“Quiet, clean, but not easy to find”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2013

I booked the hotel mainly becaues of the price, and the description was saying not fare from centre, and the the map said the same. When I tried to find by foot, I realised, that the location on the map is not correct. But Ms. Kristina picked my up personally, brought my to the pension and explained me a lot. And at the end she even brought me to the rental station, where I could rent a scooter. I would go again to this hotel, but I would recommend to have the correct geographical information on the maps.

Room Tip: Let you pick you up at the port, so you will not have problems with finding.

I stayed in Loukas Pension 4 days and I was satisfied. Reasonable price, very friendly owner (it will help if you speak little bit greek), rooms and bathrooms have been renovated this winter , and everything is new!
It's a pension. It's not a hotel and don't expect 5* room. It's nice, clean, you have everything that you need to stay over. Anyway - when you are in Greece/Mykonos it would be a shame to stay in room and watch tv.
The pension is up the hill 5-10 mins walking. And yes there is a hotel nearby where they organise parties every night, but after 22h it's very peaceful and ideal for sleeping.
(I wouldn't swap for any other accommodation closer to Mykonos town, there's impossible to sleep)
The main bus station is just 5 mins away, as well as supermarket and bakery.
My recommendation for Mykonos - rent a bike and explore the island by yourself!

Room Tip: Some rooms don't have a balcony. Ensure that you ask for the room with balcony when you book the...

Even taxis drivers didn't know where it was.

Wrong informations of the exact situation, no address, no one to receive you, only a maid whom doesn't speak english.

On top of a hill, nearest coffee shop 10 min away down the hill.... you have to come back up the hill.

Near a noisy hotel at sunset.

Small room no much place, overpriced like a lot of things in Mykonos...... whom said poor economy people are suffering ? with such prices.

Small bath room every time you take a shower you wet the toilets.

shaking door with a window letting the light pass through all night.

I was a bit apprensive when I booked as it did not give an address,
I was certain this was not in the centre of town due to the photos, so I found the lack of address unjustified. When I spoke to the local tour operator, they reassure me that any taxi would know.

This was the case and 5 euro is all it cost me to reach the place, I am familiar with the island so I found the location perfect for me. Is just above the main bus station, turning left on the main road and almost immediately on the hill on the right, on a narrow very stteep street where you also see a sign for the Little Rochary hotel.

My room had a balcony with sea and sunset view even from my bed. No ac but is a windy island so did not feel the need. No tv, even if you get one in greece you normally dont get english channel only greek ones.

The only annoying part was the near by Elysium hotel terrace. They use it for sunset gay gatherings, the first hour they play pleasant chill out, but has soon the sun set be prepared to hear extremely tacky and loud music for about 1 and half hour.

If you can overcome that your stay will be pleasant, giving excellent value for money
the steep hill is doable, even for me and I am fit 43 old, generally the crowd in the hotel is a lot younger though.

Room Tip: ask for sea view when you book
