We stayed here from 2nd to the 9th of December, our room was very nice and was kept immaculate during our stay, evening entertainment was, in the main, very enjoyable apart from the Abba tribute which was a joke! Our only reservation was the dining room, food was ok but the queues were terrible, it appears that the hotel has far to many guests for the dining room to comfortably accommodate, all of the staff were very polite and most obliging, for the main part the hotel was good.

.We spent a great relaxing week at this hotel in late November. It was good value for money, half board and we had so much at breakfast we hardly ever ate at lunchtime. Dinner was varied with plenty of choice with an excellent quality roast available every night if you wanted rather than a good selection of continental dishes, fish, pasta and other meat dishes, even smoked salmon and king prawns on occasions.
Our room was spacious with a king size double bed a good size bathroom, a bacony with sea view of the harbour and beach. The best rooms seem to be high, we were on the third floor of four. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the entertainment was exceptionally good, all professional varied acts not in house staff.
Nice beach with chairs and shades at 15 euros a day for two chairs and a shade although there were plenty of chairs around the hotel pool area which overlooked the beach and a lift down to the beach to save walking. You can walk for over 8 kilometers along the prom which is a very pleasant coastal walk, for a leasurely stroll.
Just a few minor niggles, if you want to use the fridge in your room a charge of 4 euros a day is made and to use wifi in reception costs 20 euros a week, many hotels now provide this free, although there were computers available for use at 1 euro for 10 mins.
Overall a very enjoyable holiday

Room Tip: High room overlooking pool/beach

We went to this hotel for our honeymoon and weren't disappointed. Beautiful hotel, friendly and super efficient staff, excellent location. Rooms cleaned every day and hotel spotless. Rooms comfortable and nice. A couple of down points but nothing major - dinner/breakfast was hectic and we found it difficult to enjoy our dinner especially and relax as so noisy and busy but I guess this is just the way it is. We went out for a dinner a few nights so we could relax and enjoy our dinner.

We found our hotel was more catered for older people but had expected this at this time of year. We did feel the odd time that those of the older generation were served and given priority over us but it didn't bother us that much.

Rooms on the lower floor can be quite noisy if you weren't at the live entertainment as we found one night when we were in before 12.

We didn't sample the entertainment as we preferred to go out and about but certainly a good variety each night. Drinks in the hotel can be expensive depending on what you drink. My husband drinks Jack Daniels which was 6 euros and 2.20 euros for a coke to mix it with......certainly cheaper elsewhere!

We were slightly disappointed that the hotel didn't acknowledge our honeymoon but believe this was Thomsons rather than the hotel.

All in all a good hotel and worth the money.

Just had one week here 23 Nov - 30th Nov, we were on the 2nd floor 2017( very confusing numbering of floor system) 4 floors up - side sea view overlooking tennis courts and back of another hotel, Very attractive public areas, spotlessly clean room well furnished and comfortable beds. Lucky to get sun all afternoon on balcony, Bath with shower could be a problem for anyone with mobility problem - but fine for able bodied person, Plenty of sunbeds available at all times. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Food was amazing - good variety. Downside being there is only one restaurant and consequently there was queuing at all meal times- however, they did deal with you efficiently and in a friendly manner.
4pm - 5 pm in the lobby bar is happy hour. ALL drinks half price. ( cocktails are brilliant and at only 2.85 euros happy hour is very happy!) 7pm - 8pm is happy hour for cocktails only.
Entertainment in the hotel in the evening is pretty reasonable. Lots of elderly people at this time of year. Lots of different nationalities. Overall an excellent holiday, we paid for the safe - silly not to do so, However we did feel 4 euros a day for a fridge was a bit of a liberty and managed without one. The Thomson / First Choice staff (3) available most of the time on site and are very helpful.

