The good part, beautiful swimming pools and friendly staff. This was the hotel for a conference my husband attended next door. The staff did not seem to know how to handle us since it is an all-inclusive resort and wrist bands are issued to the guests, but we were never issued any wrist bands. The place was swarming with families with very young children, lots of babies and strollers. Our room was uncomfortably warm and when we asked about air conditioning we were told that the resort would not turn on its air conditioning system until June 15th. It was June 1. We left our patio door open at night to let in the cool air but the noise from the people partying at the pool bar was a nuisance. The food was so-so and got boring after just a couple of days since they didn't switch the buffet selections. They ran out of coffee cups at breakfast and the coffee machine was on the blink at least one morning. The beach connected to the resort cost 6E for 2 chairs and an umbrella and it was rocky, not sandy.

Having recently spent what can only be described as the most amazing holiday we have ever had as a family. I would recommend the Kipriotis village to anyone. As a party of 5 we where welcomed by a exceptionally clean and spacious apartment. The whole complex is well maintained and all staff are very welcoming. The food available was outstanding and we especially enjoyed the Greek restaurant. The pools and children's clubs provided excellent entertainment in what was the start of the season. All in all an amazing place with lots to see and do. We cant wait for our return next year.

the food is all ways cold and if you tell the staff they should walk away from you i would not rate this hotel as a 4 star more like a 3+ only. i eat cheese and bread for two weeks

i will not been going back

Room Tip: rooms back of the pool bar are quieter

We stayed here in 2014.
And also in 2008.
Both, 14 nights all inclusive.
The hotel is kept very clean, and all the staff are a credit to the hotel.
The food was quite repatative this time, but the quality was good.
Our room was kept clean, but was tired looking.
We had workmen in the next room from early morning till late afternoon for seven days of our stay, I understand maintenance has to be done, and a simple explanation of what was going on would of sufficed but wasn't given.
The staff in this hotel are very hard working and an absolute credit to the hotel.
The island is well worth a visit also.
I would visit both the island and hotel again.
Overall experience was good

I had a similar experience as the last reviewer. Was staying at this hotel with my husband and our 3 year-old son for 8 days, end of May/start of June, and towards the end of our stay the hotel started to feel crowded, with the staff having a hard time to keep up both at the bar/restaurants and with the room service (two days in a row our room was not made at all). And the staff at the reception were simply terrible, had a hard time to even smile or keep pleasant, one felt like intruding whenever one asked anything. I even witnessed a scene where the receptionist loudly sighed and rolled her eyes up in front of a guest because he didn't understand English.. never seen that before. So even if the hotel is located in a nice place with a nice beach (sun chairs not included in the all inc.), has nice swimming pools for kids, and even the food served was often tasty and varied (though I agree as the other reviewers that the "special" Greek restaurant one needs to do a reservation for, is completely meaningless - the same and better food is served at the main restaurant), the service and staff brought the whole experience down.

Room Tip: One that does not share a balcony with the room next to it - some of them do.

I just came back from 11days stay with my 5 years old daughter. The resort is fantastic for families with children. Rooms are simple, but spacious. The staff is professional and multinational. Quality of food is at a very high level, as well as cleaniness of the overall area. The animation program is excellent...Voro, thanks for the big fun with Zumba! We rented a bike and went to the Kos city, the infrastructure is good. I also suggest to rent a car and to make a trip around the island. The only disadvantage is the beach...but collecting stones is fun, as well :-)

We stayed here as a family May 25th ~ 2nd June. On arrival we were given the wrong room but got changed quickly. Reception staff friendly on arrival but felt they couldn't be bothered after that. Food was lovely in main restaurant, book up early to other restaurants if you want to eat at other restaurants as we could only get into the Greek one and it wasn't as good as the main buffet. We felt the evening entertainment was terrible!! Stuck in a dark room at the bottom of the hotel "no air con" and was a complete waste of time with no bar it did get better later on in the week but the kids really thought it was bad. We went to bingo one night where we had to pay €2 a square for a ticket, prizes were money off tokens for shops in resort. Our kids age 8 and 9 enjoyed the pools around the hotel, you need to put towels out early which I hate doing but if you want to be near to watching kids in pool it's a must as after 10am there isn't a space to be had. We ventured out to the neighbouring hotel where they advertised a water park "avoid" cost us €21 to get in and €3 a soft drink for 5 slides..we were told we could eat at the all inclusive buffet but got told off by manager at hotel that that wasn't the case!! Certainly not worth the €€€. Room was clean, cleaners very friendly and great at their job. Hotel overall is very good but needs more staff to deal with drinks at bars..que after Que even in restaurant where at times the Que was huge. Not great on your holidays and I'd hate to see what there like in peak summer.
Will be trying somewhere else next time.
