This was our third visit to this hotel, always the same time of the year for birthday and anniversary
celebration, we were not disappointed. Room was!nt ready as we arrived early, but was sent to the bar for a free drink whilst we waited. Beautiful large room with sea view, big fluffy white toweling robes, food was fantastic, pleasant staff nothing to much trouble, we were on half board basis, cava and chocolates arrived to the room, free wifi, This hotel really knows how to treat its guests, We will be back.

Room Tip: Ask for a room over the pool

This to me was a beautiful hotel on arrival check in was quick easy and efficient...they even rent ipads from the check in and the hotel offered free wifi...the room was huge with a sofa area and large bathroom more than impressed i would recomend a room on the top floor as your near the roof top pool and the sun terrace...their is a nudist area at this hotel but it is soo discreet you wouldnt even know it was there...the area the hotel is in is very upmarket so if you want to go to playa de las americas a taxi is only about 8 euros and the hotel can book it for you..i would say costa adeje is a much nicer area and does have a few bars much nicer for couples and families...the food at the hotel was stunning cooking stations for steaks beef on a sunday!!! masive salad bar and fresh fish crab prawns calamari!!! i would definatly go back to this hotel it was a litle more than i normally pay...but after experiencing what you got i would definatly go back...i was more than happy.

Room Tip: higher rooms are a long walk to reception and dining hall but its worth it for the days where your c...

We checked into this hotel on 6th Nov and stayed for one week on an all inclusive basis.
After experiencing a poor 4 star hotel in Lanzarote in July - we were a little unsure of what to expect with this hotel and wondered if the standard had generally dropped on the Canaries.
Fear not....this hotel is great - good value for money, great location, friendly staff and good food.

Check in was smooth with lots of information about the hotel and it's all inclusive system given on arrival. We had paid extra for a room with a pool view - the view was a disappointment as all we could see was a palm tree! The room was large with plenty of storage it had a seating area and a large bathroom with a toliet seperated with a glass door. The shower was a bit pathetic as it wouldn't stay in the upright position.

The hotel upholds it's 'no reserving of sunbeds' rule - this is fantastic as at 10am the sunbed police go round and take towels off of sunbeds where no one is laying so there is always space.
It's funny to watch too when the 'culprits' return.

All inclusive - We had no complaints with regards to the all inclusive on offer. (there are some on this website) You are not entitled to have all the drinks on the bar menu but there is a fair choice. If you want premium drinks you have to pay a supplement - quite simple really.
House wine in the restaurant is quite drinkable, you do get a whole bottle but if you don't drink it they will pop the cork back in and you can finish it the following day.

Food - the buffet is vast. I am a fairly fussy eater but there was only one evening when I struggled to find something I fancied. Salad and fruit is plentiful and so tasty.
Mexican night was probably the best and if all else fails the pasta man will cook fresh pasta to order.
We felt that the restaurant ran like clockwork, considering how many people they are catering for it was well organised, we hardly ever waited for a table and food was replenished regularly.
Make sure you order a fresh omlette in the morning - the chef can cook up to six at a time!!
Our only critism would be that the coffee delivery can be hit and miss and when you get it, it can be cold!!
The hotel is clean and the reception areas imposing - the hotel does show signs of water damage in places but I don't feel that has any negative effect on your holiday.

The hotel is in a really good location as it is far enough away from shops and bars to be quiet but you can walk to them and the beach if you wish.
Costa Adeje has lots of lovely, expensive designer shops but also the tacky rip off merchants - beware we were caught and bought counterfeit tobacco!!

Would definately retun to this hotel - not quite a 5 star but a definate good 4 star.

Room Tip: We stayed in 264 which is supposed to have a pool view but all you can see is a palm tree!

We were staying with another couple so we decided to book the double bedroom Imperial Suite, upon arrival we were met by very friendly and efficient staff, when we got to our room we were very please with the size and layout of the suite, once in the door we an entrance hall with doors leading to both the bedrooms and a very large lounge with a tv, dining area and lounge area. It also had two sets of French windows leading to twin balconies. The balconies met and had a spiral staircase leading to the roof, once on the roof we found a private deck with four sun loungers and a hot tube, It also had great views from all sides. Back to the bedrooms, both are completely private with large bathrooms with twin sinks, toilet room with bidet and a shower/bath with whirlpool. Each bedroom has either large bed or twin beds, sofa, tv and separate balcony with table and chairs.
The hotel has very nice facilities and restaurants and bars are very friendly with great food. We stayed fully inclusive and found all the food to be very nice and the options for the inclusive drinks was very good with little limitations.
This is our second visit to the hotel and on both times we have been served very well, the hotel is always very clean and never too busy.

Room Tip: Definitely chose a room with a pool view, the hotel is shaped like a large "U" surrounding...

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks and had a great holiday. Our room was excellent - a good size and very comfortable and well equipped. The staff at the hotel were all very pleasant and helpful. The food was also excellent with plenty of choice, something for everyone. Plenty of loungers and parasols at the pools and the roof top pool is great with stunning views. We were celebrating our Ruby Wedding anniversary and received a lovely bottle of bubbly and chocolates on arrival which was very much appreciated! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We paid a little extra for a pool/sea view which was worth it!

We spent 2 weeks at the Costa Adeje Gran Hotel at the end of November. It was a really enjoyable experience. All the staff are courteous, friendly and efficient. The food is plentiful and of good quality. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. The views from the rooftop pool area are magnificent with the sea and La Gomera in one direction and the mountains in the other direction. We have seen some adverse comments about the dining experience but in the main our view was that it was caused by guests rushing about to get food. If you stroll around and see what there is on offer (catering is for various nationalities and may not all be to English taste) it is enjoyable and equal to what you get in the restaurants nearby. I would recommend this hotel and would be happy to re-visit. The brilliant weather we enjoyed in late November was a bonus.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at this very nice Hotel, we found the staff very pleasant and helpful. The entrance has a certain wow factor as you go in but we soon felt at home. We had a suite on an all inclusive basis which turned out to be a bit of a bonus since we found out that the excellent A la Carte restaurant was available to us without paying the usual €14 pppn supplement. We ate there every night except Weds and Thurs when the restaurant is closed. We tried the Buffet on one evening but personally we found it a bit too large and busy for us, preferring a more intimate environment, although the food choice is very good. We found lunchtimes more pleasant. The other evening we took a very nice stroll down to Playa del Duque with several nice places to dine can be found. Whilst this is a 10 minute walk down a hill with the return trip to consider, we did not find it too taxing as a couple well in to middle age. There is a Taxi rank for those less able.
They do great Picnic lunch boxes if you are out for the day(book the day before), we found one each was too much for us!
There is a good variety of entertainment with different acts each evening in the Showroom and Lobby Bar until midnight. There are several other Bars just along from the hotel and a Supermarket for those little extras. This was our first trip to Tenerife and loved it. All in all we had a fantastic week and would return again.

Room Tip: If your budget can stretch to it go for a suite, we had a corner one with two balconies.
