Nyungwe Forest Lodge
Certificate of Excellence

Everything perfect.
Except for expensive wine. Compared to the wine quality and the overall standard of the Lodge.

Can especially recommend the Spa. And all the guided activities, including the guided tour at the local Tea Factory......

It was a great place to stay while primate trekking. The main building and guest rooms have a great design sense. The staff was awesome -- very helpful and engaging. Food was very good. I love the way the grounds are all part of the tea plantation providing great ambience.

This truly is a first class property. Set on tea plantation the vistas are magnificent. The staff is very accommodating, both at reception and in restaurant, and interior decorating and architecture is very interesting. From small things like hot hand towels at arrival to heated towel racks to big things like location and feeling like you are in a special place the Forest Lege cannot be beat. Five stars and wish there were more!

This is without a doubt, a five star lodge. The location is unbelievable. You are in the middle of
a vineyard that is surrounded by Nyungwe Forest. The nice thing is you are close to the canopy walk and the Colobus monkey trek. This was all arranged by Gorilla Trek Africa, after my gorilla experience in Volcanoes N.P. This lodge had bikes ( free of charge ), and a great swimming pool.
You will not be disappointed.

World class amenities await at this fabulous forest lodge! This place is a delight. Wonderful rooms, great service, excellent food. No expense was spared in the construction -- all the details are so well done. The architecture and setting are amazing. We greatly enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful place to stay.

When I arrived, the receptionist came out to greet me, from then on, she knew my name and accommodated all my requests and questions. Same for the rest of the staff. They knew me by name, my preferences, and showed 100% interest in helping me have the best possible stay.

The accommodations are clustered in a series of small out buildings, short walks from the lodge itself. The entire property is surrounded by a tea plantation and one morning when i left my suite the fields were full of workers picking tea.

Just a beautiful, beautiful spot; quiet, great views, wonderful staff, and very attractive accommodations. Couldn't ask for better, in any country.

Definitely the most beautiful hotel I have visited ! The design, quietness and service are stunning ! The hotel is situated in the middle of Tea fields and the forest. The view is amazing ! I strongly recommend anyone visiting Rwanda to visit the forest as well as the hotel.

Room Tip: No tip needed, everything's just perfect. Let them take care of you and relax !
