We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor. It was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Tv and iPod docking station in both the sitting room and double bedroom. Maid service came every day. Nice pool with poolside bar. Entertainment in the lounge most nights. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars close by. Would recommend it.

Just back from our second visit to this Diamond Resort accommodation. Still using the short term membership we bought at our last visit here. Enjoyed it more this time ...no surprises and no hard sell from Diamond. They tried but we declined the free breakfast and the "exciting news about developments". Still this is about the holiday and as stated we enjoyed it more this time. Weather excellent, not too crowded at accommodation or the general Adeje area. Mix up with our room allocation at the start was a worry, not getting the "Elite" apartment we were promised on booking. Interestingly they gave us the same room we had at the first visit which had no sun at any time of the day. We declined that and a compromised on a room with no pool view but a bigger bathroom and view of the street. Rather suited us with plenty of room on the balcony and the opportunity to "people watch" Accommodation, as we have found with other Diamond properties was more than adequate with good facilities and always clean and well maintained. Regular towel change and the occasional bed make and tidy up. Didn't eat in the restaurant as there are plenty of options nearby and generally I would say, cheaper. Pool bar served nice meals and we did eat several lunches there and although simple quite enjoyable. Usual issue with towels on loungers in the mornings but watch out...there is a very keen "soccorista" who will tag you and tell you to behave. I rather liked that ! Any way overall a good complex, and believe it or not we have already booked to go back in March. Looking forward to that, oh and also the Peking Palace where its all you can eat for 7 and a half euros. Job done.

Room Tip: Try and get an Elite room, but they may be kept for the full members and only a few special ones at that

Thank you for your review! We are really pleased that your second visit to the Royal Sunset Beach Club was a more positive experience than your first visit, and that you’re planning to return for a third stay.

With reference to “Elite” apartments, please allow us to clarify that this refers to a specific bookable accommodation type, with different amenities than standard 1-bedroom apartments have. We’re sorry if this wasn’t explained to you at the time you made the booking!

We are delighted that you’re planning to return here, and we can’t wait to see you again!

Very clean and very well maintained. Cleaners are the unsung heroes of this resort. Not a fly in sight! Apartments are of very nice quality, with exception of sofa!! (Rock hard and very worn) Kids club really useful, my daughter had a lovely break each day for a couple of hours while my granddaughter played and made friends.Clare, the nursery teacher was excellent.

Shame about the indoor restaurant - It used to be cosy and inviting with soft lighting. Now its been modernised it looks like a canteen with very bright overhead spotlighting! Not a picture or anything to interest you. Looks like an up market canteen. No ambiance, so we didn't go there on this visit. We just got to the entrance and walked away. It was empty most nights so our feelings must be shared (It was always so busy before?? ) Food in pool bar has dropped in quality and portion size. I had to send my canarian chicken back as only 2 tiny pieces of chicken, nearly all bone. Cheap, truly awful sausages!! Come on Diamond resorts, you can do better than that.
Overall this is a great resort. Excellent kitchen facilities and good staff. Someone needs to look into food provision. Then would give 5 stars

We are really pleased that your stay at the Royal Sunset Beach Club was a generally enjoyable one – thank you for your review!

We’re sorry to read of your disappointment with our on-site restaurant, though: although it is operated through a franchise, we do expect their quality of food and service to reflect the standards that all other aspects of the resort are held to – the resort’s catering staff make every effort to ensure that diners are satisfied, and we’re sorry that you were disappointed on this occasion. We are proud of our restaurant, and we are sorry that its refurbishment was not to your liking. We really hope that this didn’t mar your stay here, and we hope you’ll come back and visit us again!

Just come back from 3 weeks in the resort. We have been going to this resort for 20 years now and it just gets better and better. Anne Bennett and her reception staff are always there to help you have the best holiday and will do everything to accommodate you in the apartment of your choice. The entertainment is good with the gorgeous Alex for the adults and Claire does a great job with the kids. Tony and his staff from the Little Italy for all your dining, whether it's a lunch time meal or evening dinner the food is very tasty and delicious also cooked to your liking. We were in room 126 which we always try and get as it faces the pool and you get sun all day so in the evening on the terrace with a glass of Vino it's just heaven. We are spending yet another Christmas there this year with all my family so can't wait to start the packing and get back and see all our lovely friends and have the odd drink with Anne!!

Room Tip: In my opinion if you like peace don't go round the baby pool as it can be a bit noisy ( as you can imagine) but only through the daytime.

We arrived at resort and was given room 111 by Ruth at the reception who was very helpful as our requested room was not available. It was on the left side near the pool and was really quite on a night time. I was really surprised to find a it had bath with shower over the bath which I prefer, I have being coming here a long time and thought all the rooms had showers.
It was really clean with a comfrey bed and every thing you need in the kitchen, it had 2 TVs and 2 iPod players. We enjoyed the food at the pool bar we also enjoyed the entertainment in the newly refurbished bar. This has been another wonderful holiday with all the high standards you would expect from this lovely resort.
I cant believe its advertised on the web as a 3 star more like a 4 +

Room Tip: Rooms on the left side are quieter
