My wife and I recently spent a week at this hotel. We thought the facilities first class and the staff delightful. It affords easy access, moreover, to the delightful old town centre. An excellent hotel, to which we hope to return.

In our way to Lefkada we did a stopover in Corfu City for a night at the Palace Hotel. Nice classic hotel, wonderful staff. Dining room, reception area and pool area seems to be recently renovated and breakfast buffet is wonderful. On the other hand, the room we had was poorly furnished with 2nd world war kind of very old furniture in bad shape, just 1 hidden outlet. Bathroom is nice and clean.

Waking up to a glorious sunrise across the ocean, having a nice hot shower with good water pressure and then sitting down to a hearty buffet breakfast really puts a smile on one's face. What a great way to start the day! The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Furnishing are tasteful and the staff most obliging. Reception staff are knowledgeable, extremely helpful and most welcoming. The view from the balcony is beautiful, we spent hours just watching the light change and reflect off the fort and sea. Very tranquil and relaxing accommodation. Within easy walking distance to the Old Town, we would highly recommended this hotel.

I booked the hotel through Thomas Cook holidays and was thoroughly please when I arrived after a very early morning flight. The receptionists were charming and booked me in very efficientlly, they also checked if my room was ready which it was, so I was able to go and get some sleep straight away.
Whilst I was initially very pleased with my room, I soon discovered that there were a couple of sharp nails sticking out of the floor and there was a faulty electrical lead on the bedside light. I alerted reception to this, and was pleasantly surprised to offered a change of room straight away. The new room was actually an upgrade and was very nice.
Something that is definitely worth mentioning are the superb views of Garitsa Bay, and across to the mainland that all the rooms have.
Breakfast was good with a large variety of breads, cold cuts, cheese, jams, pastries and cooked food although it has to be noted that the cooked offerings were rarely more than just warm. The famous juice maker was working well and provided lovely freshly squeezed orange juice. The machine coffee and chocolate were fine, although if you waited the staff would offer to get whatever coffee you wanted from the bar. In fine weather it is lovely to be able to sit on the terrace outside and enjoy the sunshine.
The hotel restaurant is not very good value compared to other restaurants in town, although I did eat there once and had a very good fillet steak. Bar prices at the hotel are similarly on the high side - a glass of wine cost €6 where a similar glass in town was around €3, but then this is a classy hotel and you have to expect higher prices.
Overall the service levels at the hotel were high, staff were pleasant and the hotel itself and the pool area was lovely. Sadly the outdoor seating was not very comfortable and could do with the provision of thicker cushions or simply better furniture.
The location of the hotel is good - it is about fifteen minutes walk to the Liston.

Our grandson was rushed to Corfu hospital the night before we were due to fly home so we needed somewhere to stay close by. Our car rental company recommended the Corfu Palace and we were so pleased that they did. We got lovely rooms on the 6th floor at a very good price and the staff could not have been more helpful and caring. The views from the balcony were just stunning and for that reason alone we would go back to the hotel again. Beds were very comfortable, rooms well equipped and breakfast buffet was fine. The indoor and outdoor pools were lovely and the hotel was only a short walk into the Old Town where we were spoilt for choice for places to eat. Overall we thought that it was a great place to stay.

Just got back from a 5 night stay with my son, room was clean & very comfortable with a superb sea view from our 5th floor balcony, there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which was a minor negative. The outside pool was filled with seawater during our stay (start of the season) and was great for knocking out a few lengths, the indoor pool is also seawater but handy if the weather is a bit chilly, the sauna & hot tub are very dated & you will be stung an extra 15 euros to use them, we didn't bother. Breakfast was included and there was cooked bacon & eggs etc along with fruit & pastries on offer, it set us up perfectly each day!
I booked through Expedia & got a very good deal and I can honestly say I would use the hotel again although in some areas it looks a bit dated but overall it hit the spot.
