This was our first visit to Guayamina Princess, and the location of the Hotel was lovely and the staff very helpful. The Christmas decorations looked lovely. We have been to other parts of Teneriffe but thought this was ideally situated. However, we did find the dining room too crowded and very noisy with the tables too close together. It would be better if guests were allocated certain times to eat in the dining room. The swimming pool areas were again too crowded with hardly any space between the sun loungers. We feel if we ever returned to the area of Costa Adeje again, we would be looking for alternative Hotels mainly because of the over crowded dining room and swimming pool areas.

Third visit to this lovely hotel. Christmas Decorations were very tasteful and new settees & armchairs, some white leather & others dark brown, gave a very smart appearance in all areas.
With over 500 rooms and possibly over 1,000 guests, the Dining Room was mostly noisy and
crowded with tables in rows close together. Large variety of self service buffet style food, which gradually got monotonous - same, same, same. Evening Dinner was until 9pm, but food was being removed too early for those who arrived late due to coach trips. This caused a lot of noise for those remaining, with trolleys being rushed around. Disabled seating was catered for near food areas which was very helpful, as it was a very large dining room. Think perhaps two separate seating times, as on cruise ships, would be the answer.
Poolside was very clean, but sunbeds were very close together and because people left their
towels out from VERY early morning - and sometimes all day - without returning, finding free
sunbeds was often a very annoying problem. The varied entertainment was on the whole Good, and music for ballroom style dancing & Disco was excellent.
Everything was lovely - but could I face that Dining Room again???
Hotel is in a lovely area of Tenerife, quieter than some, with a safe beach.

Room Tip: If you have walking difficulties ask for a room on the Reception area floor. For the 3rd year I wro...

Went back to the Guayarmina for a second time and found it to be as good as the first. 2 weeks prior to our departure I emailed Jose at the hotel and requested the same room as last time, unfortunatly this could not be done as it was booked, so he gave us a room next floor up in the same location, this was equally as good. From the staff to the chamber maids everyone was so pleasent and helpfull, it really makes for a good break. Lovely hotel, lovely weather, lovely holiday what more needs to be said. We shall be returning again same time next year. Well done to ALL that work at the Guayarmina Hotel.

Room Tip: A room at the front of the hotel is quiet and has beautiful views of the mountains. You also see the...

Our second visit to this hotel. Food choice in the dining room is excellent. Queues at dinner but these are quickly moved by the efficient staff who are constantly clearing and resetting tables. When booking we requested a high floor and rang the hotel 4 days before arrival to confirm our request and to ask for a seaview room overlooking the road. This hotel has 2 buildings joined together. The main building which houses recepyion has 4 more floors after the ground floor. The other building has 4 more foors at a lower level going from 4 down to zero. we were allocated afamily room in this building , room 129 on the 1st floor. Actually the bottom floor in that area. We asked for a move when we checked in but this wasnt available until 2 days later as the hotel was full. Didnt go to any of the entertainment.

Room Tip: High floor in main building

Another visit to this hotel proved a good choice again, the food is very good and the general decor is very nice. Being near Christmas the hotel was nicely decorated not over the top but quite classy.
The entertainment was a not too good although this did not bother us to much as we tended to walk after dinner. There was a little wait to be seated for meals as the hotel was quite full, plenty of sun beds though. Weather was very good for time of year got up to 28c one day!
Good thing to see with Costa Adeje is that money is being spent to improve/update area, a nice place to visit particularly if you enjoy walking. One comment I would make is that rooms could do with a part refit, the bathroom tiles were starting to look a little sad but all in all a very good hotel with polite staff.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view

We stayed here from 2nd to the 9th of December, our room was very nice and was kept immaculate during our stay, evening entertainment was, in the main, very enjoyable apart from the Abba tribute which was a joke! Our only reservation was the dining room, food was ok but the queues were terrible, it appears that the hotel has far to many guests for the dining room to comfortably accommodate, all of the staff were very polite and most obliging, for the main part the hotel was good.

.We spent a great relaxing week at this hotel in late November. It was good value for money, half board and we had so much at breakfast we hardly ever ate at lunchtime. Dinner was varied with plenty of choice with an excellent quality roast available every night if you wanted rather than a good selection of continental dishes, fish, pasta and other meat dishes, even smoked salmon and king prawns on occasions.
Our room was spacious with a king size double bed a good size bathroom, a bacony with sea view of the harbour and beach. The best rooms seem to be high, we were on the third floor of four. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the entertainment was exceptionally good, all professional varied acts not in house staff.
Nice beach with chairs and shades at 15 euros a day for two chairs and a shade although there were plenty of chairs around the hotel pool area which overlooked the beach and a lift down to the beach to save walking. You can walk for over 8 kilometers along the prom which is a very pleasant coastal walk, for a leasurely stroll.
Just a few minor niggles, if you want to use the fridge in your room a charge of 4 euros a day is made and to use wifi in reception costs 20 euros a week, many hotels now provide this free, although there were computers available for use at 1 euro for 10 mins.
Overall a very enjoyable holiday

Room Tip: High room overlooking pool/beach
