We stayed here just 1 night but it was a highlight for us after a busy traveling vacation around Greece. The hotel has class and style and all rooms have sea views although the upper floors have much better views. The spa was excellent but the highlight was the beautiful pool area with soooo many flowers, very beautiful, very relaxing day or night. Short walk to the old town. Most of the guests seemed to be English couples in their 60s - that is the flavor of the place!

Room Tip: Higher floors have better sea views

We stayed in the Corfu Palace Hotel for one night (Sun.29th June) in room 316.
We were transferring from a villa and did not want the taxi ride to the airport on the Monday morning. The room was spacious with a balcony and sea views, a marble bathroom and mini-bar. As we just tuned-up we paid the rack rate of 170 euros for B&B: not cheap, but worth the comfort and convenience. It meant we were free to eat on the esplanade in the evening and take a leisurely stroll around town. On the Monday morning we had a leisurely full breakfast, packed, and sauntered round to the airport, less than 20 minutes walk away. It served our purpose well and made a grand end to our stay on Corfu.

Room Tip: We think ALL rooms have a sea view. Book in advance if you can to avoid the rack rate and get a be...

Whilst I'm aware that some reviewers have remarked that this hotel was somewhat "tired"; I'm sure that such a comment could be applied to so many hotels in Greece in their present difficult economic times.
Nevertheless, I must say that such comments about the Corfu Palace I believe to be largely overstated. There is still plenty of evidence of luxury and comfort in a wonderful setting. The views from every room across the bay are stunning; and the setting on the terrace for dinner was beautiful. Above all, the friendliness of the staff and their great willingness to help, made our week's stay very enjoyable. This comment applies from Alexandros, the Manager, Demitrios the Head Waiter, especially, but also down through all levels. We would definitely intend visiting again and would express our thanks to the hotel staff for "going that extra mile" in making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and loved it. Hotel is nicely located, it occupies quite a big area, with private parking, swimming pool, floral garden, fitness center, spa, etc. Dining room is large and overlooks the sea, you can also sit outside and enjoy the breakfast. There is a wide choice of food and aged waiters add more charm to the place. My room was large, with balcony and sea view, bathroom very clean and wide. Overall I am content with friendly staff, service and relaxing atmosphere. Recommend !!!

Had an issue with a senior member of food & beverages staff,he was verbally aggressive, this over not being able to obtain a drink from the hotel bar after an evening out & being told to go out to the pool bar. We thought the staff were there for our convenience & not theirs! Spoke to the hotel manager the following day to complain about the appalling manner in which we had been spoken to. Later that day a bottle of champagne had been left in our room & the next day we received an invitation to the managers cocktail party. Initially we thought this was an extremely nice gesture, unfortunately the manager did not come back to us regarding our complaint, therefore providing no resolution to a serious incident. Obviously he felt the two "gifts" were enough. We neither opened the champagne nor attended the party. There did appear to be an underlying arrogance, especially with a small number of restaurant staff,a lack of continuity when serving guests. It seemed you were either treated with gold standard or substandard service.
We paid a great deal of money to stay at this hotel but certainly did not receive a level of customer service & courtesy that you would rightly expect.
Have stayed in 3* hotels & received exceptional service.
Do not usually go holiday to complain. A very unpleasant experience, especially when your on holiday to relax. Chris W

My wife and I have just spent 10 days at this hotel with Thomson. The hotel is tired and need updating. The breakfast is not 5 star but average and the bar prices are staggering which may explain why it was nearly empty most nights. On day one we had to request our room was serviced again as the bed was scruffy and some towels had not been replaced and has for not being able to flush paper down the loo you would think they would empty the bin daily which they did not.
I would say that the weekly barbeque food was excellent albeit the whole night was expensive. needless to say we won't return to this hotel or Corfu again.

Just back from a weeks stay at Corfu Palace. Like other reviews this hotel is dated but if you are looking for a relaxing holiday I would recommend. Not busy round the pool, no issues finding a sunbed, even although some were reserved. We booked B&B but the hotel had a "gourmet arrangement" cost was 48 euros per couple but had to take for a minimum 3 nights, we did take this offer but to be honest we found that you can find cheaper and better food in town, recommend "Eatily"next to supermarket great price and food superb. Although the service was good I felt at dinner we were rushed......given the bill before even having finished dessert. I agree with other reviews that the entertainment is boring needs reviewed. Most of the guests are older and return year after year, did notice that staff give a lot of attention to these returning guests. This may give negative vibes but we did enjoy our holiday.

Room Tip: All have sea view but the higher the better. I emailed our request and was given a superb room on th...
