So this was my 3rd visit here but 1st time with the boys aged 10, 7, 5 & 2. Once again love the hotel an the repairs an changes that have been made r fantastic, although to me it seems as if the animation team r a but stretched. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the week here, the staff from cleaners to bar staff always made a fuss of them and made them feel special. We are a family of 6 an we worried about meal times, but we found the whole week to run smoothly never a problem to find a table an there was always something for all of us to enjoy. All of my boys LOVED the mini disco, it's a shame it's only half hour though. I wouldn't hesitate to take my kids back here again in a heart beat, we loved it an they loved it! We have come away with so many memories ! The hotel is gorgeous, rooms r big an kept immaculately clean. We never had a problem finding sunbeds either. Pool areas lovely the kids loved spending time swimming. We had so many compliments about how well behaved are children are, I really believe they were good because they were so happy an never bored an that was down to the hotel! If ur looking for a hotel that is family friendly, gorgeous, relaxed, clean and just all round lovely to stay in then the Costa Adeje Gran is the place to go. We will be back !! X

Just arrived back fro this great hotel in Tenerife where we spent a nice relaxing week bed and breakfast only, Our transport picked us up from the airport and took over an hour dropping other people off at their hotels on the way, was thinking to myself at the time that i hope our hotel is better than this and that, was not to be dissapointed when we finall arrived at the Costa Adeje Gran Hotel with its drive in entrance for the bus, a huge expance of floor to ceiling glazing and a marble foyer which is the size of a football field, Our rooms were huge and very clean and tidy, i stayed once at the Beverly Hilton in LA and this room was far superior to this by a long shot. Room staff were in every day to make your beds up and tidy up for you, new bedding and towels are available every day should you wish but if you want to be green we foud getting them changed halfway through the week was suffice. The restaraunt staff were very friendly and courteous and always seemed to find you a table regardless of how busy the place was, All in was an exceptional hotel and also managed to get a great deal on the price as well, shop around bargains can be had for this grea hotel.

Room Tip: Our room was close to some plant that must have filtered the swimming pool so there was a constant h...

Stayed for a week end of April, hotel spotless, rooms large and very clean. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room so I was glad I took my travel kettle and tea bags. Towelling robes were a bonus! No problems round the pool endless sun beds available although the water was cold. Situated a fair bit up the hill from the front, would not be ideal for disabled people but we a managed to walk up and down every day. Restaurant was too busy found the food not very hot and dried up unless you wanted to wait in a queue for them making pasta or grilling meat. One morning at breakfast the sausages were not cooked in the middle still raw. We found this a few times with the food. Can't say we were impressed with the food and struggled towards the end of the week to find something to eat that we liked. Don't think it merits 5 star should be 4. The cost of eating in the other restaurant at 15 euros per person we did not entertain. The restaurant and food were the let down for us so not sure if we would return.

Good Hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. Built in 1970 and some parts are old and jaded , Very large and took a few days to find your way around, a bit confusing, but on the whole a pleasant stay. Beach is a 15 minute walk downhill, therefore the same back uphill but good shops and restaurants nearby.

Room Tip: Ours on the 2nd floor, needed updating.

We have stayed at this hotel many times but gave it a miss for the Costa del sol and other hotels in Tenerife over the last few years and went back recently as we have not enjoyed anywhere else as much as the Adeje Gran hotel.
It had been getting a bit dated decor wise but we were pleased to see the rooms have been freshened up and the hospitality and service is as good as ever.
Other hotels are more modern but we prefer the quality and choice of food in the buffet restaurant at this hotel, dining times are always busy but you never feel rushed and there is plenty of room at the tables so you don't feel crowded in.
They are happy to keep your bottle of wine chilled over night , ( we found other hotels refuse to do this ) so if like us only one of you is drinking and you don't take much then nothing is wasted.
Because we had been before the staff had a note of this and we had a complimentary mini bar, chocolates and a huge bowl of fruit on our arrival, these are the little things that can make you feel special and it is a nice touch, there are also robes in the bedrooms and a fridge where you can keep your drinks cold.
The bedrooms are spacious and spotless with clean towels daily and more if required.
The pool area is very clean and there are always plenty of sun beds ( these have also been replaced and are now more comfortable), There is no charge for pool towels, other hotels have charged us 1 euro a day per towel!
One of the pools had a leak but they were working on it when we arrived and you could still use it but the other pool is big enough for everyone so it didn't spoil the enjoyment.
The entertainment was good a couple of nights but could have been better on the other nights but I haven't been at a hotel yet who has brilliant acts every night.
There are plenty of great walks either from the hotel through El Dulque to La Caletta ( evenings are great for watching the sunset here) or the other direction from Fanabe to Los Cristianos and there are loads of beach bars and restaurants where you can stop for a drink to watch the world go by.
There are great shopping centres near the hotel and you have the choice of the designer shops or the cheaper tourist types,
The hotel is 5 minutes walk from El Duque beach but because it is away from the main family attractions at Las Americas you find there are not so many families with young children so if you like a quieter hotel it is ideal although as Adeje gets more popular we did find more families than previously staying there.
The staff are very nice and all speak good English and we will probably not leave it so long next time to go back.

Room Tip: I would recommend paying the extra for a pool view as you don't know where you will be placed an...

We stayed at this hotel in October on a all inclusive basis and we couldn't have asked for more. The hotel and staff are amazing. The restaurant is busy but staff always make sure they get you a table on arrival and the food is nice and plenty to choose from.Evening entertainment wasn't bad either,we would enjoy a couple of the Costa Adeje cocktails then have a walk down the road to a little roadside bar next door. There was always plenty of sunbeds and the rooftop pool is fab and I've since heard that there is now a bar up there too, saves going all the way down for drinks and back up.Will definitely be going back to this hotel.Thankyou to all the staff :))

This hotel is beautiful! We are currently here, when we arrived we were upgraded to a pool view - no extra charge. We are only b&b but have used the pool bar which is good. Rooms are spotless, large & very comfortable. Staff are very pleasant & helpful. Breakfast is really good, loads to choose from. Can't understand anyone who has been moaning about this hotel!
