Like many families we took a lot of time reading reviews and searching for our summer holiday. We needed something that kept a 12 year and a 10 year old happy as well as ticking the boxes for us adults. We traveled at the end of August 2013.The hotel is very impressive and after a quick check in we were shown to our room.We did request a side river/mountain view but unfortunately had a view of the main gate,a little disappointed. The room was relatively small for a family of 4 with a sofa bed and a camp bed next to it to accommodate my 2 kids.Have to say the large double we had was great! Our first evening at dinner we made the mistake of eating inside, staff were struggling to clear plates and it felt like a very large canteen. However next night we ate outside,a completely different experience..we kept the same section and waiter for our stay, crossing his palm with a few TL,the service was excellent! We did try the teppanyaki one night which was more than worth the extra money. The pool area is large and even at the height of the season we didn't feel it was too packed.Whatever hotel you go to you get the towel leavers which is annoying but we got to the sunbeds about 9.30 and never had a problem getting 4 together. The slides are great. The lunch menus and outside dining areas are also very good.We did a couple of activities, which if you book together you can get a deal on.Evening entertainment was good but some sort of beech party that involved all ages of kids would have been great..some party nights had age restrictions..i don't get age restrictions when on holiday! So overall a lovely holiday..If you're looking for all inclusive and great food you won't go too far wrong here.I will probably spend a few months,as always looking for the next best holiday destination, but tbh i have a gut feeling that it might be the Hilton Dalaman again!

A second trip to this fabulous property did not disappoint! The weather was fab, the facilities in great shape (new waterslides were super!) and we left feeling very relaxed and well cared for. The place is immaculate and the staff were very friendly. The food is amazing - I have never seen such variety and quality, especially for vegetarians. We are missing the soup for breakfast! We will return....

Just returned from a week of refreshing holiday at this beautiful resort. The Hotel is excellent in all areas. The room was spacious for our family of 4 with large comfortable beds and excellent views of the river. The staff were exceptional in their effort to serve you. Turkish Hospitality at its best. Right from the bell boy to reception to waiters in the lavish Sarigerme restaurant.
The quality of food is exceptional and the range was unbelievable. They made an effort to please all taste and requirements. The lovely omelettes made for you in the morning to huge options at Lunch and Dinner made us put on weight. The staff took extra care for children and it was clear that it wasn't a training thing but a genuine interest in looking after you and making all efforts to make you comfortable.
facilities were immaculate and plenty and there was no queuing up for anything. The Kids entertainment and mini disco for young ones was really good. Mustafa the Kids entertainment chief was full of enthusiasm and loved playing with children and keeping them occupied be it the kids paradise or the pool.
Now the only negative points are the cold water in the outdoor pools which made it rather a waste of such wonderful resource and a little silly internet usage policy of getting a password from the reception area which would last only an hour. The indoor pools made up for the cold water problem.
I would love to go back there without any hesitation.

