Neat little museum, worth a visit.Check out the opening times before you go looking. It is tricky to find in the middle of town but worth the effort.

The most interesting stuff is a series of ship models from ancient times to fairly modern ships. This was accompanied by misc items, a light house beacon and some cannons.

This is an interesting place to visit if you are into maritime history and antiques. It is a small place in the middle of Mykonos and is very hard to find. We used the gps on a cell phone and got lost a couple of times while looking. But it is interesting to see old coins, bells, and other maritime items. There is an indoor and outdoor part and for 4 euros its not a bad way to spend an hour or two.

Most people walk right by this little building with the canon outside, not realizing what they're missing. It sits along the most trafficked part of the island. During the day, it's folks hurrying to the upscale shops, in the evening it's partiers at the surrounding clubs and bars. But if you go inside you'll learn not just the maritime history of the island, but though and out the rear you'll find sheer joy in the quiet solitude of its well kept garden, complete with the actual "light" from Mykonos old lighthouse.