We travelled as a family, myself, wife and two young children, I can honestly say that I arrived at this hotel full of dread, preparing myself for an onslaught of the “Birdie song” and all things reminiscent of my late 1970’s childhood Spanish package holidays, not that they were unpleasant times but I just didn’t want a repeat of it in my 40’s ! and I was soon to be proved wrong, it was a million miles from what I remembered ! We arrived at the hotel around 9pm just in time to snatch some dinner in what was a soon to be shutting restaurant, despite the time, there was plenty of choice on the buffet and the staff we really friendly and not at all bothered about us getting in late.
We went to our room and were quite disappointed with its position. It overlooked the road at the side of the hotel, it was more or less the same height as the footpath and road plus the room door faced the kitchen windows which were internal to the hotel, so 6am the next morning it was quite noisy. We spoke to the Thompson rep and reception and we moved to a room which was more or less by the side of the pool which was great, ideal for the kids and almost felt like a poolside villa. The room was spacious, the beds were a bit hard but I could live with it for a week.

This is a family hotel, if you don’t want kids around when you are on holiday then don’t come here ! But if you do come with kids it’s great. We hardly saw ours for the week, kids club was on twice a day plus the kids disco from 7-9pm. The hotel and pool areas are safe, clean and well supervised. Plenty of sun loungers but beware, get out early and get your towels down if you want a decent spot!!

The hotel entertainment was a bit cheesy but after a few vodkas it didn’t matter. The hotel entertainment staff gave it 110% both in the evenings and the kids clubs.

I’d give the food 8 out of 10, there was loads of choice and you will not go hungry. As ever the Brits piled up the chips and pizza’s but every night there was fresh fish or meat being grilled on demand by a chef, plus a great selection of deserts, cheeses, fruits etc. Breakfast was similar and although the dining hall was very busy most of the time, getting served was generally quick and again the staff were great and nothing was too much trouble.

I’d return to this hotel in the blink of an eye, everything was good and I’d definitely recommend it if you want a decent family holiday.

Room Tip: If you are a family try to get a pool side room.

This is our 5th time at the guayarmina princess and once again the whole holiday was excellent, food good, restaurant staff great, rooms kept very clean, reception staff helpful. Every day our two children looked forward to mini club and mini disco with Ana, Mario and Monica. They were very fond of them all but especially Ana, i think i can honestly say she has been the best so far, always punctual, reliable a real bundle of fun, felt our children was very well looked after by Ana. we all loved the daytime activities. In the evening entertainment we would definately recommend two acts, mister, sister and jonny circus, hilarious! we had two weeks 13th nov-27th nov weather was fantastic 26-32 in the day and nights about 18-21, didnt need a jacket. can't wait till next year.

Room Tip: all rooms are nice

We arrived early as we had a high tail wind so we were able to get our restaurant dinner in the hotel.
We visited this hotel approx 10 yrs ago and I feel that it really does deserve the 'Princess Group' spending a substantial ammount of euros to return it to its former glory. It is looking so 'sad' now.
Our room number was 4014 good side view over the tennis court and side veiw of the pool and sea. The sun shone on it most of the day too.
The bathroom fittings were the same as ten yrs ago plastic green marble tiles... a painted bath which was peeling so not very hygenic... a fixed shower screen which mean't we had to stand in the bath to lean over and turn it on .....and no bidet??? 4 Stars the bathroom was not!
We very highly praise all the staff in the restuarant and bars and chambermaids too. So friendly and extremely helpful at all times.
We were there for 2 weeks and NEVER had to wait longer than 2-3 mins to be directed to a table in the restaurant.
Yes there was plenty of choice but we found the majority of the meat/chicken dishes dry and/or tasteless.
We feel that the kitchen should focus on quality rather than quantity of dishes. The roast pork was tasteless and the grilled chicken breasts were so very dry you could hardly cut them up. The 'salad' dishes were good as was most of the fish. Plenty of dessert choices too so if you have a sweet tooth it's perfect.
Breakfast was a bit samey but if you like eggs you can get them cooked 5 different ways !! There is a large choice of sausages too!!!
You will feel like eating out a few times whist you are here and we recommend 'El Mirador' in Adeje it's self and 'Mama Rosa' in Las Americas....both are not cheap but the food is excellent so both worth worth a visit.

******Please give this hotel a visit, it is worth it...really******

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room, try to get a room on the 4th floor from 4018 on the left side of the hotel...
