Spent 3 nights there in one of their sea view rooms. Room was beautifully presented, with a beach theme. Bed was very comfortable, and bathroom modern.
The views overlooking Mykonos from all areas of the hotel are spectacular. The pool is beautiful, and there were adequate pool lounges supplied.
Breakfast was very nice and served on the patio, overlooking Mykonos town. No variety for breafast , but for 3 days it did not bother us. Jams were beautiful, breads and pastries were similar. The yoghurt was the best we have ever had and could not find a match anywhere in Europe.
Sopia was amazing. She supplied lots of advice to us, with regard to eating and beaches to visit. Her favouite and ours, was certainly Ilias Beach. Would not bother with Paradise Beach, after visiting Ilias Beach
We were to be met at the airport very early in the morning, and unfortunately we were left stranded. Got a taxi to the hotel, and after receiving apologies for the mix up, we were offered breakfast, and asked to wait until our room was available. We had travelled from Tuscany, spent from midnight to 6.00 am in Athens airport, so very tired when reaching Mykonos. Can I say that Sophia and her staff handled us very well, and we were very appreciative of this.
Mykonos was a great destination, and the Alkyon Hotel made our stay perfect.More
