“Good day out”
Reviewed 24 August 2013

The animal park at Gramat is surprisingly big and it took as almost 3 hours to get round. The highlights for us were the wolves and bears, and the park specialises in European animals and birds. Whilst it does have more exotic animals one species of goat did start to look much like the other after a while! There are plenty of picnic benches for a stop-off part way round. All in all it's a good afternoon out.

“Interesting day”
Reviewed 14 August 2013

We visited here mainly to see the wolves, but enjoyed all the other animals too. We watched the feeding of the wolves and bears, and thoroughly enjoyed both.
We found the cafe to be good value with cheap meals and snacks. Really enjoyed our day out.

“Family day out at Gramat Zoo at any time of year”
Reviewed 24 November 2012

This zoo, featuring European animals and birds, has been loved by my 9 year old daughter since she was 6 months old. There is one main path you follow which leads you round the zoo and past all the animals, rest areas with swings, picnic benches and seating shelters.

She especially loves feeding time with the otters and feeding the many baby goats, lambs, piglets herself with the bread we have brought with us or the popcorn bought at the entrance kiosk. A favourite is rolling pop corn down a wooden slide to the waiting monkey the other side of the fence - what fun!

At the start/end is a cafe with covered area next to a play area - always popular. We regularly visit this zoo living some 45mins away no matter the time of year.

Entrance fees are reasonsable at 5.50 euro per child over 2 years and 9 euro per adult (as at Nov 2012). There is plenty of foc parking.

We recommend this is a good afternoon out for all ages.
