“Reasonable for the cost”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 October 2011

We stayed for a week in Dec 2010 a few days before Christmas.

The complex is set over a few floors, each room had a good sized lounge, bedroom and bizarrely (for an all inclusive hotel), a kitchen area. It's fair to say the rooms are very dated, but at least they are clean and have a great sized terrace.

Food was served as a buffet. Each day there is a selection of salads, meat, fruit and desserts. Also there is a freshly cooked option - which was usually some kind of meat. We have had much better food from all inclusive resorts before. Some items were fairly cold, but there is a microwave if needed. But it was reasonable.

The hotel is a fair way from the beach - it will take you about 20mins to walk down. Some reviews suggest you need to cross a busy main road. This is true, however there is now a crossing point, so there should be no danger to anyone.

In the hotel complex there is one good sized pool, with a good all inclusive bar that offers every drink you can think of.

In conclusion the complex is clean and well kept - the rooms need updating and the food could be slightly improved, but for a week, and with the very reasonable prices, not a bad choice.

If you have booked to go here in the future, please ignore any bad reviews. We too were a bity wary before we arrived after reading some reviews. We had a fantastic holiday here. Weather was excellent, couldn't have asked for better. Room is lovely, cleaned and fresh towels every day. Food is very varied, it isn't perfect, but I wouldn't like to please hundreds of people with all different tastes. Staff are very hard workers, and very friendly too. Don't be put off by bad reviews, there's no pleasing some people, and your holiday is what you make it!!

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors have huge balconys.

Came back from here on sunday just gone - we are so missing it already - massive room - very clean beds made and floor mopped everyday - we slept better than we have done on any other holday - no banging doors or noise from upper floor ( we had ground floor appartment) - massive balcony and the beds were big twin beds and very comfy.the food was good - breakfast though to evening meal it was really good - the only thing i would say is that ice cream is not put out until 4-00 when its cake and coffee time but still a good choice and stocked up on a regular basis. water and tea and coffee machines for you to use free of charge - boltted water from the bar 2 euors so just keep filling bottle up !!- staff were brill - plenty to do all day if thats what you want - kids disco 8-30 every night (bless them - so entertaining ) dont forget whatever time of the year you go you will not be kid free - cant wait to got back again and we have not said this about a holiday for ages .

Room Tip: ask for a room the other side of reception

The hotel is lovely to look at and the staff are very helpful but there are downfalls. The hotel is on a hill - a good 15 mins from the beach if you walk and its all downhill. Not a problem in the morning but on the way back you have a large hill to climb. If you get a taxi, these can be quite expensive for a shortish journey!! It is also on the other side of a main dual carriageway and you have to cross over a main bridge to get anywhere. If you want to wander at night away from the hotel, there is not much around - at least a 10 min walk down the hill. The food is good BUT repetitive i.e. sometimes there is a fish night and if you dont like fish - you only have a couple of options. The soup is ALWAYS cold even if you are first in the queue. The entertainment is very repetitive. We were there for 2 weeks, saw a snake show for example on the Monday and the following Monday saw the same show. One big downfall was that even though we went fully inclusive you have to pay extra to watch the tv in your room and this is about £4 a day. My husband want to watch the rugby games and it cost us quite a bit more money. I thought fully inclusive meant just that!!! Another warning - you have to check out of your room by 12 noon - if you do not leave the hotel on the day of departure until 5.00 p.m. as we did, it would have cost us another 40 Euros to keep the room - we did not book the room, just the courtesy room which is a wet room only basis and very hot!!!! We will not be going back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Just don't go to the hotel.

We stayed only one night at this resort and that was enough. It is very basic and seems to cater for family budget holidays. The food was edible but only just and reminede us more of a very average works canteen. The room we had was partially closed off and in need of renovation. I suppose you get what you pay for and this was quite cheap.

Room Tip: Best to avoid if you can afford a little more money to be more comfortable
