“amazing holidays!”
Reviewed 28 September 2013

We absolutely LOVED our stay there! Here some info:
We booked one room in a bungalow and one in the main building (no more free rooms in the bungalows at that time), but on the day of our arrival nice lady at the reception asked if we don't mind having two rooms in the bungalow, one next to the other (of course!! great!!)

Main restaurant has a nice choice (breakfast and supper), but we've been to the hotels with better food and choice. Everything is all inclusive (you even don't need a wrist band),however if you want freshly squeezed orange juice on breakfast, you need topay 1,40 euro per person (added to your check, you pay on your last day). Every morning you can take water, fanta, coke etc after breakfast to fill up the mini bar in your room).
As for lunch, I suggest the beach restaurant, not the pool restaurant (better choice).
Drinks - weren't that bad, but the best was gin&tonic or rum&coke. Besides, you could get wine (red, white, rose) in carafes or beer etc to your supper.
BIG PLUS for water in bottels, avaliable 24/7 in the fridges at the bars and restaurants (even at tennis courts).
a la carte restaurants - three times a week (italian, fish and turkish). You need to sign up on the list one day before from 14:00 (don't be late, they have only 65 places at once, and there are many people!). Each dinner has 5 courses (including soup, main course and dessert - very nice food). A la carte restaurant is on the beach side (where the disco later on has place).
Ice cream at the bars every day.
Chess, backgammon, billard in the Turku Cafe.
MINUS - lack of good coffee... the best coffee was served on breakfast, and still wasn't top...

They provide very nice activities all along the day. HUGE THANKS to whole animation team!! Natali, Hugo, Sveta, Mehmet, Rostom - you guys are the best!! Beach volleyball twice every day (even there was volleyball when animation had a day off, on Monday), great morning gym with Natali, step aerobic with Hugo, etc.Nice shows at tnight at the stage (provided either by animation team or professsionals), live music every night close to the bars and main restaurant (sometiomes extra show there, like acrobatics from Kenya). Disco from 23:00 at the beach restaurant.

MINUS - for us at least ;) Not too many young people at the end of September, almost none. Disco was actually empty.

Nice water sports area. Hotel provides a "trip" around once a week, to see the ruins at their place. Every day a photographer takes photos, which you can buy for 6 euro each. Some shops with leather clothes, jewellery, minimarket etc. Not far from Sarigerme (few minute walk).
Nice tennis courts. Balls to be rented for free (don't know about the rackets, we had our own). You just need to sign up on the list on the tennis court to book one. You can have a lesson with a tennis instructor (but paid extra).

Beach is clean, sea isn't deep, it's clean. Lifeguard on duty on the beach and on the swimming pool.

Definately woth the money! :)

Room Tip: The closest bungalow to the sea is the "Kalkan" bungalow, but some people go through this...

We stayed here twice consequently for summer vacations in 2012 and 2013.
It's 20 min drive from Dalaman Airport. Nice animations and shows for children. Sea is not deep and very clean. So, you can keep your children in the sea with no worries.
Nice bar at the seaside with lots of drinks, snacks. Lunch is served as well. No need to go to the main restaurant. I bet the kids will love the free ice cream served all day :)

Enjoy !!

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms in "Kalkan" building which the closest one to the sea.

Very nice, clean beach front hotel. Sand beach and warm water.

Good selection of food and beverages.

Cons:

1) Have a strange policy of mandatory use of pants at dinner. I was even stopped at the entrance of the only restaurant one night. Why should I bring pants to a beach front resort? (I was not at a businesshotel in Zurich, neither going to the restaurant with swimming suit!) Moreover, there was not such information on their website or even in the voucher of the travel agency, I was informed at the reception desk.

2) Nice baby and kids pool. However the material used on the floor around the pools is very slippery and both my baby and several others fall constantly, injuring themselves. Simple covering the total area with the special mat they used only partially would solve the problem.

If you are a good tourist come and see the place for yourself! Great location, great service, great food unless you are a fussy eater and prefer you country cuisine! Entertainment for everyone young and old. Big green park! Big enough place that everyone can find quiet corner. Big on the environment in regards of solar panels and recycling. Home to turtles and nesting sites. Kiteboarding, windsurfing, sailing available on the lovely clean beach with a blue flag award. Tennis, bowels and gym etc and great swimming pools. The pool might be a bit busy with parents and their children during high season. No need for a slide! Many people come here time and time again! I have been to many places in this world, with and without children, four and five star. A very good four star * stay with four star behaved guests during my stay. Clientele is mainly turkish ( always a good sign to have the locals coming) german speaking tourists as well as russian speaking. I will come back!!!!

Been there 2 times. nice nature, wonderful and warm sea. But the price in 2013 is too high for this hotel. Not worth it. Especially meals. Some times you just cannot find that you may like. Pool is very simple, there is no waterslides or water massage. There is nowhere to go at the evening, Sarigerme is very small, and there is no good shops. Nearest interest places its OluDeniz and Marmaris, but its about 90 km to drive via mountains.

Room Tip: rooms in bungalows are quieter

I Can't believe that the bad reviewers have stayed in the same hotel as I did with my family during autumn half term break. The hotel is just great, very good staff, very good food, great pool, amazing beach, nice other guests - just the kids club was bit weak. But we will come back for sure.

We have stayed in Iber Hotel Sarıgerme in the beginning of July with my mom. The sea is wonderful and the rooms are clean and it is just that, nothing else. Comparing with the other hotels in the south coast, Iber Hotel is under average. And I agree tto the other comments, if you do not speak German, you dont have a chance to talk with the staff. The food is not really Tukish cusine, what you get is different types of fried meat and french fries every night. If you want to stay in a German hotel in Turkey you can go there
