“Perfect Location!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2014

Location was perfect maybe 100-150 meters to the windmills and Little Venice. George picked us up from the ferry port and dropped off to the airport. That was a big plus to them.

Stairs were narrow for carrying suitcases and our room was a bit small. These are not "dislikes" for us but good to know for other potential visitors.Location was perfect maybe 100-150 meters to the windmills and Little Venice. Booking the room here, we were not totally sure what to expect, but the few photos looked nice, the location seemed centralized and the price was pretty good. Upon arriving and staying however, it couldn't have been better. Landing in Mykonos, we realized we had forgot to call and arrange to be picked up, which Giorgos the owner is more than glad to do, and had to wait about 45 minutes for an available taxi. When we finally reached the hotel, Giorgos greeted us, showed us our room and answered any of the questions we had. The room was quite nice and charming, and had a balcony, fridge, tv, wifi, etc all good things. If walk all the way upstairs, theres an awesome rooftop patio to hang out on as well. Onto the location, it was incredibly convenient. If you plan on going to the beaches or clubs, day or night, you're a minutes stumble from the bus station. Likewise if you plan on exploring, shopping or going out in Mykonos Town, its just a minutes walk to the main streets and center of town. One more amenity Orpheas offers would be Giorgos himself. Yes he'll drive you to the airport and what not, but he's a great source of info, recommendations, and some pretty awesome local connections to restaurants/bars/clubs if you ask. Overall, I had an awesome stay and I know where I'm going if I go back.

When you are traveling on a budget you don't expect much but this hotel is great value for money. The location downtown is perfect 1 minute walk from the bus station where you can take a bus to any of the beaches on the south of the island. George picked me up from the airport and was absolutely lovely to deal with, so was Kristina who checked me in at the hotel.

These rooms are more so apartment style, they are of course not the newest, but for the price they are great and the rooms have a lot of charm and a nice rustic feel to them. I really enjoyed my short stay here, I moved to another hotel to join friends afterwards but I sort of wished I stayed as the hotel we booked afterwards (Sofia Village) was a 7 minute uphill walk from downtown, which doesn't sound too bad but in 35 degree heat it gets tiring!

Overall highly recommend staying here!

We got a budget room which meant it was in the basement area of the town-house set up. It got quite noisy at time as the sound was really amplified down there and we could clearly hear the people in the rooms next to us. Bathroom and beds were tiny (I am glad I am not a tall person).

On the positive side we were given free transportation from the port to the rooms and back again. Giorgos the driver was really nice. The staff in the reception were also very helpful and pointed out some great spots and good places to visit. The location is excellent - right in Mykonos town and the wifi worked well!

This place is a total gem! George--one of the owners--picked us up from the port and said, "for the next three days, we are going to be like brothers and sisters." We had an ensuite room for 4. It was really tiny, but cozy and had everything we needed. The location is unbeatable--a 60 second walk to the windmills on the shoreline and easy access to Mykonos town center, lots of shops and restaurants, the bus station, and ATV rentals. Because Mykonos is most alive at night and the main means of transport are ATVs and scooters, it can be loud of night if you're trying to sleep. Just bring ear plugs. I highly recommend going to the crepe stand next door. Get the Bueno filling and your life will change forever.

Location within walking distance of Mykonos town. George and his wife was great! Recommended us places to visit and to eat at. Room was very pretty, with a nice view of the greenery and sea from the small balcony! Room and toilet was a bit small, would have preferred a more spacious room. But great experience overall!

The owner, George, was incredibly sweet, and very helpful-- he gave us restaurants to go to both in Mykonos Town and on some of the beaches which were all good food for a good price, recommended beaches that were fun, and even answered questions about renting ATVs or scooters. Our room was great, with a beautiful ocean view, and very clean and pleasant. The location is a couple minutes walk from the bus station, which will take you to most beaches, to the old port, where you can get boats out to Delos, and to the town center. We were happy to extend our stay by a day. Would absolutely stay here again.
