We arrived at Mykonos Airport at 9.00am, to find a complementary transfer (pre arranged) ready and waiting to collect us.
Upon an early arrival at the hotel, the manager Madalena, was welcoming and very friendly. We were offered breakfast even though we had just arrived.

Most rooms have an ocean view, are very very clean with marble floors in the main room and bathroom.
Room 122 has air conditioning, very comfortable beds, tea and coffee facilities, fridge, bottle of water (renewed daily) safe, hanging area, hairdryer, complementary wifi and a buffet breakfast, which can be eaten on the terraces, while you gaze at the ocean.

All the staff are happy to do anything for you. All requests are met with a big smile and upon completion a you get a "your welcome", making the stay more like home than a hotel. This friendlessness is more evident, as we even chatted to Madalena for 2.5 hours one evening, until 12.45am.

The hotel is a short 250 meters or about a 5 minute walk to Mykonos City centre, where there is a vast number of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, churches and of course the docks, bay and ocean. The return walk up the gentle hill is easily completed at a stready pace.

A complementary shuttle bus, to and from the Mykonos airport is provided. Prior arrangement with the hotel is required.

I thoroughly recommend a stay at the Madalena Hotel, it has a good location, great ocean views, very accommodating staff and comfortable private rooms.

Room Tip: Not room 111, all others have balconies and lovely views

I stayed here based on the many good reviews and I was not disappointed. Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast, outstanding staff. Complimentary port transfers went off without a hitch, excellent amenities a good free wifi. Although the walk back from town is uphill, it's a good walk and well worth it.

The staff are extremely welcoming and willing to help with any request. The breakfast was wonderful, with many options. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the views were incredible. It was close to town, and made for the perfect place to stay for the weekend. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in Room 120 for 7 nights the first week in May 2014. The hotel exceeded all of our expectations and did not disappoint. As mentioned in other reviews - friendly staff, lovely breakfast, amazing views from our balcony of the port and a gorgeous room with comfy twin beds. We were collected and dropped off at the airport at no extra charge. Mykonos is a beautiful place, this hotel is only a 5-10 min walk into town. It is ok going into town, but coming back it is quite a steep incline - my partner and I are both 55 and managed this with no difficulty, but the elderly/those with walking difficulties might find it a struggle. This was our 3rd trip to Mykonos, we hope to return and would not hesitate staying here again. Tip - ask for a room on the upper floors as the views are better, room 120 has a private balcony - please note some rooms have a shared terrace.

Room Tip: Upper floor rooms are better for views. Room 120 is lovely with a private balcony.

Stayed here for 2 nights. driver picked us up at the airport as arranged. Staffs are friendly and are happy to give advice when asked. Room is comfortable with a soft bed that I like. Balcony offers view of the old port. Same breakfast everyday but with fresh yummy omelette of your choice. Hotel is about less than 10mins walk from the town and the walk back could be abit dark at night. But overall comfortable stay here!

This was our second visit to Mykonos and we stayed at the Madalena hotel. What a great place to stay. The staff, especially Elena and also the young Madalena, were excellent. From the start they make you feel welcome and they make sure you are comfortable with your room. The rooms are topical for the islands and they are serviced daily and kept clean. The breakfast is very generous and they prepare eggs, bacon, pancakes, fresh juice, yogurt and cereals. The Hotel is about a seven minute walk to the heart of Mykonos and the view from the rooms and the hotel generally is fantastic. The walk is down hill into town with a view over the old port. The rooms have a safe and the hotel feels safe. Elena organizes a driver to meet you at the airport or port and also organizes to take you back when you are ready to leave. They can advise you what to see and where to go and even helped us with the bike hire and return. A truly great place to stay, we have even booked a return trip later this year. There is a good sized pool for those lazy afternoons, while you watch the sun set.

Room Tip: All the rooms have a view and there is even a pool to coll down in the afternoon.

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel while visiting Mykonos. The family who runs it was extremely helpful in helping plan our stay, including renting atvs and where to eat dinner, etc. we slept in so late that we missed breakfast and they still brought out an entire meal including crepes, omelettes, fruit, toast and ham and cheese just for us!! The breakfast was incredible and always prepared fresh and just for us. The rooms were spacious and clean and the view....AMAZING. we brought our own wine back to the room to watch the sunset. No need to fight any crowds in town. The driver picked us up and dropped us off at the port, free of charge. We would definitely go back here. Beautiful rooms and such friendly staff! We loved every minute!!
