I just came back from a lovely 1-night stay at Laza Beach. Mr. Tassos, the owner, is very friendly, accommodating and ready to help! He will pick you up and drop you off at the boat when you leave. He also offered us rides in to town to rent bikes, etc. and to figure out logistics on the island. The hotel is located just outside of Skala and is a pleasant walk to either Skala or Milo (the larger village). They have a taverna where his wife, mother and son cook - it's truly a family affair. The beach in front is nothing special but the sea views from the balcony are lovely. Be sure to ask for a room with a view.

Great value for money (we paid €45 for a triple room - this can be discounted for longer stays). Only minor complaint is that WIFI did not reach into top floor room, but used the restaurant connection downstairs.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view (top floor, front building)

The owners are very friendly, the hotel has its own little beach right in front and it is a five minute walk to the main centre. The hotel was clean, with an outdoor shower you could use to rinse off after swimming in case you have already checked out.

A very friendly hotel, with owners who try to make guests feel welcome. The rate is ok for the current period (not including breakfast). We had a room with sea view. The area is quiet even though it is only 5 minutes walk from the village's centre. The restaurant offers delicious food in logical prices and enormous portions.
The only disadvantage is that even though we stayed for 3 nights the towels remained the same.
I;ll return!

Room tip: ask for the room No.13 or the adjusting one to have the sea view.

The rooms were cleaned everyday. When we said that there were Mosquitos, the owners had plugged in a mosquito repellent plug when we got back from a coffee. The location was great, near to the port and also other stores and restaurants. The beach in front of the hotel was pebbley, not the best, but u will have to scooter to other parts of the island for better beaches. The owner (dad) was very friendly, spoke English and the mom was a very good cook. They serve a garden salad with veggies straight from their garden, which was so yummy!! Really good skordilia sauce to go with fish! Great little inn!! Good value too! Thanks for the stay

We (а young couple) stayed there for 4 nights. Our room was on the 2nd floor with a nice view from the balcony: during the daytime it was blue sea and in the evenings - glowing lights near the island (Aegina).
The room was spacious with air conditioning and TV (but we didn't watch it, because we spent most of our time outside). The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bed linen and towels were very clean and white. Our room was cleaned every day and towels were changed every day too. Shower room and toilet were nice with a small minus - there wasn't a shower support so you had to hold the shower head in your hand.

The owners were attentive and responsible.

This hotel is conveniently located within 3 minute walk from the centre of Skala. There is a cafe and a small beach with free beach chairs near the hotel.

We loved this place and recommend it. Good conditions at a good price.
