This is not a good place to stay , the location is fine, but the hotel it self is not so good ,the dinning room is like a canteen, and the food is of poor quality, rooms are not to bad , but there where one or two cockaroaches, very dark in the bed rooms , as you can not open the curtains as you are overlooked. the absolute worst thing was when we used the curtesy room to shower and change before leaving, they gave us a key card and said we where the only ones using it, my husband was using the shower (only one was working by the way) and in walked one of the chef's , who looked grunted and left , 5 mins later in walked another one , who also walked out, anyone in there could have been caught naked quite easily, we complained only to be told that this room was also used a toilet for the chef's, no apology or anything, just so matter of fact. So beware!!!!

This was our 2nd choice, having missed out the Laguna Park 2, & having read previous reviews was a bit worried. However, it really wasn't that bad.

I asked for a high level room, but we were in the basement on level 2. Our studio apartment was actually a one bed apartment, with full kitchen and a lovely private terrace. It was very spacious. We did have a really old TV with only one English channel, but who comes on holiday to watch TV ?.

We had a nice walled terrace with although with no view, but we got the sun late afternoon and it was nice and quiet and very private. I would have been happy with any of the rooms downstairs, they all had private balconies or terraces. So honestly - they are not as bad as some people are saying.

The hotel and our apartment was very clean, the receptionist friendly enough and the pool area tidy. If you wanted a cushion for your sun bed you had to pay a whole one euro 50.... wow ...!! not a lot really. I didn't bother, as I was comfortable enough without one.

The food in the restaurant is just what you expect for a 3 star. We was all inclusive and we found plenty of choice every day.

The pool bar served food, the man there a bit grumpy - but apart from that a good selection of toasties, chips, burgers & hot dogs.

Entertainment in the evening was a bit cheesy, bingo and bird shows & dancing. What again what you expect.

The hotel itself is in a great location. Just either side and across the road are bars, restaurants & a couple of takeaways. So enough going on. Down the road 10 mins walk is Puerto Colon and a couple of nice beaches. Plenty of bars & restaurants and a lovely harbour.

From the front of the hotel you can see the flumes of the water park, but we didn't go. From the back of the hotel you can see Mount Tiede, a really beautiful backdrop.

Apart from the grumpy pool bar man, my only two real gripes is the fact at checkout at 12pm they take your band off and all inclusive ends. I did try to hide mine - but got rumbled. But to be honest, we got more than plenty out the all inclusive deal so we went next door to the bar to watch the football before going home. Also some people are so inconsiderate when coming in the early hours of the morning. Chatting really loud and slamming doors.......not funny at 3 in the morning.

I don't know what people are expecting, this is a nice 3 star hotel, If you want 5 star - then book 5 star.

Tip flag a taxi down, we asked reception to order a taxi for us and it never came.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back,

dont listen to bad reviews, this hotel has everything you need for what you are paying for and the staff really do try and make it a good holiday for you, entertainment every night which is always good and to everyones taste with dancers, comedians, snake shows, parrot shows, bingo!

rooms are spacious, mine and my partners room was room 610 floor 6, if you get this room consider yourself lucky, great balcony views, comfortable & safe.

location is spot on, probably even one of the best located hotels in the area.. there are shops, bars & restaurants everywhere you look & its a 10-15 minute walk from the beach and about 20 minutes from the veronicas strip for people who like to party, this place will sort you out, great atmosphere, nice people. apart from the "looky looky" men who always try getting you to buy stuff, JUST SAY NO! hehe. also if a man tries selling you a ticket for the veronicas strip saying it will get you cheaper drinks, dont listen, we fell for it and it cost 50 euros.

the food in hotel wasnt nice i will admit but the restaurants close by can make up by serving delicious breakfast, lunch & dinner at very reasonable prices! one place just 2 minutes down the road if you turn right out of the hotel is a place called Mario's they do a delicious full english or club sandwich, me and my boyfriend went here a few times for breakfast.

