing signs of ware and tare. Most H10 hotels seem to have been updated of late, perhaps they haven't quite got round to doing this one yet. The rooms were fairly large with an equally large balcony. In the evening, the small light on the balcony did not quite provide enough light for reading, and as our room was in the corner we couldn't get much natural light. All in all, the rooms are pretty standard, and more than suitable for a week away.

The food at the Costa Adeje Palace was of very good quality. Although not the great selection of food as you can get at other H10 hotels (such as the Conquistador or the Rubicon Palace in Lanzarote) it was always hot, and regularly replenished. The attentive staff in the restaurant were always clearing up and spills, and constantly monitoring the food levels. Other reports on this website claim the staff are quite rude and abrupt, but we certainly did not find this. The staff, especially in the main restaurant, and on reception were more than helpful, whatever the time, and whatever the request. The A La Carte restaurant, 'La Tosca' was a most delightful change from the usual buffet restaurant. Although the food was a touch on the pricey side, you definetly got what you paid for. Most delicious, and excellently presented food. A certain recommendation.

The location of the hotel could be described as the hotel's only downside. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway, this hotel is perfect. The hotel is located right at the end of Costa Adeje. Outside the front entrance of the hotel is a small supermarket, reasonably priced, a fair sized café, and a couple of "touristy" shops. You have to walk around 30mins along the seafront before you reach any other shops or supermarkets. This is located near to the Playa Del Duque Hotel. There are several boutique shops, and a centre 'Paris'. Just further on up the hill is the Del Duque Plaza, full of high end designer shops and café's. There are also a couple of bars here, but the prices are more "luxury" than "bargain".

The pools at the hotel, not all heated, were surprisingly warm. There is an indoor pool which is heated, but there is a door charge for this as it is part of the Spa/Wellness area. If you upgrade to the privilege package this is included free, as well as dinig in the A La Carte restaurant. All in all, the Costa Adeje Palace is a great hotel. Definetly recommended if you want a relxing break, but if you are looking for a more active holiday, I would recommend a hotel nearer the centre of Costa Adeje, or Playa De Las Americas.

We had a good holiday, grounds are beautiful, plenty of sunbeds, lovely and clean hotel.
Food could have been slightly better, but not terrible. Entertainment same as all hotels just could have been better advertised around the hotel.
On the downside to far out. Do not be fooled the nearest stretch of bars was about a 30 minute walk from the hotel.

Mu husband and I planned a trip to Tenerife mostly to have a chance to see the island in where his paternal grandparents lived before migrating to Cuba, at the end of the 1800s.
We made a reservation for the H10 Costa Adeje Palace for 2 weeks, from May 19 to June 1st, using the company Venere, on the phone, to make the reservation for those days.
Then, after a few days in Tenerife, we realized that those were too many days for just one island, but before making any different plans than the initial one, we asked at the front desk of the hotel if it would be OK to cancel some days, go to Lanzarote and after Lanzarote then back to Tenerife for the last days in Canary Islands..
The young woman at the front desk said to us that as long as we gave them 48 hours of notice, it would be perfectly fine to cancel as many days as we would please.
Well, we determined to spend 4 days in Lanzarote, and decided to check out of the H10 Palace on May 25th for Lanzarote and come back on May 29th again to the H10 Palace, checking out for our return to USA on June 1st.
After having already the reservations for the flights to Lanzarote and from Lanzarote back toTenerife, and the reservation for the 4 nights at the H10 Timanfaya Hotel in Lanzarote, the same employee that did all those reservations for us, someone by the name of Saskia Genovart, informed us that unless Venere gave the written OK to H10 Costa Adeje Palace, they were not going to be able to cancel those 4 days and, citing her words "you will have to pay for those 4 days if you are here or not". Although that sounded very strange, I thought the best thing would be for me to call Venere and tell them about this situation., and I did. That was on a Friday, and the person on the other side told me that she would take note of that and not to worry. I checked then several times with Ms. Genovart if she had received anything from Venere and she, every time, said that she had not. Then, on the next Monday (we were scheduled to go to Lanzarote on Wednesday) I received an email from Venere telling me that after making the reservation with H10 Costa Adeje Palace, they had no power to make any changes and that those changes had to be made by me with the hotel, not Venere.
I took the BlackBerry to Ms. Genovart and simply showed her the Venere email. She read it and then, with a very fresh face, told me that then the only thing she needed to do was to get in touch with reservations in the hotel and tell them what Venere had said. Her punch line was "do not worry, you will not have to pay for those 4 nights anyway".

This woman, who obviously did not know any of the policies referring to cancellations the H10 Costa Adeje Palacel has, and who made me call Venere and spend time and time again trying to fix something that did not have to be fixed, behaved for 3 long days in a way that leave a lot to be desired. She made me waste my time with unnecesary calls to Venere and then, every time I went to her office to find out the status of the reservation, she behaved in a way that looked disrespectful to me, when in all reality she was the maker of that complete mess..

Our great luck was the trip to Lanzarote, where in the H10 Timfalaya Hotel we were treated professionally and respectfully, letting us see the other face of the Canary Islands, the nice face that we could not see in Tenerife thanks to the irresponsible Ms. Genovart.

A trip from upstate NY to Canary Islands is not a short one by any means and it is not a cheap one either. We expected more from that trip in the sense of the Tenerife hotel making our days there relaxing and easy. The way this employee handled something that was not complicated at all, the way she made of a simple process a long and complicated one, gave me the impression that the hotel management is not that interested in having USA customers.

For sure, they will never see us again and, for sure, we will not recommend the H10 Costa Adeje Palace to anybody and, on the contrary, we will advise them to think twice before planning a stay at this hotel where employees have no idea of how to treat customers in a professional way.

Very nice hotel, big and impressive building in front of the sea with large, cleaned and confortable rooms. Receptionists and all the staff are very kindly. Two very large swimming pools, pool towels supplied by the hotel (with a deposit that they give back at the check out), minigolf, miniclub, bar in the pool. Good breakfast and good dinner with various kind of meat, fish, shrimps, wok, vegetables, gazpacho, pizza and a good ice cream. Piano bar and theatre with evening music shows. Three shops and a hairdresser inside the hotel. In two minutes walk you can reach the nice playa del Duque and some chiringuito, bar, restaurants in front of the sea while in 10 minutes by car you reach Playa de las Americas with the Casino and several bar and restaurants. Tranquil and nice hotel where you have all the necessary for a pleasant holiday!
