Customer service was great even before we arrived. I;d emailed reception about a couple of issues and got a quick and really helpful response from Mario. Check in was smooth, rapid and professional (as was check out) and the high level of customer service was maintained throughout our stay. Service in the various bars was quick and friendly, waiting times in the restaurant were minimal even at busy times and cleaning staff kept the hotel spotlessly clean.
Our room was a good size, well equipped and very comfortable. The balcony wasn't the biggest but it was fine and the sea view was well worth the extra.
Food in the restaurant was good but no more than that. Omelettes at breakfast were very good but although there was a good range of meals for dinner the quality was sometimes limited,
We stayed half board so can't comment of the AI issues - although i did notice that people on AI were served a different wine.
The much discussed building work wasn't an issue for us. Heard very little noise so no problems.
All in all, another hugely enjoyable stay and we'll be back after the planned renovation is complete.More
