“Impressive hotel, Special Staff, an all inclusive stay with exceptions”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2014

An impressive hotel, which has been quantified by many previous reviews. The staff work hard to help and are a great representative of the Greek people, friendly welcoming and always willing to help. The rooms were roomy and clean and meticulously serviced every day by again friendly and helpful service team. I very rarely go all inclusive in Greece as I find the local areas accessible and the food exceptional, but the all inclusive package has many benefits these days especially for services during the day. The food in the hotel was very good although I too found the evening menu repetitive and was amazed of the lack of local dishes. This said it was always my intention to eat at the local tavernas and enjoy the taste of Greece but again was surprised how many had closed as a result of All Inclusive Hotels that don't serve local meals - go figure!
My only real criticism would be that the hotel has many exceptions to All Inclusive, and I can compare many other chains around the world that do it better. The 7th floor Loft bar from 2000 till late was not included, the bars from 2300 which then became pay as you drink, cocktails apart from 5 or so (the usual suspects - Pina Colada etc) and freshly squeezed orange juice! (1 euro). You do have access to other parts of the Kipriotis local chain as an all inclusive patron however you need to book and find out what each is doing as nothing is published.
I have enjoyed my stay at the Kipriotis, the staff have made it very enjoyable, although all inclusive should not mean everything any time I was somewhat dismayed not to be able to get a late drink within the package I had booked after 2300.

We arrived late on a Sunday evening and straight away we were very impressed with the building and the lobby looked amazing. However, when we went to check in we were abruptly told by the receptionist (Giannis?) that we are not booked in at the panorama hotel (despite all out jet2 confirmation stating we are in panorama) but we are in the Maris hotel. After 10 minutes of arguing we accepted as it was past midnight and wanted to go bed. Giannis said to come back at 9am when we could speak to the manager and move into the hotel.
At 9am we came with our suitcases to be rudely told the manager wasn't available until later and that the hotel is fully booked so come back tomorrow. We were very upset as the Maris hotel was a serious downgrade. We got on to head office of jet2 which managed to finally move us into the hotel the next day. We managed to get upgraded to all inclusive which was the only good point. We were never told why we were moved but jet2 suspected we were double booked which turned out to be the reason. I would strongly advise you double check with your travel company that you are actually in the hotel you think you're booked into!

The hotel itself is lovely, we were on the 7th floor stunning views, good food but boring after a few days so we walked along to road to kos town and ate a few times at the various tavernas. The pool areas were also very nice and clean, pool bar was also nice. Evening entertainment was the same each night which was a little boring but there was a few other bars in the kipiriotis complex you could go to.

We are very annoyed that our holiday started on a bad note and we will certainly not be returning after the staff wouldn't listen to our reasoning and complaints. Jet2 are currently taking action against the hotel finally!

Dear Customer

Thank you for taking time to post your review on Trip Advisor.

We would like to inform you that our variety program runs 10 days, for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Regarding the entertainment we assure you, as you probably have seen, that every night at our Main bar & pool terace there is a different program, with international and Greek songs-dances. Additionally as you have written the Kipriotis group has enough events in its hotels every night for of our clients.
We sincerely apologize that you found our staff rude which is totally against the majority of our guests regularly tell us. We understand the inconvenience you have met despite that the Maris is also 5 stars hotel and it is nice reading that you upgraded in All Inclusive board, which means that our staff has done everything was possible to keep you happy.

We hope that you will give us the opportunity in the near future to serve you on the high standards that Panorama kipritotis hotel & Suites is renowned for.

The Staff are amazing, always helpful and smiling. They Hotel has a Heart and a Soul I really enjoyed my stay there.
I stay in many Hotels because I travel with my work and I think I can say the above with good authority. Things are not perfect but I like that as it is nice to see people make typical human mistakes, it shows they are not Machines. Please don't change. This is the first Hotel where I left a Tip with The Manager to buy his Staff a small drink. We should remember when we travel that we are visiting another culture and Country, when we show them respect we got much more friendly value than we paid for. One word left FANTSTIC

Just back from the Panorama after a 10 night holiday.
Can't praise the hotel highly enough and it makes you wonder why some people write bad reviews when everything was perfect.
On arrival we were upgraded to a junior suite which was very spacious with a great sea view.
The accommodation was spotless with maid service every day and sheets changed every other day.
The weather was warm but tempered with a lovely breeze.
The staff were very friendly with special mentions going to Janet in the main bar area, Dio in the pool bar and Sara who worked between both.
The food was excellent with a fine selection of buffet style food which was always fresh and warm.
There was table service for the drinks with again wonderful staff with too many to mention.
Most hotels we have visited outside the UK with a 5 star rating are at best 3/4 star but the Panorama merits its top billing.
All in all a fantastic experience and we are already looking to book for a week in October.

The hotel was amazing, the staff were helpful & friendly. It was very clean with plenty of sunbeds by the pools, there was entertainment by the bar when we were there which was nice. You can bus to town but you can be waiting for a long time so it would easier to bike as its not far away.

Hotel looks very nice and has amazing views. The reception staff were very helpful especially Melina. We had a problem with the air conditioning in our room and she ensured we were moved to another room. She has a very pleasant personality, very polite & helpful with excellent customer service skills.
The hotel is spotless and very clean. The cleaners are efficient and greeted us cheerfully. The waiting staff in the restaurant gave very good service.I would like to mention Apostolos, waiting staff in the restaurant who went out of his way to serve us and made our holiday memorable.
We had wonderful holiday and will return back .

Room Tip: Pick a room on the sixth floor.

Luxurious reception, drink (orange juice) at the reception, very good facilities, two fairly large pools.
Sea view, quite distant. Good and large pools.
The distance of the sea ca 300 m. and the main road divides the hotel from the beach. The best solution the use of two pools.
Courteous staff, customer service. Despite the workload, several new people pooping quickly enough job.
The rooms are spacious enough for two or three people. The large suites. This is the big asset of this hotel. Plenty of land and luxurious interiors.
The only problem the old-style TVs (not LED).
Breakfast is good for five star hotel, the dinner was good enough and rich.

Room Tip: Better to choose the spacious suites.
