“Lovely Hotel”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

Just returned from a weeks holiday at this Iberostar, what a great place, the position of the hotel in Costa Adeje is just great. Lively when you want it to be and quiet when you need it to be. I travelled with my two Sisters, we are all in our 50's and found the hotel to be perfect for us. There are so many sun beds, although people do still put their towels on them hours before they actually lay on them... the food was really varied, something different on offer every day, the staff in the restaurant were just lovely, so helpful, they seem to work around the clock! One evening there was a chocolate fountain and strawberries for dessert, lots of choice.
We all felt that the service and food were excellent.
The only thing that would have made our holiday better, would have been for the sun beds to be cushioned, as they were rock hard to lay on around the pool. It would be good if there were pads on offer to guests to hire if necessary. We all suffered bad backaches our entire stay.
But that said, all in all, the Iberostar is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, which says a lot as we have previously stayed in some wonderful Fairmont Hotels in Canada and America and they are 5* so we will definately be returning to the Iberostar in Tenerife.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone, and when they get round to completing the refurbishments it will be even better.

Room Tip: Ask for a high up room as anything on floor 1 not good... dont bother with sea view rooms as we had...

A hotel in transition . We unfortunately we're put on the fifth floor when we arrived , a floor below the building work . We had been told by Thomas Cook this would not happen . Shame on them . The hotel moved us after three days to a room on the second floor . I would like to thank the hotel staff and management for the effort they put in to make our holiday great . Everyone of the staff went the extra mile to make us feel welcome , Francisco in the dining room , was a star . He made sure we had our gluten free bread every breakfast time . Full marks to him .
Thomas Cook rep at hotel very poor .
Will go back to see the completed building work . Worth a visit

We had a weeks break here from 27th April , fantastic location , hotel is kept spotlessly clean pools lobbies rooms.
We had thought about upgrading room due to it being very tired and worn looking, but decided not to , as we wouldn't be in it during day. Hopefully we will return and be able to see the refurbishing when completed . Food was lovely and the staff most welcoming and friendly .

What a Fabulous Hotel, This is the first time I've ever stayed in a Iberostar Hotel. From start to finish the whole holiday experience has been excellent. Staff in the hotel would go out of your way to help you with anything. Room service every day, a very clean hotel with food being 5star quality with so much to choose from it was out of this world. 2 swimming pools was great, with the larger pool being over 20metres it was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel and would come back anytime!!!

This is my first visit to Tenerife and I chosed this hotel for its location which did not disappoint, it's very close to the beach, plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, also lots of supermarkets and shops. Las Americas is not that far away, we have walked there a couple of times via the promenade by the sea. If you're not up for walking then there are choices of manual or electric bikes for hire, we had great fun travelling with electric scooters with seats on our last day. Now onto the hotel, my husband and I were greeted with a refreshing non-alcohol cocktail upon arrival. Our room was spacious but would say outdated. Although we had booked a double sea-view room, we were given a twin room which faced the hotel next door, we could see the sea to our left but it was not what we had expected, so to say it was our wedding anniversary holiday treat, it wasn't so special. We didn't make a complaint because we felt that we should be given what we had booked and not having to ask again when we got there! Also, I agree that the rooms do lack socket points and a full length mirror, maybe on the outside wall of the bathroom would be a plus. The hotel throughout is very clean, the restaurant is big with plenty of food choice. A waiter by the name of Domingo is always very cheerful and makes dining there very pleasant and enjoyable. Although we didn't spend any time at the entertainment room, the team is seen around the hotel and they always greet you with a cheerful smile. The pool area is kept very clean with plenty of sunbeds. We went half board and usually we go exploring the rest of the resort after breakfast and return later on in the afternoon and we haven't had problems getting sunbeds together. Overall, we had a pleasnt stay. Would we return to this hotel again? Yes, possibly as it is in a great location and not too noisy. This hotel caters for people of all ages and is also wheelchair friendly.

This 4 star hotel is near the beach in the Tenerife resort of Costa Adeje is ideal for families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday. The hotel itself is undergoing a refurbishment but we never heard any noise of work being carried out, but we did see workmen in the hotel. The rooms are basic but larger than we normally have and are cleaned daily. Clean towels are also left daily. There are 3 pools with one being for young children. If you are going with a group ie stag parties etc. forget it . The hotel does not tolerate rowdy behaviour as was demostrated to group of spanish boys who were told to leave after one day.Bars and restaurants are very close by and offer cheap drinks and decent food. Be aware you have to run the gauntlet of PR people some are quite insistent and can be a bit intimidating. Would we go back to this resort and hotel? You bet!

Room Tip: Try to get a sea view if possible. Even the first floor has fab views of the sea to one side and mou...

First time in Tenerife so was really looking forward to going. On arrival we were greeted with a cocktail we arrived round about 1.30pm unfortunately my room wasn't ready but was with my sister so we put our cases in her room. We got our keys to the room roundabout 4pm but when we opened the door there was a workman in there fixing our curtains so we had to hang around for another 10 mins. With that aside we had a really good time the staff were ever so friendly and the entertainment
team work so hard and put on really good shows there is a lot of older couples that go to the hotel as it has a large dance floor and they enjoy there old time dancing as it's not my cup of tea and there was no shows on in the hotel them nights me and my husband sometimes went out as there is a few bars just located outside the hotel which are really good. Would go again to the hotel but maybe July august time . Only thing i was disappointed with was when we handed in our keys to checkout at 11.30am they couldn't wait to cut our wristbands off ( all inclusive band ) , they state that you can only have your bands on day of departure till 12 noon we were not getting picked up to leave until 2.00pm so was a bit annoyed they didn't let us have the bands till 12 so please be aware if you have a late departure your bands will be cut off at 12 noon or in out case when we handed in our keys