An impressive hotel from the moment you arrive, check-in was quick and efficient which is a welcome when arriving at 10pm. We were introduced to an excellent room which was spacious, well laid out and containing all the facilities you could ask for e.g. coffee making facilities, free safe and minibar, dressing gowns and slippers, and a very comfortable bed. Unfortunately we had been placed in Block A facing the hotel next door, which meant having to put up with very loud music until after midnight. If like us you are of the age group that prefer an early to bed, early to rise regime make sure you request Block A as this is by far a more peaceful side to the hotel. We did ask at reception if there was any chance of moving rooms and, despite the fact the hotel was pretty full with Scots (Scottish half term) and Turks (Feast of Sacrifice nine day celebration) they managed to find another room, albeit we had to wait another day. Whilst this room was slightly smaller it was as good as the first.
Wherever you went in the hotel the staff were superb, very attentive and friendly, as well as being extremely patient (and helpful with grammatical corrections) when confronted with attempts at the Turkish language. Also given that the hotel had a high level of Turkish guests as previously mentioned there was no feeling that they received any preferential treatment more that the staff provided the same service to all.
Talking to other guests at the hotel (and looking at some other reviews about this hotel) there are complaints about the food being cold, we did not find this to be the case. With the way the restaurant is laid out, the wide choice they have available for each sitting along with the size of the room, it was easy to find yourself selecting one item and then walking up and down the rest of the selection trying to decide what you actually wanted, which meant by the time you got back to your table the food would be cold. The trick is walk around, decide what you want, then pick up your plate and fill it with your choice, going straight back to your table.
It was a pleasant surprise to find that the evening entertainment was actually of a very high standard and diverse enough to accommodate all guests, the Turks, Scots, English, and all other nationalities would be clapping and joining in to the songs.
Whilst the location is very impressive i.e. you have the sea, a river winding up the side of the hotel and then the mountains in the background it is isolated. There is a village which is a 30 minute walk away but, whilst the residential side is genuine Turkey, the shops which are all on one street are pure tourist tack. If you are happy spending your holiday without leaving the hotel grounds then this is an excellent choice but if you like to sample the local area on your own you could be disappointed.
There are organised tours which can provide interest, and there are two local tour companies who are both excellent and significantly cheaper than when booking through your holiday rep. We went with Basket Tours for the Jeep Safari, with which the guide was very informative on the sites we visited, however be warned that this trip includes a water fight which involves the high powered water pistols so you need a towel and a change of clothes, it also started from the moment we left the local village.
We also went on the 12 Island tour with Panda Tours which is very relaxing and should not be missed, our trip included one Hungarian couple and a Turkish family of 16 and resulted in an afternoon of Turkish music and dancing which was an experience in itself.
Both trips were a full day and included lunch which were exceptional quality and drinks for sale were also reasonably priced.
I believe there are also some very good Turtle watch excursions but unfortunately we were not in the right time of season to experience
How good the staff were can also be demonstrated from how they performed on our fifth day when the area experienced a tornado, with heavy rain and thunder from very early hours, despite the problems this storm was causing the hotel with water leaking through windows (bearing in mind a hotel further down the coast was forced to close and will not reopen this season) the staff maintained a high level of service even arranging indoor entertainment in the evening and relaxing rules on bars on the ground floor where children were normally excluded, whilst leaving the rooftop bar for adults only, providing a refuge for anyone who preferred an environment without children. When the storm ended around mid afternoon the clean up exercise had to be seen to be believed with all excess water cleared from paths and debris collected within a couple of hours.
With the exception of a few very minor niggles and the isolation there is nothing you can find fault with this establishment and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering staying

Room Tip: All rooms are of a high quality but if you value peace and quiet ask to be placed in Block B

Fantastic hotel with great pools. They were a bit cold but then it was Oct. Small beach too which was nice. Food excellent and a host of other facilities (gym, sauna, bars etc) - all very well run with welcoming staff who seem to love children.

We have jsut returned from our first visit to Turkey. We went to this hotel on a recommendation from our friends. We were not disappointed. The hotel is absolutly fantastic. It is the best hotel we have stayed in and we have stayed in some first class hotels around the world. Food was first class do not bother to pay for the other restaurants they are not worth the money and you have so much choice at the buffet, something different ever night.
Staff can not do enough for you and it is a shame that people have to complain about anything but they do. Hotel spotlesss clean.
Weather gorgous in the high 30's most day but did get a little cooler in the evenings.
The only down size to this hotel was that you cannot swim in the pools because they are to cold, although there are 2 indoor pools but both were full of children with balls and lilos.
There are alot of areas for adults were children over the age of 16 are only aloud, even in the buffett restaurant which was very good.fidge is filled daily in your room even bootled water, branded drinks
Every think is included in the All inclusive package, no hidden extras.
We are seriously booking again next year.
Also went with Jet2Holidays and we got a better deal than Thompsons saved about £500

Room Tip: dont both to upgrade to a delux room garden rooms are bigger and have a lovely view over the river.

We had a lovely time at the Hilton resort. We went for 1 week and wished it was longer, so relaxing. We stayed in a deluxe room with direct access to the pool. This was a lovely room with loads of room for the 4 of us. Very clean and really enjoyed the lovely creations left by the cleaners using towels and petals.

The hotel is only 20 - 30 mins drive from Dalaman airport and reception staff were quick and efficient. Guest services were particularly helpful when my daughters glasses needed repaired.

The food was lovely and cannot imagine how anyone could find it repetitive. The desserts and cakes were works of art. The buffet dining area was kept very clean with chefs wandering around to ask any questions you may have regarding the food.

The grounds are lovely and especially pretty at night. The pools and slides were great fun - if a little cold.

Found the room to be very hot in the night but just opened the patio door and kept the insect net door shut. At it was pretty quiet and getting chilly in the evenings, I think the entertainment was being wound down but this wasn't a problem for us as quite happy to watch a movie in our room. We had films downloaded on our ipad and watched them through the flat screen television.

We didn't try the spa as found the prices too prohibitive.

Room Tip: We were in room 1264 which was an ideal location for us.
