We chose this hotel based on trip advisor feedback for our second trip to Mykonos. The views from the Vencia Hotel are amazing with its hilltop location. It’s 10 minutes walk up from the town but it’s well worth it for the views. We found the Karavaki Restaurant was one of the best on the island. The family and staff are very helpful and friendly, particularly the evening waitress in the restaurant. Free WiFi is available in the communal areas. If we return to the island it will be to this hotel.

We selected this hotel based on its location to town and the reviews on trip advisor and we weren't disappointed. It was a mere 5 minute walk into Mykonos town, via the "short cut" path mentioned by the helpful hotel staff. We were timely met at the ferry and offered transportation, throughout our stay, to other parts of the island for a nominal fare. The highlight of the hotel was our room which was desingned in a chic coastal style. The restaurant/pool area provided spectacular views over both the town and the sea.

This is my first time doing a review on tripadvisor, but I felt that I needed to write a review about the Vencia. The Vencia hotel was by far the best hotel on our honeymoon in Greece. We had a 2 week honeymoon and stayed in numerous 5 star hotels, but this hotel out-shined our other hotels by it's charm, cleanliness, and service. (and I'm an extremely picky traveler when it comes to accommodations). This is a top notch establishment.

Stella, Yannis, Dmitri, and rest of staff made our honeymoon so memborable. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay exceeded our expectations. They were always prompt to help answer our questions and were genuinely very kind. They all work so hard to make sure the guests are happy.

Here are some details about the hotel. It is above the cliff overlooking Mykonos town, so you will need to walk about 10 minutes to get into the heart of Mykonos. Since the hotel is on a cliff, the walk back is all uphill and can be tiring (we loved it since it burned off the extra calories!). The pool is to die for and the view is unbelieavable. We had the best seats to see the sunset at the pool each night. The rooms are very modern and clean. Also, they offered the best breakfast buffet compared to other hotels that included eggs, bacon, fresh pasteries, yogurt, etc. The beds are hard, but all beds in Greece are hard. Finally, on our last night, we had dinner at Vencia, and it was the best dinner of our trip. They offered complimentary appetizer & dessert, and the main entree of fish and shrimps were delicious!

We've already recommended this hotel to our friends and family that are visiting Greece and know they will not be disappointed! Thank you for your outstanding hospitality, and we'll definitely be back to Vencia when we visit Mykonos!

having stayed there in 2009 we couldn't wait to go back to the hotel. Its location is great, just a ten (ish) minute walk down to town at night with stylish rooms and an infinity pool area to die for. Super attentive staff will probably go again next year!

Stayed at this hotel for a week for our honeymoon and really enjoyed it. We were upgraded free of charge to a suite which had recently been refurbished. It was a big room with a lovely bathroom with a huge shower and twin sinks.
We ate at the hotel restaurant a few times. Meals were very big and we got a few free extras of starters, desserts etc.
The hotel is at the top of the town so does require an uphill walk of about 30 minutes from the town centre!

We were more than pleased with our stay here. From the time we arrives our every need was taken care of. The staff was so incredibly helpful and friendly.

The food & drink: There is a breakfast buffet (included in the room cost) that has something for everyone, I could have stayed there two weeks and not tried everything on the buffet. Down by the pool is a bar where the very talented and friendly bartender made us a couple mojitos using mint pulled fresh from an herb garden right next to the bar. Not before offering to take a few pictures of my husband and I. We ate dinner in the restaurant one night, and I have to say it was the best meal we had on the island.

The location: The hotel is a short walk above the town of Mykonos. It was about 10 minutes to walk down, and maybe 15 to walk up as it is alot of hills/stairs. But I will say it is totally worth it, because you wont get the same views, luxury and quiet within the town. If you don't feel like walking, it's a 3 Euro cab ride from the town.

The service: The rooms were impeccably clean and had everything we needed. The front desk staff was always available to assist with directions, transportation arrangements, and recommendations.

If we make it back to Mykonos, I don't think I would even consider looking for another hotel.

I really could not find anything wrong with this hotel and I am super picky. I would definitely recommend it and would go back in a heartbeat. Price was right, breakfast buffet was great and the staff made everyone feel very welcome. The family running this hotel has pride in ownership. One of the ownders was constantly walking around making sure everything was clean. Evian bottles were quickly replaced at breakfast if they were running low.
All in all, terrific experience.
My room had a great little balcony overlooking the infinity pool and Mykonos-post card perfect views.
LOVED IT!
