“Fantastic holiday for adults and kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 December 2013

We really enjoyed this holiday, there was superb entertainment provided for the kids with activities taking place all day long and then a great entertainment package provided in the evenings. The food was of a good standard. Yes we did have the same thing within the two weeks we stayed there but this seemed to rotate each week, There was loads to do, both onsite and off. The entertainers worked ever so hard to make sure that the kids enjoyed themselves. Overall we would go back.

Room Tip: Pool side is really nice.

Holiday village sarigerme was the best holiday I have ever experienced. But definitely not a couples holiday. The only things I would fault is the rooms because of the size and not very comfortable and also the a la carte restaraunts ESPECIALLY the world grill!!!!!! Just don't bother. Overall very, very, very good.

Came first week of October for a wedding, the weather was poor,we paid 1500 pounds for two adults first impression was good very pretty grounds and reception area.we paid extra for a suite which had a huge bed it was clean a wardrobe n a small tv very small fridge very poor hair dryer. No tea n coffee facilities as it was a 5 minute walk to get one this was not good. Pool areas were large and clean you would always find a bed round one of the pools. The food was plentiful but very bad lay out of dining room made it complicated and lots of back n forth people trying to find what they wanted. there is a children's section which is good but a lot of parents let very young children help them selfs in both sections which led to lots of spills picking nibbling and putting back.the drinks were as expected hit and miss for alcohol some very weak spirits n water down beer but soft drinks were branded n fridges with water at the bars which was good.the entertainment was great for kids always something for them somewhere on site but this place is geared up for children there is nothing for adults whatsoever there is a so called adults bar where a rep sits with a lap top playing joke songs and karaoke which consists of one guest getting to sing then he lets the reps sing what they all like then it's Done, worst entertainment I have ever been to.the resort is about 20 minutes walk away a few bars n shops it worth a visit but there really isn't much to see on foot quite isolated place.if you have children n like to sit by a pool all day n not see or experience anything of the country your in you will like it here as you are basically trapped in this hotel with lots of children running round free food n drink all day no peace n quite anywhere to be found.the staff at the hotel are the most hard working I have ever came across I'm sure some of them were working 16 hour days with very little thank you'd from some of the guests.

Dear Guests,
Thank you very much for your feedback.
We are happy to read you liked our pretty grounds and reception area which as well as most of the hotel has undergone a brand new renovation ready for this summer. Particular attention has been paid to the restaurant and snack bar to create a better dining experience, also we have listened to our customer`s requests over the years and have now included tea and coffee making facilities in all the rooms as well as free Wi-Fi Access in all rooms an pubic areas, which will be a huge positive for most of our holiday makers.
Our hotel is advertised as a family hotel which is explained in detail in the brochure.
As you mentioned our staff are very hard working and go out their way to make your holiday an enjoyable one. Our staff, very much like Britain work 8 hour shifts and if they happen to do overtime they get paid accordingly, we are a professional company and could not have our staff workıng 16 hours in a day.
Our entertainment team try their best to cater for everyone’s needs, and as a result we have had many compliments about our team so are sad to read you didn’t enjoy your experience.
Again, thank you for your review.

Kind Regards,

Erol AKKUŞ

This was a great place to stay , my only critique would be tasteless drinks and village is too remote if you want to go on trips the trip to DALAMAN river ride and turtle beach was amazing 4x4 safari was brilliant best to book trips with outside organisers as In house trips take you to Turkish delight factories which are no more than shops,Jewellery outlets if you've got £££ to spend and a leather shop which though good quality was very expensive,Staff at the village were amazing especially the little old lady making pancakes I want to marry her. Oh the Blue Lagoon everyone raved about while the scenery and beach to look at was brilliant the beach consists of sharp stone under your feet not nice

Room Tip: All seemed good to me

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013

Stayed here in the 2013 summer holidays. 2 Adults and our 3 kids aged 14, 12 and 3. I was going to give this a 3, but that wouldn't have been fair as it has a lot going for it.
Arrived late at night. Very Short transfer which was handy. The accommodation / walkways are very basic. The rooms for 5 are the same as the rooms for 4 with a sofa bed thrown in. There really is not enough room to "swing a cat in".
The food ranged from poor to pretty good. You could always find somethig to eat. However I did get the dreaded "Turkish belly" but I think most of that was my own fault for over indulging in both the food and drink one day. What I will say though, is that the beer is absolutely foul. Had a couple late afternoon every day, which were bearable, but went flat after a couple of minutes. The beer in the evening went flat within seconds, and was pretty rotten. The pumps say it's Efes (which is a nice lager) but the barrels tell you it is another completely different type. The slushes were really nice and the rest of the drinks were fine. They have a barbeque night in the outside eating area where lunches are served. this seems to be the same menu every night, but it's nice for a change. Tried 2 of the A la Cartes - The Asian one was lovely - didn't rate the other one at all though. you have to book these on an automated terminal near the lobby bar.
The best bit of this village is undoubtedly when you step outside of the hotel building. The pools, grounds and facilities are outstanding and as good as the two Turkish 5 stars we have stayed at.
There is a lovely "Chill Out" area at the far end of the complex, which does toasties and salad during the day.

The pancakes are quite nice, but are a bit over-rated and probably not worth the queuing up for.

The sunbeds around the main pool area are all lined up side by side, and do give the impression of being hemmed in. Looking round I think the stories of reservations on here are not exagerated. Strangely enough when I came down with the towels between 8 and 9 the only places that had any beds left were by the lovely kids pool, which is where we needed to be anyway.

The whole First Choice team does work hard, with a smile on their faces, particularly the entertainment team. There really is a huge amount of activities going on all the time, especially during the day. numerous kids club. I might suggest the dressing up in costumes for the 3-5 year olds might need looking at, because it seemed to scare a lot of them, my own son included. Apart from one consistantly miserable and ownright ruse chap, most of the Turkish staff are nice. the Head receptionist was surprisingly good and happy.

There really isn't a lot to do off the complex. There's nowhere to really walk to apart from the village. There is a nice bar/restaurant on the left in the village which has a swimming pool with a diving board. This was good for a night out and was pretty good value as well. We went on the mud bath/turtle watch/beach trip with Basket Travel. They leave a little earlier to avoid queues at the baths. The guide Ken is really knowledgeable and a great guide. The beach is supposed to be one of the best in the world. It's not even close, but it's still a pretty good day out.

All in all, It's the first time I wasn't bothered about coming home. 10 days would have been good enough. Having said that my wife enjoyed it, and the kids had a real blast.
