My room was a decent size and clean. The hotel in general was clean and well decorated, if a little drab. I ate once, potato croquettes, very greasy and not very good. Located on a busy road access is difficult by foot but ok by car with adequate parking. Handy if you need to be in Lokeren but Gent is just down the motorway.

Room tip: Get a room at the back of the hotel away from the road

This was a surprising find. The buildings don't really look like a hotel. It's literarly only a few minutes from the highway though I wasn't disturbed by any motorway noise. The rooms were a good size and comfortable. I changed rooms as the first one only had a shower but that was no problem.
The TV was very strange, very chalenging to get it to turn on.
They have a good size restaurant that is a good standard.
Breakfast was served in a smaller side room and was fine.
If i need to stay in the area again I'd go back

The strangest hotel I have ever seen, I will explain below in the negative points.
I was struggling whether to put it as a Very good rating or a Average rating. Wasn't easy decision to make.

THE POSITIVES:
-Very nice rooms, spacious and ours even had a kitchen! Hallway was quiet, liftsvstairs, everything you expect from a decent hotel and more.(we stayed in their biggest suite)

-Very nice restaurant, lots of different table sizes for different guest sizes, singles, couples, families ect.

-Park outside for children

-Very pleasant and helpful staff

-Easy check out and check in.

NEGATIVE POINTS
- They often close during public holidays, for example Christmas, new year easter holidays ect ect Its the first hotel in the world I ever hear closes during holiday seasons!

-The booking process is odd, they only accept bookings direct with the hotel via email.
Everything is don't in email. A little bit strange, they sometimes cant tell you on the phone if they have a room or not, they have to wait for your email and credit card details, and THEN look to see if there is a room available!!!

-Childrens outside play park is just meters from the VERY busy main road with speeds of 70km.

-Reception area is very tiny, so if you are checking in our out with other guests you all struggle to find a waiting spot.

-Lifts are too small, a small family would have to take turns going up and down in the lifts

-No shopping mall within walking distance and nearest train station is at least a 35 minute walk.

-Price, way over priced for its location in the middle of nowhere but room quality tries to make up for that.

-

Room tip: Pick rear facing with terrace, as its away from the main road and quieter. Eat in the restaurant its nice.

Had been to this hotel on business trip. Was put up for 6 days. The property is very good and comfortable. Rooms are spacious and nicely made. The hotel is not located exactly in Lokeren town but is on the outskirts of the town. The view from the hotel is scenic and quiet. Ample parking space outside the hotel.

The breakfast spread was good but for my colleague, who is a vegetarian, the choices were very limited. Also, the restaurant menu has very few Veg choices. We has a cab at our service for all days, however, if one visits this place as a tourist, without any own vehicle, then getting here could be a challenge.

Overall, I am very much satisfied with the place and would visit again if business permits.

Room tip: The wifi in the room keeps on disconnecting. Need to log in every few minutes if not active.

Stayed in this hotel for one night on a business trip. It is a beautiful hotel to look at and the rooms are spacious and well decorated. The only gripe I had about my room was that the TV would not find a station. On returning from business meetings all day we had a beautiful dinner. All 3 of us has steak and it was cooked to perfection. The food came quickly but on 3 separate occasions the waiters forgot about our drinks after we ordered them. There is no 24 reception but there are vending machines in the hallways if thirsty or hungry. Breakfast was as expected and continental with not much on offer and staff were slow to replenish. All-in-all beautiful hotel, great food, service not so great.
