We stayed in the apartment of the little broom, had everything on hand to be able to be independant for dinner and plenty of space for us and all our luggage, then Alison and Brenda would do up a wonderful cooked brekky for us each morning and give us hints on where to go to enjoy the wonders of the cotswold, would definitly recommend this b&b to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay

For us, this was a perfect B&B. For one, we were driving and there was plenty of car parking in the side yard. Although owner Brenda serves an amazing, hearty breakfast and there are many wonderful restaurants to try (Horse and Groom Village Inn, nearby in Upper Oddington), we used the full kitchen in our self catering room for a couple of nights. it was quite relaxing to cook a pizza in the oven, toss a salad, and open a bottle of wine while sitting in front of the floor to ceiling window that looks on the private back garden. If the weather had been a bit warmer, we could have sat outside on our own little patio.

The bed is good, there's fast and free internet, modern TV, wonderful atmosphere, homey, quaint, and clean as can be. Little Broom is home to a stunning English gardens. Attended by a giant owl sculpture made by her son, countless beds spill over with colorful planting flowers - all maintained by Brenda. The main stone house is so picturesque and we had to pinch ourselves that we were staying here. That hearty breakfast was served in a low, beamed ceiling room chock full of pictures, trophies and Brenda's life with her beloved horses. Plus, she not only cooks and serves the breakfast, Brenda makes nearly all the jam served with the toast - many tempting varieties. The woman has boundless energy. We did not use the heated pool, although it was available to us.

We found the location to be perfect tucked down a lane in Maugersbury, which is within easy walking distance of Stow-on-the-Wold. Little Broom was a great spot for enjoying the Cotswolds. We would never stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: Ask for the self catering room if you are staying for a few days and like to fix your own food.

Little Broom was once the stables for Maugersbury Manor. Character abounds! (I suspect the main building used to be thatched.) We had 3 rooms, variously appointed in English Cottage style, but all darling. Lovely gardens, with (surprise!) a heated swimming pool under a cover. Just slide the cover back, and step down into the pool. Plenty of private parking. Charming owner cooks breakfast to your order. She showed us pictures of old family race horses.
We walked into Stow-on-the-Wold down a lovely shaded lane. This is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation in the Cotswolds. What a treat!

Room Tip: Two rooms in the next building can be opened to make one large apartment, complete with glassed sitt...

The B&B is a very short 5 minute walk from the center of town. Brenda and her daughter are gracious hosts- cooked to order breakfasts and very helpful. The house and grounds are lovely. We stayed in one of the apartments behind the house and it was wonderful! Very spacious, huge comfortable bed, kitchen and even a washing machine. The B&B is next to the footpath that leads to other towns which was really fun to explore.

This is one of the loveliest B&B's we've ever stayed in! The owners surely must have taken a hospitality management course, because they had everything just perfect. The grounds were spectacular with very lush flowers and nice swing on the lawn to relax and listen to the doves coo. They also had a covered pool which was very refreshing. The room, very comfortable, well appointed, GREAT bed, tea in room, refrigerator. I would reccomend this Inn to anyone.

Room Tip: we had the stable end room, very private

We stayed in main house in June 2013. Bed was comfortable and room pretty but bit cramped. Cups in room were dusty which was a bit off putting. The promised Wifi did not work and Brenda couldnt help us with that. Gardens very pretty. Found Brenda very brusqe and a bit bossy. Lots of rules: Guests required to remove shoes before walking upstairs! She seemed put out that I didn't replace milk jug on the special coaster at breakfast!! Payment must be in cash or cheque. She wont accept credit card. On the other hand, her rhubarb was good!

We had a great time at this B&B for two nights in June. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious in her antique filled dining room. We bought a bottle of wine in Stow to enjoy in the beautiful gardens and appreciated the wine glasses available in the room.

Most of all, we arrived in the Cotswolds early one evening after picking up our car in Oxford without having yet purchased a good map of the Cotswolds. Brenda saved the following day by allowing us to use her detailed road map. She gave us a list of nearby towns as a day itinerary for our exploring. Her helpfulness was invaluable and gave us much needed driving confidence!

This B&B is highly recommended in every way.
