The staff doesnt have any experience related to hotel management, the rooms are so small and no one comes to clean the room, and the breakfast was zero two kind of cheeses with mosquitos roaming on them, unfresh juices, it is the worst hotel ever . Once we stepped there, we got so depressed.

Big rooms, very clean and above town to give better views and some fresh air and breezes. Great pool and pool service (thanks boys) and very helpful and friendly staff all round. Breakfast buffet with plenty to choose from.

Walking into town is not a problem for the able-bodied at all and definitely take the steps or pedestrian path (not the road). Do it during the day (there and back) the first time so you don't get lost in the early morning hours in the dark as we did - and others from the sounds of things.

We stayed at this hotel for a week, and would definitely go back. Good sized room, good sized bathroom with a great shower. Really clean. Very friendly staff. The breakfast is really good - hot and cold buffet with loads of choice. Only 5 minutes to walk into the town - tip though: take the steps all the way down immediately opposite the hotel rather than follow the road - walk down between the 2 buildings opposite and you will see the steps. Not as easy climbing back up... :)

Room Tip: Go for sea view on a lower floor so you get a terrace. We had a small balcony and they changed our r...

Agree with what other reviewers are writing. Superb clean hotel on Mykonos. Good location, very good service. Why does this review have to be 200 characters long. Enough has been said. lalalalalalalalalalal

A scintillating view, awesome service, and surroundings that will make you think twice about your travel plans - you just might want to cancel everything else and stay on at the Hermes for a while longer.

Spick and span, it's splendid white interiors give you an instant thrill - its almost a visual confirmation of your arrival in the exotic islands of Greece. The welcome is warm; and in our case, following the pickup from the port to the hotel, there was a refreshing welcome drink that we sipped on, as we soaked in the sights and scenes from the relaxing balcony.

It was a magnificent view that we walked into, as we settled in our rooms. It was obvious that Hermes prides itself in the cottons it provides, and its pride is certainly well placed. The bathrobes in particular, will haunt you in all further hotel stays. The pool setting is gorgeous, and you might spend a good while clicking photos around it.

The Breakfast Buffet was decent, and the spread sufficient. The Hermes Chefs should definitely look at creating a Hermes Signature dish that could add on to the Breakfast Buffet - it probably is the only aspect of Hermes that does not leave that lasting impression.

The only little niggles could be the absence of good restaurants at walking distance, and that it can get really dark around the place - not a great deal of street lighting. Not a massive botheration, in an experience that could be termed as nothing less than wonderful.

The service deserves special mention, as the folks at the reception go out of their way to ensure that you feel at home. My recommendation to everyone looking to travel to Greece would be to not miss the Mykonos-Hermes combination for anything.

I have done many reviews and I am not giving perfect scores easily but when it is well deserved, I am more than happy to do it.

Hermes Suites hotel in Mykonos has a great service, clean rooms, and is well located.

We were offered two rooms to choose from, not something I see often. Nothing was missing in our room, iron, safe, refrigerator, air conditioning, wi-fi, Guy Laroche shekels, perfect view on Mykonos. The nice marble floor and 12 feet ceiling makes the room look bigger.

We enjoyed an afternoon in the pool which we found was also very clean.

What you should know:

- not a lot of restaurants around but you can order to your room. You can also walk up the hill to Orenago, a small Greek restaurant where you will eat well for not much

- expect noise from the scooters almost all day long (you probably don't mind if you are among those who drives one, or who party all night)

- yes many young people party a lot in Mykonos but the room wall are very good at cutting noise, you hear them.

I would definitely return.

Room Tip: Go for a room on the top floor to enjoy the best sunset.

My sister and I first stayed in this hotel in June 2013 on our first trip to Mykonos. We immediately realized that we must bring the rest of our family back to the hotel on our next trip to Mykonos in July 2014. The main thing that distinguishes this hotel is the impeccable service. Unlike many of the bigger resort options on Mykonos, the service- from the front desk to the complementary and amazing breakfast- is personalized and, frankly, fantastic. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk down some stairs into the main part of Mykonos Town, but the walk is worth it for a couple of reasons. The first is that you escape the noise of town if you want to sleep, and the second is that the view from Hermes, perched above both the glistening town and the Adriatic, is hard to beat. The breakfast room is completely relaxing, as is the pool. The front desk will do anything in their power to accommodate you, including maps, fielding questions about the island and town, arranging complementary transfer from port or airport, providing complementary beach towels, etc etc....The rooms are beautiful and very clean and well-kept. The only difficulty is that WiFi is weak in the rooms, but we were happy to relocate to the beautiful white-marble lobby to use the internet.

Room Tip: Request a sea-view room!
