We booked a seven day half board and were not disappointed. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. The restaurant was perfect for our requirements, the food was excellent, plenty of options for a different meal every evening and the breakfasts lasted us all day. There were minor works going on around the pool area but there was no disruption to the guests. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. There are rooms over the reception area and the entertainment area that might suffer a bit of noise but we were in rooms 2049 and 2050 which were just off the reception and they were absolutely fine, lovely balcony with a sea view. The Thompson reps deserve a mention, Amir and his team were fantastic, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.

Stayed from 8th - 22nd. Staff fantastic, animation team amazing especially Rachel who does kids club, felt included in kids club even though my boy is only 2. Great mini disco. Water aerobics very entertaining with Joe!

There is continuing works around the hotel mainly replacing ALL the tiles around the pool area, for non slippery ones, large areas cordoned off. Not too much of a disruption just a bit annoyed and frustrated that the hotel or Thomson Did not inform us before we went hammer drill digging out a whole for more parasols at 10am not appreciated.

Food on par with most Canarie Islands good choice for adults not so much for kids.

Drink a little on the high side but actually on par with bars outside(soft drinks), don't buy water at the hotel get the same brand from Dino supermarket down the road for 50cent compared to €2.20. A pint class of ice will cost you 75cent.

Entertainment good, Mr Sister is a must see!

Iberostar hotel next door very VERY noisy especially one night having a foam party!

Overall a great holiday would return but would go All inclusive when it become available next year

Room Tip: Email first you will get what you ask for, high floor sea view, not in the lower part of the hotel

My husband and I stayed here for a week at the beginning of July, it was ok, the rooms need upgrading the bathrooms are very small not a lot of room, the air con was fab, the food for me was not great it was the same choice every evening, my husband hating wearing long trousers for dinner as the temperature was so hot, the pool was full of inflatables from children so we never went in, the lifts are a joke, we had a high floor room which was fine with a good view and quiet on a night as many people were complaining about the noise from lower levels, I cannot complain about the staff as they were all really helpful and happy.

The entertainment was poor, the acts were not great at all, we will not be returning to this hotel which is a shame as the location is great.

Room Tip: We had room 4033 which was a quiet room with a good view

Stayed once before in 2010, and just got back from this year's holiday there. Still a great hotel with great staff and a good choice of food if you eat in the restaurant. Drinks at either of the bars aren't terribly expensive but aren't as cheap as those just a little way out from the hotel. There's also a supermarket two minutes up the road that stocks a really good selection of both English and Spanish branded items.

I do wish they'd not charge for the WiFi, especially considering that only one device per room at a time may use it. Also, it only reaches certain rooms, the pool and the piano bar. We stayed in room 2018 and had a strong, fast connection, but rooms outside the hotel or higher up may struggle. I recommend going to your room and checking the WiFi signal strength from your device before laying any cash down for it.

All in all, a lovely hotel with passionate and fun staff. Would definitely stay again, although for variety's sake I'd also check out the 5* Iberostar just down the road and also the Cleopatra near the new Hard Rock Café.

This was our second visit to this hotel, this year. On our first visit in March of this year, there was mainly an older clientele, but on our second visit in July there was younger couples and more families. Only downside to this was more ball games in the pool, not that it bothered us too much. The hotel staff, from reception to the cleaners couldn't be more helpful an friendly. The restaurant staff worked none stop. All excellent. The food in the restaurant was brilliant, choices were endless at breakfast and dinner. On both visits, we have had nice rooms with beautiful sea views and the sunsets are lovely from the hotel. We liked the area of the hotel as you were just out of the busiest part but easy to walk into. The only downside to this area of tenerife was bar/restaurant staff hassling you to go in, by the end of the week, it wears a little thin. But in saying this, I'm sure we will return again to this hotel. Which is a brilliant place to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room higher up in the hotel, sea views are brilliant.

This was me and my fb first holiday together and we had an amazing time! We looked forward to breakfast everyday as there is everything you could possibly want! The omelette guy at the hotel is brilliant we had them every day :) such a good range of activities, football, table tennis and archery competitions were just some of the things available to do for everyone to enjoy we especially liked water polo. The entertainment team was so good,we thought the best was joe- he was so fun and did his best to get everyone involved. The location is great lots of restaurants near by and the beach is on your doorstep with water sports available. Siam park is a huge water park there which is only a short taxi/bus ride away from the hotel would definitely recommend going to this! There aren't any clubs around but lots of bars for drinks at night. Overall the holiday was amazing and we will be returning here another time.

this was ouri second visit to Tenerife.the hotel looks impressive .and that is all.
the room was big enough and very clean.our door card was not working and it took 3 days of complaining before anything was done, and that was having the device totally replaced with a new one.
the long trousers rule is very good ,but a bit of flexibility could have been shown to a man who had just arrived ,and had been told to go straight into the dinining room as it was due to close ...whilst eating in the dining room it was hard to get a waiters attention to order drinks ,they were more interested in re-setting tables due to the volume of people dining at the same time. maybe a 2 sitting service may alleviate this problem.

BEWARE..... this hotels idea of entertainment is DIRE. karaoke at 10pm being done by children ??
practically ALL the entertainment started late and i just don't mean by a couple of min. i thought presentation of certificates to adults went out with the ark. not in this hotel apparently.

THOMSON i want to be entertained at night, NOT having to resort to people watching.

we booked 2 trips, both tours of the island and done differently. one was by jeep and was spectacular driving on the roads up to mount tide you were ABOVE the cloud line.the driver of ours was great company as were all the other drivers. included in this is a camel trip and was great fun. the second trip was also around the island and by coach . less energetic but just as enjoyable.both trips were booked through Thomson reps. this was to avoid getting ripped off outside. i also booked via the internet a horse riding trip (see my other review) .

this is definitely not a platinum level hotel.
we stayed in the h10 grand Tenerife last year and that beats this one by a mile

Room Tip: don't go there
