Perfect. Quiet. You can swim from the Hotel but its not suitable for children to get in as you go down a ladder from the platform and it's deep. But the main beach is 10 min walk. Lots of places to eat along beachfront. lucious green island. The owner picked us up in her car from the ferry.

This hotel is beautifully situated right above the clear blue waters of the Aegean. It is only a short walk from the ferry terminal and the tavernas and bars along the waterfront. The dining area overlooks the Aegean and the island of Aegina beyond - a great place to hand out for breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and the whole place is extremely tastefully furnished and absolutely spotless. Our family stayed in one of the duplex "maisonnettes" Its small balcony is as delightful as it appears in the pictures. The staff were warm and friendly. The owner Lia went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. This place is magical and we would return in a heartbeat.

The location of this hotel is what sets its apart from those in town. Set slightly up from the port on a hillside, the views over the sea really were delightful. The hotel bar - with its terraces down to the sea and comfortable bean bags to soak in the atmosphere - has to be one of the best I have had the fortune to sup at and breakfast on the terrace, while basic, was ample and with a view to die for. The hotel is no more than a 5 minute walk from the ferry port or the bus stop (for the fast dolphin ferries from Milos) and the moment you step off the boat you are in a different world. We went for a couple of nights just as the season was coming to an end so the island was quiet, extremely quiet, but there were still a good few places open to eat and the weather was good enough for lazy days on the beaches. There is a swimming platform for guests to take advantage of that amazing sea and the rooms were lovely - all with sea view, very clean and functional. I really couldn't recommend it highly enough and would absolutely visit again. Just my kind of place, with a price to match.

Were fortunate enough with my wife to find this heavenly place to spend the night after a) having abandoned our previous depressing hotel and b) having spent the day trying to find a place to swim (beaches in Angistri are non-existent or very difficult to reach) or to eat (tavernas in Angistri close in the afternoon and open again in the evening, just like in Paris or Berlin...). The hotel is a few steps from the port (and the only accessible beach), next to some other establishments that cater for lower-middle class English tourists. It is also the only place on the island decorated with taste, where you can relax a bit and enjoy the view. There is a dock in front, down some steps, with some sun chairs and umbrellas, where you can pretend to enjoy the sun - although getting into the sea is not so easy, especially when the wind gets stronger. The food in the hotel restaurant is OK, the staff friendly and the overall experience very very good. As I said we were very lucky to find a room late in the evening and the nice lady who owns the place offered us a fair price. The rooms are the best feature of the hotel, large and pleasant, with a great view - one feels like on a different island. Breakfast (at 7 Euros a person) is also absolutely worth it. To conclude, if you can't avoid vacationing in Angistri there is really no other hotel option to consider other than Kekrifalia.

as the agistri island located quite close to athens, it's being one of the beloved and modestly priced destination for a weekend for us, even in winter, we just hop on a dolphin and disembark in the agistri port after an hour. the amount that we would spend for a weekend for the two of us, including the dolphin tickets, dinners and an overnight hotel, would be the same we spend during a weekend in athens.
to be honest we never regretted we couldn't find a spare room in our regular hotel, as that was the reason that i found the kekrifalia. this hotel is special. our room was a basically furnished, decently sized but very well maintained room with all the standard amenities. what makes the hotel differ from others is the outdoor territory. many people would say that absence of a regular sandy beach is a drawback, however i wouldn't say so. access to the sea is very easy, the hotel has its private beach. the deck is perfectly organized and can be accessed directly from the veranda.

i don't know if all the rooms had balcony overlooking the sea, but i would advise to book such room. the view we had was absolutely stunning. in general it was a very romantic and quiet place to spend a weekend.

The hotel is in an amazing position with beautiful sea views. It is a very short walk from the ferry and the village of skala where there are plenty of great places to eat. The outdoor seating areas are really beautiful-all done in a stylish way making the most of the view and that same view can be enjoyed while eating breakfast/dinner.There is a bathing platform allowing access to the sea and Lia was on hand with advice. The service was great. We stayed in a maisonette with a lovely balcony. The bedroom area itself was small but a lovely view lying in bed and looking directly out to aegina in the distance. The bathrooms are done to a very high standard and it was great to have a fridge in the room. Breakfast is good-a buffet with omlette, bread, meats, cheese, pancakes, cake, yoghurt and honey and cereals. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We've just come back from Greece & i had to leave a lovely review for this hotel. We arrived in agistri without a hotel booking, we looked at a few places & settled on a cheap €40 a night place but it ended up being a false economy bcos there was no hot water & the balcony lacked privacy. We went for a wonder & found this place by accident. We loved it so much we came back for dinner & stayed there for the rest of our time on the island. The views & food was lovely, the service was super friendly & Lia really made us feel special at all times. We highly recommend staying here if you want somewhere romantic and well priced. We found the restaurant prices the same as the tavernas down the road but the food was amazing and the setting a lot more romantic with the dramatic cliffs, candle light & chill out music. Highly recommended.
