Check in:
Met by friendly staff, were checked in quick and our bags were taken to our rooms for us.

Hotel amenities:
The hotel is huge and there was always room by the pool for us.
We were sold this holiday by TUI with the impression there would be lots for us to do as a couple which we discovered was not the case as the majority of activities were for under 16's and the hotels idea of adult entertainment was a quiz every night.
If you're an adult couple looking to just relax by the pool this will be good for you as that's all there really is for people over 16 to do.

Food:
The food was good but nothing wowed us as it became a bit repetitive.
On the 15th June we went to the Chinese restaurant and I had the chicken tikka and not long after felt unwell, this remained for the last couple days of our holiday. My partner then ate chicken tikka the evening after and became ill too, so be cautious of this.
Alcoholic drinks are watered down a lot.

Services:
The cleaners were so friendly and always said hello in the mornings, however would always leave the floor very wet after cleaning and we often found dust in places.
On 14th June, we returned to the hotel room at about 6pm to a huge puddle of water by the door. We phoned reception and after 30 mins the workman had a look at the aircon and then left. After nearly an hour we phoned again asking what was happening and were told to carry on our evening as it was being fixed - we should have been told this earlier! We returned later that evening (10pm) to a wet floor sign outside the room and an even bigger puddle inside! The aircon leak was fixed but had not been cleaned up and we were unaware of what had been done and if we could use the aircon. We cleaned the puddle ourselves and about an hour later someone turned up to clean it, we told them it was too late. So all in all the hotel team took over 5 hours to fix an issue rather than just moving our room.

Around the hotel:
14th june we went on the 12 island boat trip with basket travel - highly recommend this for everyone!
There's a village about a 20 minute walk away, highly recommend as there is loads of shops and restaurants, made for a great couple hours out.

Dear alj0501 - thank you for taking the time and writing a review about your recent holiday with us.
As you say, our resort is primarily designed for families although we are very happy to welcome couples and groups of adult friends.
We are glad to hear that you found our friendly staff at the Reception and our pools to your liking.
Please allow us to assure you that our drinks are not watered down. The bar staff will be happy to mix you a cocktail with less ice if you prefer. Guest comfort and satisfaction is a very important concern to us and our hotel is committed to making every possible effort to provide comfortable, clean and friendly accommodations. We appreciate feedback both negative and positive and we only wish you had addressed your concerns with our guest relations team whilst still on holiday. This would have given us the chance to try and put things right as we want everyone to enjoy their stay. We are only sorry it was not the case for you.

Perhaps the Holiday Village concept is not quite what you were expecting and therefore we hope you have happy holidays wherever you choose in the future.

Kind Regards,
Erol Akkuş

Check in quick had staff take our bags to our room which was nice, room with kids den was really nice and kept clean all week by the maid with fresh towels when needed, the safe is free and the TV's one in each room had a few channels for the kids to watch which was good while we got ready. Seven pools to choose from and four slides we always found a sun bed but people still got up at daft o clock to get the ones at the front right next to the pool even though it does state you can't reserve beds until 8. My kids did the kids club which they really enjoyed so many different activities for them to choose from every day and my son really enjoyed the football academy worth the money. All the staff that work here are friendly and work extremely hard to make sure that you enjoy your holiday. The food is the best I have ever had at an all-inclusive the is just so much to choose from basically food from 8am till midnight so. In the main restaurant where breakfast and tea is, there is a separate station from where the children can get there own food from breakfast there is cereals, toast, yoghurts, eggs, fresh pancakes, fruit and much more dinner is near the pool bar where they have pizza, burgers, pasta dishes, few meat dishes, rice, chips ,fruit, meat and cheeses, cakes and more the tea they have a themed night with lots to choose from we never went hungry. Drinks were always fizzy I had a few of the cocktails and the husband drank efes and Becks they kids enjoyed the non acholic cocktails. At night there is different areas to sit at which i thought was a good idea there is a amptherte where live and loud and the kids disco and then there is a chill out bar that plays music ,bar near to the pool with a dj who does quiz and karaoke and then theres the lobby which has sport channels on overallenjoyed our holiday and wished we had stayed longer than a week. The only thing which let it down was tui getting delayed till the next day so we missed out on a full day of our holiday which is very disappointing as the hotel itself is amazing and feel cheated out of spending our full time there
but that wasn't the hotels fault and if you want a family fun filled holiday something for everyone then this is the place

As far as the hotel and it's staff goes they can't do enough for you! Everyone is so pleasant and helpful.

We had the suite and it us spacious and quiet. Not ideal for toddlers though due to the steps in the middle of the suite.

We stayed by the relax pool and there was never an issue getting a bed any time of day.

The food was excellent with a wide choice of dishes. Only down side was there was not much choice for children's puddings. You could get ice creams but not in the restaurant.

Both the grill and spice restaurants we excellent. Can't comment on the Turkish as we never went. The Italian was dreadful last year to the point we walked out so did not visit this time.

The only issue we has with this hotel was the location. We did not like the town at all. The goods this year as usual were fake but not good. Letters peeling off glue all over shoes etc. Other than that you are very isolated.

We think this hotel is great as this is our third visit but 2 weeks is too much due to location.

Stayed for 1 week at the start of June with my family (2 adults, 2 kids - 10 & 6yrs).
Hotel had everything the kids needed. Pools, slides, football, ice creams, entertainment etc.
The main pool area was very crowded from very early in the morning. I guess people were either putting towels out before sunrise as there were never any available beds after breakfast.
Thankfully we had a junior suite room which come with a smaller quieter shared pool which was brilliant. Loads of space to relax and for the kids to play.
We just took the kids to the slides (3pm-5pm) opening and for ice creams when the stall opened. The quieter pool made it feel like we had an escape from the hustle and bustle of the main hotel areas.
The staff were ok but not as attentive or professional as we have experienced in other hotels in Turkey.
We stayed at the Pegasus Royal near Antalya a couple of years ago and the staff there were out of this world. So attentive, nothing was too much. The HV hotel staff should take note.
The cleaners were fantastic and worked tirelessly, the bar staff and restaurant staff were ok but not so attentive as I thought they would be.
Room was cleaned almost everyday and the hotel grounds were spotless.
Food was ok but the buffet does remind me of a school canteen.
We tried the a le carte restaurants but the children’s options were very limited and the adults options not much better. Personally I wouldn’t bother, only to get away from the buffet perhaps.
We had an ordeal coming home due to flight cancellation and the poor service we received from some TUI staff but that’s not the hotels fault of course.
Overall, I can’t fault the hotel. It was big, well equipped, good facilities, good food, good entertainment and all at a very affordable price.
The biggest negative for me was that it was 100% British holidaymakers. I’m not into the ‘brits abroad’ brigade, grown men walking around in football kits morning noon and night, families boozing all through the day, kids running riot, gluttonous mealtimes etc. That’s just not what I like to see when I’m on holiday and is only my personal preference of course.
Kids had a fantastic holiday and we had a good time but just felt it could’ve been better. Will try somewhere less British next year.