Just across the road and up the hill abit you will find aqua land, great for the younger children as we discovered when we went there, ( the slides are abit smaller) still good fun though! and sunbathing area with a bar to keep the adults entertained :)
i say 'smaller slides' as just a few more minutes up the road is the amazing SIAM PARK which is a much much bigger water park for all ages and it even has a white sandy beach with the worlds biggest wave machine< fact. and a restaurant that serves delicious food and drinks!

we had so much fun on our holiday and i felt safe and at home at the villa adeje beach, and its because of its location and good nights sleep you get that we had such a good time, highly recommend!

we were a group of 12 women who stayed at the hotel and we were all expecting it to be very basic for the money we paid, however we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed all inclusive with was great. The breakfast choice was good, full english (plus some strange additions like fried bananas and peppers!!) and continential and always tasted fresh. I would say that the choices for lunch were better than the evening but always a selection of salads and cooked choices in a choose your own canteen style arangement. The poolside food is basic, toasties, hotdogs etc but edible and i think that the only thing missing is the availabilty of crisps and nuts (especially in the cocktail bar in the evening). With the availibility of constant food and drink on offer you will never go hungry!!
The hotel is a bit of a rabbit warren, and basically what you would expect from a 3 star, nothing plush or sophisticated but basic and functional. The rooms were of a good size, and haven't been decorated for a while but fine for a 3* and i was expecting worse.
The staff were varied, the entertainments/events organiser was lovely, friendly, accomodating and helpful, the cocktail bar and disco staff were friendly but the poolside and some restaurant waiters were very grumpy with no manners, but not enough for it to be an issue and ruin your time there.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a nice lower/mid priced holiday experience as it gave us more than we were expecting, however if i were coming on a weeks holiday with family and wanted more luxury i would try something else.
It is in a good area for visiting the marina/beach and some shops by foot but far away from playa de las americanas for it to not be crazy at night. It's only 5 mins in the taxi to the great nightlife of playa de las americanas

Well, after staying at Villa De Adeje Hotel for a week, that's enough to drive you crazy... you can hear teenagers/young adults early in the morning, 1 - 4am coming in from night outs drunk, and disorderly, people slam doors very loud, and people are inconsiderate.

Staff: well i can honestly say i have never experienced staff so rude, i even heard a story about an incident the week i was staying there were staff are rudely using rude finger signs to a lady after serving her!
i can honestly say i would advise you not to go to Villa De Adeje Hotel if you are looking for luxury!

Cleaning: cleaning happens 5 days a week in the hotel rooms, and i can honestly say, if they clean properly i wouldn't find cockroaches in my kitchen sink in one if the studio rooms i was in, it is clearly UN-hygienic in that hotel, if you do end up staying in this hotel, and experience noise problem and dirty rooms, go to reception A.S.A.P and asked to be moved, i wish i did, but never did get round to asking.

Outside The Rooms: well the food is just horrible, you get no choice at all its just 7 dishes of different food and thats it, you dont get to choose other than whats there, horrible combinations of food, and its not just that it was cold and should not be served, they even put a microwave in the restaraunt, they clearny know the food is cold themselves, well if there was a health or food inspection, they would be shut down so quickly.

The Gym: why bother even talking about it, nothing works in there, they running machine does not work, completely UN-usable, and the bike machine, again... UN-usable, weights are OK, but still if there was a safety and health inspection, again.... it would be shut down in no time.

Overall... do not go to this hotel, i would only advise this hotel if you want weather, because on that holiday, its all i got!

best holiday in a long time...rooms great, clean& tidy, meals good choice every sitting, staff were all helpful & cheerful except one, but after a quiet word with antonio the manager he couldn't have been nicer...nothing was to much trouble and there was a gang of 12 of us! we were all inclusive and there were no problems at all. the whole area was great ,bit hilly but we were for warned..the entertainment on the evenings was the only let down, but after a number of vi nos you hit the bars which are great...would definitely go back...
