“Very nice hotel with beautiful rooms !!!”
Reviewed 17 January 2014

The hotel is definetly worth visiting. It has a very nice localization and great swimming pools. Hotel is only for guest above 16 years old so if someone looks for a quite zone he will definetly find it in Oceanis hotel.
It has beautiful and modern freshly renowated rooms. best rooms Ive seen in Greek hotels.
Many rooms and with private jacuzzis or swimming pools.
Food is very good, especially kebabs which are made every day in a beach restaurant.

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon and we were so pleased with it, it was very low key which was great for a honeymoon, although it would not be somewhere we would go to again as we like to have more to do.
The room was excellent, it was a Jacuzzi room with a sea view, cleaned daily and in a good position. The Jacuzzi could do with a deep clean or upgrade mind you, the inside of it felt of scaled water.
The staff were so friendly and always so happy, particularly Dragos in the restaurant and the lady at the pool bar who served up delicious crepes!
The food was excellent, we never had any illness and it was all very tasty food and a lot of variety.
The only downfalls really were the cocktails which you had to pay for (not all but some) which was surprising as we thought it was all inclusive, my favourite is Cosmopolitan and was a bit disappointed that was one you had to pay for! The other issue was internet access. You had to pay for it (15 euros for 24 hours) and we could not even receive the signal in our room and after having to pay it was disappointing.
Kos town had lots of shops and the bus stop is right outside the hotel, worth a visit. The turkey trip was also worth a visit to say you have been but that is about all. The hot springs were interesting but they smell and the beach and surroundings are very dirty - would not go back or recommend. The Aegan sea tour was good but a long day on a boat and not much else to see, again I'm glad we did it but would not do it again.
All in all it was a fantastic honeymoon and a very lovely hotel, however it would not be somewhere we would chose to stay again at least in the near future.

Room Tip: Jacuzzi room was very good and had a great sea view. Others said the pool rooms were not so good, p...

We've stayed in this hotel last summer.
It was a very nice and pleasant stay but there are some negative things as well.
To start off with the positive ones:
- Very nice room (we had the one with the pool)
- They clean your room every day and they clean it good!
- Friendly staff
- Fun things to do at the resort (different activities like water sports and such)

There were some things that annoyed me for example the whole concept of paying for a lots of things. It's "all-inclusive" but still you have to pay for a lot of cocktails... Also you only get the cheap liquor that sometimes doesn't taste very well.
Also they are trying to take every euro out of your pocket. You have to pay a lot of money for some internet... like come on, it's 2013!
The store on the resort is at least 2 times (sometimes even 3 times) more expensive then the stores around the corner (400/500meter walk).
A game of billiard costs €2 a game.
After paying such a huge amount of money for the stay I was very disappointed that everything was so expensive.

We had a very nice room with the pool but above us there was a working room/place thing where they kept all the tables and chairs and did all other kinds of stuff so we didn't had a good night rest. We slept during the day. We've complained about this but the only thing they could do was give a room without a pool. The difference between a normal and pool room was 1000 euro. So after paying 1000 euro extra for the room with a pool it wasn't a option leaving.

Another negative thing is the food. A lot of people liked it but I've almost never ate here. I have to admit that I'm not very easy with food because I don't like a lots of things. However, there wasn't much variety.

If I knew this I would choose a different hotel.

The reason why I give this hotel a 3/5 (average) is because we've payed a huge amount of money and the quality was very poor. Usually I'm very exited and I say a lots and lots of positive things but I wasn't happy about this stay.

Room Tip: Take the room with the pool if you have the money for it. It's definitely worth it!

All positive things you can read about 'Oceanis beach' are definitely true. The hotel is superclean! All public areas are thorougly cleaned every morning by a big group of cleaning ladies. It's almost funny to see. The rooms are really clean as well.. Every other day we found one of these nice towel animals on our bed.
At the buffets you can see that this is not a hotel for children. The food is of high quality, not fat and there's enough variation. Every other day there is a theme, such as greek, chinese, italian,... The a-la-carte restaurant is italian and was also very nice.
The location of the hotel is also very good. From the restaurant you can overlook the sea. It's very romantic and it gives you the perfect holiday feeling.
The staff is superfriendly. They take time to have a chat, try to say hello in your own language, are always smiling,...
This definitely is a hotel for people who do not like animation and noise. The animation consists of a fashion show, a fakir, a singer,... So definitely nothing 'wild' :)
The average age of the quests in this hotel is pretty high. But consequently, you can really enjoy a quiet and relaxing holiday!
We will definitely go back there!!

my wife and i stayed here for a week from 9/10/13 to 16/10/13 staying in an executive suite with private pool room 4106. even the most discerning people would find it hard to find faults with this outstanding hotel. from arrival where you are escorted to your room to departure where we had use of the vip lounge on the hotel roof the courtesy and service are superb.

our room was on 2 levels we had luxurious bath robes and slippers, 2 flat screen tvs a fridge and tea making facilities an enormous bed and air con. All of a high quality. the rooms are cleaned daily everything is changed tea facilities topped up and plenty of bottled water however only down side is that the private pool was very cold as it is in the shade for most of the day if we returned may will select a jacuzzi instead.

the food at the main restaurant is well prepared and varied, plenty of selections and table service for drinks etc really good. Every review mentions the amazing maitre d" Antonis and so they should, he is incredible somehow manages to talk with everyone and work at the same time the man is legendary!!! also a mention to the dancing waitress christina almost a female antonis but joins in with the entretainment at night. People like this make the holiday so much more enjoyable and both deserve their regular mentions in these reviews.

the bus from the hotel frontage goes straight into kos town for 1.50 each buy your ticket from the hotel shop as its cheaper. Kos town is beautiful with a bustling marina and a cafe society feel around it with a market so well worth a couple of visits. We hired bikes from the hotel and paid 10 euros for 2 bikes for the day but a car collects you at the hotel takes you to pick up the bikes and brings you back when you return. We turned left out of the hotel but be warned!!!!!!! after about 2 kms there is a substantial hill to climb we dismounted and walked up but near the top on the right is a bar which perches high up on the side of a cliff face, the steps are steep but with a cold beer in your hand and a view of turkey and the glistening sea in front of you trust me it was worth it!!

this hotel is dedicated to relaxing and chilling out couples with service, cleanliness and quality at the top of their menu. If this appeals to you then do not hesitate to book here as we did you will not regret it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: be wary of cold pools with executive suites

We came on a short break mid October and really enjoyed the atmosphere at this friendly hotel. Our room was a good size and we were lucky with the amazing sea view. Generally relaxed air about the place with staff doing their jobs and guests enjoying themselves. We got the most glorious weather and sitting outside for dinner is so great, it makes you feel good. Loved everything they had to offer, would return.
