Stand out point - Hotel Staff, they are quick to serve, always pleasant without fault.

Location - Seafront a bit noisy in evening but nice views across the Beach and Seafront.

Entertainment - Is varied, some good shows others not so good but plenty for all tastes.

Drinks - are pricey, a good bottle of Wine is 16 Euros, Cocktails 7 Euros and a Beer is 5 Euros.

Room – Beds are comfy, decor a bit aged, plenty storage, shower area was a bit cramped.

Breakfast – Great selection, something for everyone, tip get in before 8:30am to avoid rush!

Evening Meal – Quality of food was fine but the lack of selection was disappointing.

Restaurant – Avoid getting placed in couples row as the tables are too tightly packed together and they insist on men wearing long trousers even if they are jogging pants – bizarre!

The beach front walk is pleasant – to the right it is quieter. A fair bit touting if you go left into Puerto Colon but they don’t hassle you… too much! Plenty of pubs and cheapish eating places.

If you're half-board go to the Pantry at lunchtime - its on a side street to the left five mins away offering good selection of snacks, drinks, coffees and fresh cakes and pasties at good prices.

Room Tip: Go for a half price Cocktail at the Piano Bar Happy Hour 7-8 (3 Euros) before evening meal!

just back from a nice stay .the hotel yes was fine ,the long trousers for dinner with a shirt was a joke really ,as we watched eating a evening meal drinking only water as the drinks were overpriced everybody were drinking water ,shame really as you could walk 2 mins and pay 1 euro a pint ,ok the dress code guys were walking into dinner smart shorts and shirts were turned away disgrace .and then let sombody in there sportworld jogging pants and matching tattoos .i think this hotel has visions of being upmarket it aint .we had top room avoid all we could here all night was the generator from next hotel ,building work going on around pool .could have been done in the winter .i afraid that if you want to go to relax ware your shorts chill out dont book here ,dont think we will return this hotel again ,the only good part that it is central and you can get to all places .look out when you enter the dining room the manager will turn you away for wearing shorts be warned

The hotel was perfect, decent food and drink, really good location right next to the beach, nice and clean hotel rooms with decent air con, great variety of facilities available like Tennis, squash, pool and hotel activities every day.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view room for a great view of the sea.

j My husband and I just got back from 7 days in this hotel. We enjoyed our stay overall. Before we travelled we emailed and asked for a quiet room on a high floor and this is what we were given. We were a little concerned that the room was right next to the lift, but we needn't have worried as it was very quiet once the entertainment finished just after 10pm.
The food was nice, with a good selection, but not much variety from night to night. It would be nice to have had at least free water with dinner, but i guess this would have cut their profits somewhat. The hotel and room was clean, but the beds were very hard and the bathroom a little old and tired, with no ventilation. The balcony was small but adequate and the tv had a reasonable selection of channels. You had to pay for use of the fridge, safe and wifi.
We paid for the use of the fridge and purchased water from the mini market across the road. which probably saved us a few euros in the long run.
There is a lift that takes you down to a nice beach and shops. However you are hassled quite a bit by sunglasses and watch sellers, ladies trying to plait your hair or people trying to get you into their restaurant or bars. We sat in a bar near the beach for about an hour and I counted 9 different street traders coming to the table. They WILL take no for an answer, but it is quite intrusive.
We visited Loro park which was a lovely day out with the animals well cared for.
The staff were all friendly and helpful and although there was some work going on by the pool, it did not cause us a problem. But beware that the tiles around the pool are slippery if you have wet, bare feet. There are signs warning you of this though.
If you are buying tobacco. cigs or booze to take back, beware that some shops are showing the price in £ which they then convert to euros in a very sneaky way at the till.
All in all the hotel was of good quality and I would stay there again.

My 75 year old mum and myself went to the Guayarmina Princess Hotel in May for a relaxing 5 night break and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food got slightly repetative each evening which is only to be expected of a buffet , although it was always of a very good standard. There was no free Wifi unfortunately.

We have wanted to stay here for a very long time so was disappointed with the Hotel. First of all I emailed the Hotel & rang Thompson asking for a sunny balcony & a view if possible, I took the trouble to explain that I was recovering from a major operation & had limited walking so may spend a lot of time in the room. Well I may as well as spoke to the wall :(

Check in was horrendous, a full 30 minutes and only 20 guests in total booking in, not a good first impression. The room was clean, balcony was tiny, and although it was only a request it was totally ignored, as I hoped for a quiet room too, but we had Karaoke cats singing every night opposite us!

We usually go to Egypt and are used to good rooms & being treated well, if that's what you are hoping for don,t go here. They charge you for a Fridge, even for Medical purposes, charge you for the in room safe too, captive audience springs to mind. & some poor bloke had to pay for hVe from the bar as he needed it for a foot injury!

They was pool work whilst we were there but. It as bad as the previous week.

The food was not bad, plenty of choice but not always cooked, friends of ours had raw Fish.
Nice looking pool, sun beds were like the rooms beds, very uncomfortable & definatly no more than a 3* rating for this hotel.

On the plus side, walk outside & get lovely lunches,, also try Tony Romas ribs yum yum

Room Tip: Don,t bother asking! We got a room change but didn,t take it as it was worst than the first one!

My friend and I have just made our third visit to this superb hotel and cannot fault it. We have emailed the hotel requesting the room we would like and they try their best to accommodate. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the food is good with so much to choose from.
