Just interesting to see this church in the middle of the mountain in Corsica. Not too interesting but you can have a nice views nearby.

The Greek settlement in Corsica, dating from 1676, is remarkable among the colonies of its time for its very slow assimilation, but in the last years only some sense of Greek identity persisting to this day. However the Greco-Corsican construction of identity has been rather more precarious. Also a trip can permit to remember the particular historical circumstances of the colony , with its recorded attitude towards its Corsican neighbors, the continuity of its folk culture with its Greek antecedents, the conditions giving rise to its creedal identity.
Visiting the Greek church, and eating some foods, is an opportunity for experience how much Cargesians have been assimilated.
