“Nice hotel in great location”

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel which is in a great location.

The room was nice, clean and had an amazing sea view.

We ate out at nights but found that the food was good, with plenty of choice at breakfast and lunch.

We spent each day by the pool and had no trouble finding a lounger.

All staff at reception, bars and in the restaurant were helpful and efficient. We also enjoyed animation during the day.

Unfortunately we had to spend our first night in another hotel as some of the rooms in la nina had been damaged during a recent storm. However we were upgraded to the premium drinks package and also received a lovely fruit and wine platter on our first night at the hotel which was much appreciated.

We would definitely consider staying here again if we book another trip to tenerife.

we have just returned from this hotel and overall a good holiday and hotel, hotel was lovely staff very friendly, food there was choices every night but we found not piping hot, there was a microwave if needed, Room were cleaned every day, very good location. towels had to pay to change if required 1 euro per towel, would return again.

What a great place with lovely staff. Food was nice, rooms spotless and the hotel perfect. One thing you will notice, is how clean the place is. Credit to the housekeeping team......spotless and not a spot of dust anywhere. This place is polished....literally, you will love it!!!

Excellent location, close to beach, shops, bars and restaurants.
Ideal to walk into the hectic Playa de las Americas but also for the quieter more select Playa Fanabe and del Duque.
Food is excellent with great choice and something for everyone.
Hotel clean and well kept.
We opted for the premium all incl drinks package because I thought it would include cocktails but they were extra, having said that they are only €1.50 extra but I wouldn't have got the premium package had I realised the only benefit was drinking Smirnoff rather than a local brand of vodka.
There wasn't a lot of choice on the premium brands.
The hotel staff were really helpful and very friendly.
The only downside was that the entertainment could have been better, it was very hit and miss and we found ourselves venturing out for 3 of our 7 nights otherwise we would have been bored and when you've paid for all inclusive you don't really want to be going out spending money on drinks.
All in all the hotel is great and we will definitely being returning.

Room Tip: If you are travelling with children ask for a brick wall balcony, if travelling with out children as...

Just back from a one week all inclusive stay. Had a brillant time. Hotel is in a great place just a short walk away from beach.Rooms are very spacious and spotless clean. Food was fantastic. Staff were all extremely friendly . Pool area was always busy , but we tended to go to the beach everday as it is such a short walk . Cannot not really comment on the entertainment as again we never seen it. Costa adeje is a wonderful place cannot wait to go back.

Just got back from a 5 day break in this hotel. First the plus points, the staff were very friendly, food was good quality and the location of the hotel is perfect. Close to the beach and surrounded by shops and bars so plenty to do. Our room was kept spotless, the standard of cleaning was very high.
The only downside to our trip was our room. We upgraded to a superior room (junior suite as described by the hotel) the highest standard of room at the accomodation. We were allocated Room 211 which is actually two floors below reception. We assumed that our room would have a sea-view as we had paid more than for a sea-view room but we could only see a tiny sliver of sea through the buildings of an adjacent hotel. Our room was right on the edge of the hotel overlooking a walkway to the beach, above an internet shop and backing onto the restaurant. Although the size of the room was impressive it was looking a bit tired and sparsely furnished. We had a tiny balcony which received no direct sunlight. The jacuzzi bath was nice but whenever we had a shower the water went everywhere as there was no seal under the shower screen, it was a daily flood. The shower and hair-dryer both stopped working but these were quickly fixed once reported.
We told reception when we arrived that we weren't happy with the room but were told that there were no other suites available for a couple of days, as we were only there for 5 days we decided to stay in the room we had. On the plus side it was very quiet.
Although the room was bigger than normal it didn't live up to its billing as a suite in a 4 star hotel. I wouldn't make such a big thing of it if we hadn't paid extra, if we had been allocated the room as a standard room it would have been fine.
If I went back to the hotel I wouldn't bother upgrading to a suite but I would upgrade to a sea-view room which seem to be on the higher levels.
The trip hasn't put me off returning to the hotel as there are plenty of positives, if we'd had a better room it would have been a great holiday instead of a good one.

We stayed at the La Niña over half term and thought it was an excellent establishment. My girlfriend and I have traveled to tenerife many times, and are very familiar with the hotels in the south of the island. Firstly the central location of the hotel is good, you can walk with ease to most amenities and 'watering holes' from here. There is a well serviced taxi rank outside the front of the hotel, inexpensive and lots of them. The hotel itself is modern, very clean and has all the facilities you would expect from a 4* hotel. We arrived at about 8.30 pm and greeted by the most helpful reception staff, check in took minutes and we were un packed and sat down for dinner by 9.00.

The rooms
Cleaned spotlessly daily with fresh towels (if required)
Safe.. €18 + €10 deposit
Tv €10 returnable deposit for controller. Mix of channels, although could do with maybe sky news as bbc world is a bit naff.
Bathroom, well appointed, with good fittings and nice hot shower.

Restaurant
Very good selection of food throughout the day, each night they have a different theme. You won't go hungry, the choice is great. We tried different wines each night and there is a good selection for a small premium, as the staff got to know us they made some recommendations on the red wine and it was spot on. The staff in the restaurant are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, our regular waiter kleifer was a top guy and a real asset to the hotel.

Pool area
Contrary to other reports, we had no problem in getting a sun bed.
Pool is adequate, ideal for a holiday splash about.
Pool bar is really good, a social place. Great for people watching. :-) we all love that.
Usual games each day, shooting, darts, boules, etc etc.. Lots of fashion shows.

Evening entertainment
Each night the animation staff do some stuff for the kids early on, this is followed by a 'variety' act. Each night is different, some good some just odd but entertaining all the same. The later on acts are brought in and as I say ok. The stage area could do with an up date as the lighting is not very good. The bar staff are quick and helpful, give the pig a tip!!!

Health club
Only used it on the day we checked out for a shower but it was clean and well kept. Nice towels and again friendly staff.

Overall it's a great place to stay, clean and well kept. The staff are amongst the nicest I have met, and that speaks volumes about how they are managed. I would have no hesitation in staying here again and would recommend the be live La Niña to stay at. It always makes me laugh on here the faults people can find with hotels while on holiday, I think they forget they are on holiday.. Enjoy!!!!
