Had 2 weeks Aug 12th to 26th, Found the Hotel ok, Rooms very clean, cleaned every day and bottles of water put in fridge, our A/C worked great, Food was great could not fault it and I am picky, good choice and well cooked, Drinks were good, cocktails and beer good, service was faultless in both the bar and restaurant, Evening entertainment was poor for Adults, Kids entertainment looked ok but our kids did not use it (3 and 9), Pool with slide was not very clean, upper Pool was alot cleaner and we spent our last week up there, tried the other 5* hotel for the a la cart meal, food looked nice but fixed menu spoilt it. Our room was on the highest block and the views looking out to Turkey were spectaclular, used the private beach at the bottom of the hill, sunbeds were free and only bottled water for the Family hotel guests but the 5* hotel guests were allowed anything, Hired car for a few days and travelled the island - would recommend Paridise beach. Good value for money, but remember its only a 3*+ Hotel in the brouchure for summer 2011, and that is what it is.

We have just got back from a week at the Panorama Family. Initially we were a little disappointed as we were told to book into the main hotel at the bottom, with 2 other families, only to find this was incorrect and had to be shuttled up to the Family at 5am in the morning . We found the rooms to be generous in size, very clean, aircon was good, and room service was excellent - the beds could have been a wee bit more comfy but this is the same at most hotels. The food was excellent, although the packed lunches for day trips could have been a bit better. Plenty of food, lots to choose from, and the desserts were delicious. We never used the sunbeds or the pool as we could never get a sunbed. The hotel info did say that guests were not supposed to reserve sunbeds but this was not the case, and we were not prepared to get up at the crack of dawn to put our towels on them. It was not really a problem for us as we did not stay on site most days. Entertainment was not that good. We did not stay at the club in the evenings as there was not much to stay for. Drinks were good though, especially the "blue lagoon". We stayed in room 1321 which was the 2nd block up the hill, it was hard work in the heat and we avoided the walk as much as possible. The staff were very good, only complaint was we were not told that we had to reserve the shower room on our last day and therefore missed the slots available, but they did finally agree to let us use it at 9pm, however there was only enough water ( a dribble) for one shower, there were four of us. Overall though, we were very happy, and would def recommend to families with younger children.

Just got back from Iberostar Panorama Family hotel. The best bits were the food (Excellent), the waterslides for the kids, large clean rooms with fantastic sea views. Although it is on a hill minibus's are always available to take you up or down the hill. Obviously as we were there at the hight of the season sun beds were an issue, as it was so hot I was having to get up as early as 7.30 to reserve sunbeds in the shade for the kids. The air conditioning in the rooms was ridiculous and we had a week of sleepless nights due to the heat and humidity. The animation team were friendly and good with the children but the evening entertainment was embarrassing to watch! The pool area is quiet dangerous and everyone was slipping on the wet tiles. The all inclusive is limited ice cream only available at certain times for the children, and the only snacks available when the restaurant was closed were a few sandwiches in the morning and cake in the afternoon, which you had to queue for and when it was gone it was gone. We personally wouldn,t go back.

travelled 5 aug to 19 Aug 2010 stayed in room 1615, yes it was up a small hill but not a problem and was needed after all the lovely meals & when we arrived in the early hours of the morning the staff were very helpful, & the mini bus took us to our room with a helpful driver. Food was laid on for late arrival & water in fridge every day.

Rooms cleaned daily, towels changed daily and always extras., rooms was big which is great with teenagers. My 2 teenagers were grateful for late breakfast tilme till 11am.

All food great something for everyone even fussy kids.

Two pools one busy one quiet, we stayed at the quiet one which was great and clean, yes can be slippy but so are most things with water on them.

The entertainment was mainly for the younger children, but I go for quality time with my family so that was not a problem & Kos was just up the road.

Bar staff were nice and pleasent we need to remember tha they work long hours in high temperatures and try smiling at the staff I find that always helps.

i seem to have been staying at the same time as previous reviews but you wouldn't think so.

yes I would recommend this hotel and I would go back tomorrow if I could.

I have no complaints and trust me I am the first one to complain if somethings not right...

good quality holiday & good quality time. Glad I went

We arrived at hotel and were given the very last room up the very steep hill (1625 avoid at all costs) which overlooked a yard with 2 JCBs and some cars with no wheels, outside of bedroom door was air conditioning unit that serviced the whole of the block, it clanked and whirred all night. We complained and asked to be moved which they did after my husband was called a liar by the reservations manager. The entairtainment is non existant we spent the full fortnight playing Uno which can get boring after a while. The only positive was the size and cleanliness of the rooms and the food which was very good.

Stayed for a week all inclusive at the apartments of this hotel. The apartments were a lot bigger than we were expecting and were cleaned to a high standard. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the lack of entertainment, though i must say that they do try!! The food was lovely and there was plenty of variety at all meal times. I would definatly go back to this hotel should we go to Kos again.

This hotel is definately not upto usual iberostar standards and is not 4*

Overall a little disappointed as the hotel was not as you would expect from an Iberostar hotel. You are allowed to use facilities at the partner hotel further down the hill which is called Iberostar Kipriotis which is 4*, but this does not include any meals or drinks if you are all inclusive, so if you do visit you will not be able to get any drinks etc. I think this was to discourage people from the panorama hotel from using the facilities.
If you do travel with any tour operators the reps cant be bothered to go to the panorama hotel and they do the visits to the hotels further down the hill and you are expected to walk down to them for welcome meetings or to answer any queries.

We found all the hotel Panorama reception and bar staff rude, unfriendly and dismissive with any query. Not something we have ever encountered in Greece before.

Overall the food was a ok there was a salad bar every day and hot food with around 4/5 choices but they did become a little repetitive towards the end of the week.

The entertainment and activities were a little bit Hi-De-Hi for our liking and the animation team were more interested in trying to harass you in to giving them your sunglasses, bags or anything else they had taken a liking to. The animation team tried to get people to join in games and activities sometimes a little over enthusiastically, the loud announcements and music around the pool was a bone of contention with some people.

The room we stayed in was close to the hotel and pool but I think we were lucky as many are up a very steep hill away from everything. They are very clean and comfortable.

The pool areas were not the best, there was a lack of sunbeds for the amount of guests and people tended to put towels out very early in order to guarantee a place by the pool.
We lay on a small grassy areas most of the week on towels. During our stay there was a strong smell of sewage around the pool with the water slides and towards the end of the week they began to dig a hole at the pool side hopefully to rectify this problem.
