I loved this hotel. We arrived very late at night absolutely starving (airport snafus meant we didn't have time to have dinner at the airport as planned), and when we got to the room there was a gorgeous spread of snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us on a lovely dining table. Best first impression of a hotel room ever. Second best impression was waking up the next morning and taking in the spectacular ocean front view.
We stayed on the 4th floor in a corner executive suite, offering 200 degree ocean views. The veranda is enormous and wraps around the entire suite, and is appointed with a table, chairs, discrete collapsible laundry rack, and lovely, comfy, romantic daybed. We spent many hours relaxing on the veranda and listening to the waves and music from below.
The hotel is perfectly situated at the beach and in very close walking distance to several tavernas and markets. Wi-fi was rock solid.
The room itself was very large, with a sofa seating area, dining area, king bed, and good-sized bathroom. Everything was clean and very attractive. The air conditioner was spectacular - more than capable of keeping the suite at a very comfortable temperature no matter how hot it was outside.
The breakfast is a very impressive continental breakfast; great variety of genuinely tasty options. The room service and dinner menus are far more limited and frankly a little underwhelming. We only ate from that menu once and found the food disappointingly bland.
Note: there is no dedicated parking. Not an issue for most, and frankly, it's hotel in Greece: parking was unlikely anyway. Street parking was surprisingly easy to find, though.
The only real flaw was the bathroom. There was a strange septic odor in the bathroom that intensified when the door was closed. Leaving the door to the bathroom open allowed the odor to dissipate without tainting the air in the whole suite. Also, the shower. The showerhead is a wand type that sits in an adjustable bracket, which in turn slides on a rod. Common hotel type shower. Unfortunately, the bracket was not strong enough to stop the water pressure from continuously changing the position of the showerhead. I first discovered this when I turned the shower on from outside the shower/tub, and was instantly drenched with unheated water. Not fun. Actually taking a shower required constant adjustment to the showerhead. An annoyance at most, but worth noting.
Of all our Greek hotel experiences, this one was by far our favorite.
