Hotel Lounge is very uncomfortable. The bar service both in the lounge area and pool bar is very slow. If you like walking this is the area to stay but don,t expect to be comfortable in your room or any other area of the hotel. It desperately needs updating. You do not expect to find pool tables and slot machines right next to the bar area. If you go in January there is no sun around the pool but ther is plenty of sun and space up on the roof. The nudist area is seperate to the conventional bathing area.

The food is disgustingly tasteless and repepative and really greasy.

A fifteen minute walk will take you to Adeje beach which is very pretty with its own promenade.

Thank you for your comments.

We inform you that we are a 4 star hotel, and that all our Hotel areas have been renovated in 2004. In our consideration the Hotel has got a lot of comfortable areas, and of course the distribution of the rooms are like they are, taking into consideration the maximum comfort of our guests during their stay.

Of course we try to improve our services day by day and there are always areas to improve, but we don’t think that our food is disgusting, and most of our clients are very happy with it, but as we mentioned priory, there are always things to improve.

Kind regards,

The FAÑABÉ CosTaSuR Staff

Just come back from a fantasic 14 nights at the Fanabe and we are looking to book again for the same time next year. The Hotel was brilliant, the staff were really friendly and would do anything for you. We checked in no problem at all but did ask if we could move rooms as the one we were given didnt have much of a view from the balcony, we have a small child so we use the balcony a lot once shes in bed we take our books and sit out there. We got our room moved straight away no problem and got a lovely pool view. Ian the entertainment guy is brilliant and always has something to do, if you dont want to be by the pool all day. The kids club staff are really good and there is a kids disco 9 til 9.30 everynight which my 3 year old loved. The food was really good always two meats cooked fresh for you amongst a wide variety of other things, steaks cooked to perfection, the salad is lovely, im vegetarian and often i find hotel food a bit poor but not here, pastas, pizza, veg lasagne to name a few things, in fact it was that good i think ive come home a good half a stone heavier! The only thing i will say is that the restaurant staff dont speak good english, it took us about 5 minutes to work out that the lady wanted our card to mark the day off for the food.
The hotel is lovely and clean, cleaned everyday plus fresh towels for the room everyday. There is also the facility to hire towels for the pool, you have to leave a 10 euro deposit per towel, each day once you have used your towels you exchange them for a clean one and at the end of the holiday you get your 10 euro back.
The hill that is mentioned in some reviews really isnt that bad at all we didnt struggle with a pushchair and there is alternative routes.
The only negative i would mention is that at busy times there is a bit of a fight for sunbeds, the first week we were there was very busy at at 9 when the pool opened there was a mad dash to see who could get their towels down first. The most anoying thing was that quite a few people would reserve the sunbeds and not use them, in my opinion i think if a bed hasnt been used for over an hour the towels should be moved for others to use. There is signs up saying that the lifeguard will remove towels but this was never carried out. We noticed this more as only one side of the pool got the sun (time of year i think) so there was a shortage of sunbeds in the sun. The second week we were there was much better as it was a lot quieter and hardly anyone reserved beds. I would definatly recommend this hotel to anyone going out to tenerife, i cant wait to go back.

we stayed here for my birthday, thought we would try fanabe for a change. upon arrival we were told the room wasn't ready but wouldn't be long, 2 hours later we finaly got into our room, no complimentary drinks, nothin, the room was very nice, clean and tidy but was located over the bins at the side of the complex, it stank of the bins. went down for evening meal to find it full of older germans ang russians who were very rude. Dont just sit at a table as we did becouse as there was only 2 of us and we sat at a table for 4 ,one of the waitors very rudely pulled the tables appart trapping my girlfriends leg without an appology, THE FOOD WAS AWFULL you could have soled your shoe with the steak.
Next morning I was looking over the balcony by the bins looking at a van pulling out brown cabbage which I thought was being disposed of, to my shock it was being delivered and on the menue that evening was cabbage soup, who the hell eats cabbage soup ? At that i insisted we be moved to another hotel.
Avoid this hotel if you have your own teeth it was obviously geared towards pentioners.

Pretty much every aspect of this hotel is spot-on; the attitude of the staff especially is faultless - nothing is too much trouble, and everything is greeted with a smile.
The rooms are spacious and clean (and kept that way each day), and ours was relativley quite at night (we were in a room on the second floor, overlooking the pool).
The restaurant food is varied and of consistently high quality.
We opted for half board, and in terms of value for money I would recommend this option - restaurant dining away from the hotel, to the same standard as the hotel food would be a significant expenditure.
The location is very central within Costa Adeje, with the beach around 500m walk away, and the shopping area at Plaza Playas del Duque about the same. A market is held on Thursdays next to the hotel, and there are many other smaller shops dotted around.

We were thoroughly impressed with the standard of the cleanliness of this hotel and the staff were exceptionally friendly and could not do enough to ensure our stay was enjoyable from the moment we arrived. The food was varied and of a high standard, something for everyone!!

I would certainly return to this hotel in the future and I would not hesitate in recommending it to family and friends.

Close to beach, there is a hill, but there are alternative routes, which will avoid the worst of any hill.

Bus station around the corner from the hotel, regular service and drivers helpful.

Siam Park is a must-although shop around for best price!

In all a great break from the UK weather!!
