First visit to this island and we loved the location and hotel.
good location as near the beach and plenty of shops near by. Bus station next door and found the market sets up next door on a weekly basis. Great for shoppers and bargain hunters!

Good food choice and rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and polite. However did find our room facilities a little dated and did need some things replacing comparing it to the rest of the hotel and decor. The hotel had plenty of activities and facilities. Rooftop is a great location - but you need to be quick as space fills up quickly.

Found a lot more older people in the hotel - but it could be to do with the location and time of year. But if you like harmony and relaxation then this is ideal.

There were activities on for all ages.
Definitely recommend this.

Just returned from the Fanabe Costa Sur
Lovely place to stay. Great location. Spotless and all the staff work very hard. Requested sea view before arrival and our wish was granted fantastic view from our room which was spacious and had an extremely comfortable King Size Bed. Food excellent spoilt for choice! Appreciated the bottle of bubbly and card hand delivered to our room on my husband's 50th birthday Thank you. Looking forward to a return visit!

If some would go back to stay at a hotel that says alot to us, and we would stay at Fanabe again, heres why.
A long earned break for my Wife, and two daughters, 11months and 15yrs and myself. At the same time my parents were meeting us there for a week while on their winter vacations.
A short taxi ride from airport, 23 euro, and we arrived at a very well kept hotel. Reception were very good and got us to our room quickly. Everything we asked for was there including a good cot for baby. The room was compact but very adequate, clean not falling apart. The staff had made a nice elephant out of towels on bed and this continued quite often with added sweets! The beds, most important to me were great, no springs poking out, supportive and easy to get a good sleep on.
Bathroom was spot on for us, easy to get baby to bath, shower fantastic, twin sinks and clean towels everyday.
We opted for half board for the week and glad we did. The food choice was spot on at both breakfast and dinner. As always when there is so much good food on offer you tend to over eat and we did, never needing midday snacks. My parents both enjoyed the food very not needing to escape to another resturant. I must mention the resturant staff and give them top marks for friendlyness and service. My baby enjoyed their attention very much. Thanks everyone.
Theres a fair bit to do around the hotel, usual bar, music and stuff were popular with half the guests, kids area downstairs with small sotf play and of course the pool. Once youve sussed where the sun is best you get sun most the day but it did get busy even in February. Liked it very much but missed a splash pool for the younger ones.
Hotels very nicely situated, ten min walk to front where theres a nice walk, close to the many shops and resturants. Our african friends do patrol the area selling sunglasses and usual trash, avoid them and all is fine! Beaches are good, we prefered the less touristy beach by el duque castle by paris shopping centre.
If your into you running/ cycling at all its a good area, easy to find intresting and challenging areas.
There, thats about it, enjoyed, kids were always happy except when we left.
Thanks all at Fanabe Costa Sur.

Room Tip: Rooms on ground floor easily accessable for wheelchairs, buggies. Never found it noisy. If we went...

Having been to Tenerife at least 15 times over the years (my son is now 18) and used our timeshares ... we got rid of those and chose a package deal this time. This is one of our favourite areas (Los Christianos a close second). Not disappointed! Yes - it is definitely a 4 star hotel (didn't agree with those reviewers who said is was only 3 ish). Gym, spa, tennis court, bicycle hire, mini golf etc. etc. I think the beige-grey paint on the outside made it look rather dull and gave the wrong impression at first sight. BUT perfectly placed - and if you don't want to go down that steepish hill just turn left at the second roundabout and that gets you into the heart of the area. No complaints about the "bun fight" i.e. the restaurant - all the staff were excellent. so all in all a great time was had by all - although the lack of school children during half-term was unusual but I thoroughly enjoyed the company of the over 50s who crowded out the Piano Bar every evening ...

Room Tip: I emailed for a room on "the sunnyside" as suggested by others and got it!

It isn't in the most attractive part of Costa Adeje nor is the hotel the best designed building you've ever seen.So why the 5 stars? We went last week which was half term in England and we thought the hotel might be full of youngsters. It was but the youngsters seemed content around the pool while for old dodderers, like myself, the roof is a haven with a nice bar,sun loungers to soak up the sun in absolute peace and quiet and dream of yesteryear.
It's a very old fashioned hotel (witness the cathode ray tube TVs in the bedrooms) but the staff incorporate those old fashined qualities which are universally admired:hard work and ,more importantly, courteous.
From start to finish we were treated like royalty.
Nice holiday.Nice resort.Nice hotel.

I travelled on 13th Feb with my wife and 2 year old son. I planned it as a birthday gift to my wife (13th Feb) and a Valentine's Day. Our hoilday kicked-off in a grand style as the hotel have a left a nice bottle of champagne for my wife with a personal birthday note. We were very impressed by this gesture but below comment is not influenced with this.

The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the beach and we found Costa Adeje to be very beautiful, esp the walk (turning right) by the beach.

Spacious, comfortable and clean bedrooms, nice balcony with the view of swimming pool and enough sunbeds, although one side of the sunbeds by the pool area have restricted sun after 2-3 pm. A very good selection for breakfast despite slight queue for Omelettes, live entertainment in the Bar, good value for dinner, although we only had dinner once in the hotel. Children's indoor and outdoor play area was good enough to have my little one occupied and there were few activities by the pool are during the day like Free Sangriya making class etc to keep us adults entertained.

This hotel is a good value for money and we will certainly return to Costa Adeje when we will surely look at staying at this hotel again.

We spent our first night here travelling by bus from the airport. It is a typical resort hotel but not really my cup of tea. The entrance to the hotel was linked to the bar area which was blasting 60/70/80s music.

Our room was spacious, clean and well laid out overlooking the pool. Like all the rooms we stayed in this trip the 'double' is two beds pushed together and made up as separate beds. They were on casters so say no more! If we return to Tenerife this is something I would check before booking.

The all in breakfast was expansive. The dining area busy. The serving systems seemed fine unless you wanted bespoke eggs there was a queue here.

It served ok as a stop over but not somewhere I would personally choose for an extended stay.
