Hotel Sourmeli Garden

The hotel is the perfect location, just 5-10 min downhill walk from the main town (harder on the way up, maybe about 15 min), bus stop to paradise beach, clubs etc. Great hospitality, rooms are average (close your windows, we had some problems with bugs), clean, TV and mini fridge. Not worth spending money on the breakfast there ( 10$ CAD that only included coffee/tea/juice, greek yogurt, toast, butter, and jams), you can just walk into town there is a bakery with lots of variety. Overall if you are on a budget this is an excellent stay if you dont want to break the bank.

There are many nice things I can tell about this place, like the location is very good: easy walking distance to center yet the rooms are quiet so you can sleep well. Rooms are simple but comfortable. But mostly if you want good hospitality, kindness, warm welcome, information about town or any sort of guidance, this is the place! My special thanks to Giannis the hotel manager for making our vacation more enjoyable.

This hotel is very well located. It is a little walk from the village center which makes it to a calm place that is easy accessible from the busy village. There was a very warm welcome from the receptionist, the room had lots of storage space, was clean with a big bed.

There were two nights though where we didn't have hot water. To be fair, we arrived very late at the hotel but we were still very surprised not to have hot water.

Also, it would have helped if they advertised the shuttle service from the port to the hotel. We spent a lot of time waiting for a taxi at the port - obviously we would have much rather spent that time at the beach :)

We stayed as a group of students looking for a nice beach holiday that wasn't too expensive and Sourmeli Garden was perfect. The owner was beyond helpful and made us feel so welcome. The hotel is set out beautifully and served all our needs. It's just outside the town centre but the two minute walk means it's quieter at night and feels a bit safer. There's room to park quad bikes too. We were picked up from the airport at 6am and dropped off at the end of the holiday. I can't recommend Sourmeli Garden enough - the best of Greek hospitality for incredible value. Would love to go again!

We stayed 3 night is this marvelous small hotel. They pick us up at the port and make our stay very pleasant. The owner, his son and Nelly are very friendly and kind people.
The room is beautiful and has a small beautiful terrace.
The location of the hotel is very good, it's close to the Chora (10 minutes by walk) but in a very quiet place, so you can sleep very well.
If we come back to Mykonos we will repeat in this hotel.

Our 3rd stay with this fantastic family. We stayed for two weeks at this small family run hotel. Giannis collects you from the airport, or port, and that's when we feel back home.

We have now become firm friends with the family who treat you like people not a room number. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the lady who services them daily is a delight.

If you are staying in Mykonos, and want a hotel close to town, then this is the place for short or long stays.

Best hotel to stay in while in Mykonos. Friendly staff, family owned. Walking distance to town. Safe. Clean rooms. Will definitely stay here again. Cheap for the great hospitality. Cute ambiance. Family lives on the hotel grounds.
