Monique and Roland are the perfect hosts. They take care of everything, go out of their way to help you with any problem or request, and always with a smile. The rest of the staff are also great, always pleasant and smiling and helpful.
The house reef is fantastic, abundant with corals of all shapes and colors, turtles can be seen almost every time you go snorkeling or diving. The reef is great for both snorkeling and diving, which is not often the case.
The rooms are simple but nice and clean. The only bad thing I can say is about the matress on the bed which was thin and soft and not very comfortable.
We had a marvelous trip to the Philippines, and the A-B resort was our first wonderful taste of this beautiful and friendly country

Our stay at the Asian-Belgian resort was unparalleled. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and friendly (Monique, Roland, Daniel, Tom, and everyone else that helped us out) and did everything they could to make sure that our time there was pleasant...which it was. Thanks to Tom (the dive master...possible spelled Thom) the diving was excellent. I hadn't dived in about two years so he made sure to take it a bit slow while I got my bearings. Also the food....absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Philippino Breakfast (fish, rice, eggs, fruit, and coffee)...it made my mornings so happy. The omelettes were also to die for...especially the bacon and cheese. The location is great (two hours from cebu city..which was nice for us) and also offers the option of renting a motorbike for about 7 USD to travel to Panagsama....I also recommend this. If you are in the market for a tattoo check out Rick's Tattoo shop right on the main strip in Panagsama...then follow it up with some food/ a beer at Chili Bar. Anyway, hotel was great and I suggest you pick this one instead of any of the others. The end.

Room Tip: Pick any of them.

Easy accommodation, but really everything you need basically. You can order food all day long and the menu is quite nice. Diving equipment is of 1st class quality, no issues with that. Staff is really nice as well, really an easy going atmosphere. Town is quite far away, though if you drive here by car like we did it's only 15 minutes drive. Will come back to this place if I'm around again. Only remark I wanted to make, is that the beds would be much more comfortable with new and slightly better mattresses.

First, if you are a "party person", stay faaar away. This is NOT for you. If you are the type of person that wants to leave the world behind, truly relax and just forget ur troubles, this is the place for you. And if you are a diver on top of it all, then u won't find better! Do note though, this is not a five star hotel. Don't expect it to be! The rooms are bamboo huts. Basic but functional, as clean as u keep them, and a stone's throw from the water and the most beautiful sunset. Some people complained here, and yes I can understand why, but it is also quiet clear they were expecting 3 stars while paying for one. As for slow service, this is a small resort. Everything is prepared fresh on order (try the fresh bread and mango jam! :)) ), in a small resort. If u want ur food in the next 5 min, you don't belong here to start with. As for the people, that is what made my stay one of the best holidays I've been on. The owner and managers are exceptionally friendly. A home away from home. As an example, I arrived 11:30 at night after an exhausting day of travel. Manager Monique met me on arrival. I was simply starving, but there are no shops nearby, and the kitchen staff already went home. Monique went right ahead and prepared eggs, bacon, fruit, coffee and fantastic bread! That is the kind of service you can expect! And as for diving, awesome! Unfortunately in winter time no macro dive spots are accessable, but the micro diving was great with just under 60 turtles encounters over 9 days! Fantastic!

All in all, a great holiday! A great big thanks to managers Monique and Roland, and dive leader Albert and all their staff for a wonderful holiday!

Nice secluded location. Friendly and very accommodating staff. Enjoyed the relaxing and quiet atmosphere since it's miles away from the main tourist spots. Their dog Jackie is adorable and very friendly. The restaurant food is okay. The service is very slow. I highly recommend this place because of its peacefulness.

Room Tip: Try the belgian pancake and homemade jam....they're delicious!
